CNN just dropped the bomb many of us have been waiting for: pure denial. They have been waiting patiently for the journal -- Transactional Neurodegeneration -- which published the historical study on the link between autism and MMR vaccine to retract, redact and otherwise deny the truth of the study.
For the record, we contacted the editor-in-chief of Transactional Neurodegeneration, Professor Shengdi Chen tonight, with this communication:
Guilt by Association: Now, the U.S. government via the corporate media is attempting to demonize Oath Keepers, a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic", by associating the organization with Sgt. Dan Page (most likely a paid government agent). The Oath Keepers recently published an open letter to Governor Jay Nixon. Similarly, government agents have developed a new terror narrative which associates Ferguson protesters with the Islamic State (ISIS). According to the Department of Homeland Security, the number one threat to the 'homeland' is the American people. Additionally, Clergy Response Teams are assisting DHS to quell dissent in Ferguson. Sergeant Dan Page of the St. Louis County Police Department was caught earlier this week participating in what seemed like a staged CNN broadcast in Ferguson where he shoved reporter Don Lemon while standing with peaceful protesters.
YouTube activist The Black Child noticed the encounter on CNN and quickly identified Page and exposed his radical views in the video below. The Black Child pulled clips from a 2012 lecture given by Sergeant Page where he gives detailed plans of a military police state takeover of America. CNN has now confirmed the officer pretending to manhandle reporter Don Lemon is indeed Dan Page in that 2012 lecture. Page has been suspended for his ideology and will be forced to undergo psychiatric evaluation. Of course, they still pretend that Page wasn't a CNN-paid provocateur in that ridiculous sidewalk scene.

The corporate media’s notoriously pro-government slant is coming under increased scrutiny following the incredible citizen journalism coverage showing the unadulterated situation on the ground in Ferguson, often at odds with TV reporting, as Kweli points out.
Kweli makes another extremely valid point about how much of the escalations that are happening in Ferguson have been a direct result of overly militarized police presence and reactions.
A point we made here on The Anti-Media when the Mike Brown shooting first surfaced was that the corporate media quickly shifted the focus of media attention away from the slaying of teenager Mike Brown, and instead focused it’s attention on the few people who began looting. One day after the U.S. government accused Russia of betraying a signature treaty by test-firing a medium-range ballistic missile, questions are mounting on Tuesday over whether the Ukrainian Army has actually fired short-range ballistic missiles at rebel-held areas in the east of the country.

One U.S. official said so far, there has been no reaction from Russia. A second official said it is not clear if the United States will show satellite imagery of the Ukrainian firings "because these are the good guys."
Another of the U.S. officials called the firings "an escalation, but Ukraine has a right to defend itself."
So far, the Ukrainian government has not publicly acknowledged the missile firings. CNN is seeking a comment from Kiev.
While U.S. officials say they don't think pro-Russian rebels have used ballistic missiles, they remain concerned about how Russia might respond.
CNN New Day host Chris Cuomo, who’s been reporting from Ukraine this week, got into an explosive dozen-minute shouting match with RT anchor Peter Lavelle Wednesday morning, as the two men largely yelled past each other over Russia’s culpability in the downing of flight MH17 and the evidence since offered by western powers.
Cuomo asked Lavelle why Putin had allowed the crime scene to so deteriorate, while Lavelle argued that Putin had no control over a foreign country’s territory. The two fought over the existence of the west’s evidence that Moscow-backed Ukrainian separatists fired the missile that took down the plane, with Lavelle claiming it came from “Twitter.”
“The U.S. government condemned Russia before the bodies were even off the ground,” Lavelle said. “What kind of logic is that?… U.S intelligence has no idea what it’s talking about. Or it knows what happens and it doesn’t want the world to find out what really happened.” Watch Video

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on CNN told Wolf Blitzer that the invasion of Gaza was a strategy to demilitarize Gaza, explaining the use of force. But it has been quite a robust use of force…Do you think that it is going to succeed, the Israeli strategy?
No, I think he is making a very serious mistake. When Hamas in effect accepted the notion of participation in the Palestinian leadership, it in effect acknowledged the determination of that leadership to seek a peaceful solution with Israel. That was a real option. They should have persisted in that.
Instead Netanyahu launched the campaign of defamation against Hamas, seized on the killing of three innocent Israeli kids to immediately charge Hamas with having done it without any evidence, and has used that to stir up public opinion in Israel in order to justify this attack on Gaza, which is so lethal.
I think he is isolating Israel. He's endangering its longer-range future. And I think we ought to make it very clear that this is a course of action which we thoroughly disapprove and which we do not support and which may compel us and the rest of the international community to take some steps of legitimizing Palestinian aspirations perhaps in the U.N.
