Saudi Arabia Threatens To Crash The Dollar If Congress Exposes Their Role In 9/11 Attacks

A bombshell report by the New York Times has revealed that Saudi Arabia, the third largest holder of U.S. Treasury bills in the world behind China and Japan, has warned the Obama administration and Congress that they will begin liquidating their U.S. assets if Congress passes a bill allowing for the Saudi government to be held responsible for their role in the terror attacks of 9/11.

Make no mistake that this is blackmail, as the Saudis are estimated to hold three-quarters of a trillion dollars in T-bills and the sudden divestment would almost certainly crash the dollar as well as global markets along with it.

Perhaps this explains Obama’s unwavering support for the Wahhabi regime, as congressional aides and administration officials have confirmed that the President has been lobbying Congress to block passage of the bill. Administration officials have warned Senators that if the Saudis make good on their threat, there would be extreme economic and diplomatic fallout.

What Really Caused Riots to Erupt in Baltimore

According to James MacArthur, a Baltimore based activist and blogger, police action caused the Baltimore riots to erupt Monday afternoon as area schools were dismissed for the day.  A Baltimore school teacher's account of the event posted on twitter appears to corroborate MacArthur's report.

E. Ukraine Rebels Merge to Form the United Army of Novorossiya

On Wednesday (September 17, 2014), Fyodor Berezin, the leader of the People’s Republic of Donetsk, announced the merging of the People’s Republic of Lugansk and Donetsk militia, forming the ‘United Army of Novorossiya‘. In the video below, the new Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Military Forces of Novorossiya recommends beginning the next stage of the war, no longer on the defensive but on the offensive, with plans to take back Kiev.

The announcement came just two days after a video surfaced from Donetsk which appeared to prove the ceasefire with Kiev had been broken. In this video which we embedded below, several civilian bodies lay bloody and lifeless. This is a scene becoming all too familiar to anyone paying attention to world events. You have been warned, the scene is extremely graphic.

This week also marked the beginning of a huge military drill in Ukraine involving 1,300 troops from 15 countries, including Ukraine, the United States, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Spain. There will even be NATO observers participating in Exercise Rapid Trident 2014.

The Number Of Volcanic Eruptions Is Increasing And That Could Lead To An Extremely Cold Winter

The number of volcanoes that are erupting continues to rise, and scientists cannot seem to explain why this is happening. In 2013, we witnessed the most volcanic eruptions worldwide that we have ever seen in a single year, and this increased activity has carried over into 2014. In recent months, we have seen major volcanoes roar to life in Russia, Peru, Hawaii, Reunion Island, Indonesia, and all over Alaska. It is highly unusual for so many volcanoes to all be erupting at the same time.  

According to Volcano Discovery, a whopping 34 volcanoesare erupting around the globe right now.  This is sending a massive amount of dust and ash into the upper atmosphere, and it may explain why many parts of the planet are experiencing strangely cold weather at the moment.  If this trend continues, we could potentially be facing years of crop failures and widespread famines all over the world.

"Most powerful armed group in Syria" takes massive hit

Nearly fifty senior commanders of a major coalition of Islamic ‘moderates’ opposed to ISIS in Syria have been killed by an explosion at their secret command bunker as they met to discuss strategy against the the Islamic State.

The blast in the Northwest region of Idlib, Syria on Tuesday killed senior members of rebel group the Ahrar-al-Sham brigade (AaS), including leader Hassan Abboud and 45 others including senior members from other rebel alliance groups, reports The Times. The Idlib region stands in AaS territory, but it is close to the front-line with ISIS in neighbouring Aleppo.

Sources dispute the source of the blast, with it being unclear whether it was an opposition group, suicide bomber, or accidental explosion at a nearby ammunition dump. Regardless, the incident will destabilise and possibly tear apart the AaS group and associated Islamic Front Coalition which was recently described as “the most powerful armed group in Syria”.

Islamic group Ahrar-al-Sham, whose name translates as ‘The Free Men of Syria’, is one of many movements competing in the inter-rebel conflict in Syria. A number of rebel groups are presently fighting each other as well as besieged Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whose power base is in West and South-West, for overall control of the Region.

Shhhh… The Crime Rate in Chicago Took a Nose-Dive. Here’s Why

In 2012, Chicago was the murder capital of America. That December, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit struck down the ban Illinois had in place on concealed carry. This year was the first time the new concealed carry program was implemented in the state.

Guess what? In the first quarter of 2014, the homicide rate in Chicago dropped to the lowest we have seen in 56 years. Auto theft rates have dropped by 26% and burglaries are down by 20%.

Well, what do you know? Now that people can defend themselves in public, Chicago’s notorious crime rate has suddenly plummeted. It’s not rocket science. For some reason I doubt the cops are responsible for the sudden turnaround.

Mike Brown Protesters: Willing to Die for Justice

On August 9, 2014 Michael Brown of Ferguson Missouri was shot numerous times and killed by Ferguson Police Officer, Darren Wilson, followed by days and weeks of mostly peaceful protests with some rioting and looting and a militarized police response including Governor Jay Nixon's State of Emergency declaration and deployment of the Missouri National Guard on the streets of Ferguson. As a result, Ferguson residents were subject to martial law measures which included city-wide checkpoints, impeding travel and limiting access to friends, family and basic supplies needed for subsistence. Militarized police positioned snipers atop buildings and Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles pointing their military grade weapons at peaceful protesters and journalists. Residents and journalists were rounded up and caged in local jails and fired upon with tear gas and bullets causing serious injuries.

To date, Darren Wilson remains on paid administrative leave as local, state, and federal investigations are underway. On Thursday, Attorney General Eric Holder announced a Civil Rights Investigation into the Ferguson Police Department.

Meanwhile, the corporate owned media, with the exception of local news outlets have essentially disappeared from the scene in Ferguson while local residents and activists are organizing and taking action to stand up against police brutality, the militarization of police, racial profiling, and systemic corruption within local, state, and federal government agencies.

On Friday, August 5, 2014, almost one month since Michael Brown was gunned down by Darren Wilson, Center Stage radio host, Kheri Hines has invited several protesters who have been on the ground in Ferguson since the beginning to join us on Center Stage for our sixth consecutive episode about Michael Brown's murder, to discuss recent events in Ferguson and future plans to address their concerns. In the decades following World War II, the U.S.—strengthened in its economy and national confidence—began to take up the torch of international leadership and added a new dimension. A nation founded explicitly on an idea of free and representative governance, the U.S. identified its own rise with the spread of liberty and democracy and credited these forces with an ability to achieve just and lasting peace. The traditional European approach to order had viewed peoples and states as inherently competitive; to constrain the effects of their clashing ambitions, it relied on a balance of power and a concert of enlightened statesmen. The prevalent American view considered people inherently reasonable and inclined toward peaceful compromise and common sense; the spread of democracy was therefore the overarching goal for international order. Free markets would uplift individuals, enrich societies and substitute economic interdependence for traditional international rivalries.

This effort to establish world order has in many ways come to fruition. A plethora of independent sovereign states govern most of the world’s territory. The spread of democracy and participatory governance has become a shared aspiration if not a universal reality; global communications and financial networks operate in real time.

Papers Please? St. Paul Cop Harassed Black Man Waiting For His Kids for ID, Caught on Tape

While voter identification laws are a hot button issue in national politics, those laws aren't usually discussed in the broader context of identification requirements in various aspects of everyday life.  For starters, border patrol agents dozens of miles away from an international border ask for identification purportedly to root out illegal immigrants. Identification is required at the doctor's office, for increasing amount of medication, at the airport, on trains and now even for some interstate bus trips, for renting a car, getting into most government buildings, and so on in that manner. A mere fifteen years ago much of this may have seemed unthinkable.

So while the debate over whether voter ID laws are effective or whether they infringe on the right to vote (which ought to be universal given citizenship, which should be based on residency and necessary and proper paperwork) continues, it misses the point that citizens and non-citizens alike who don't have identification have a harder time accessing all kinds of goods and services, government and otherwise, often due to government regulations and edicts.

This is not just an issue of taking a bus instead of flying, as former homeland security secretary Janet Napolitano once suggested for those tired of the security theater at the airport. And a bus is increasingly not an option either. In Houston Representative Barbara Jackson Lee (D) lauded the Department of Homeland Security sending TSA agents onto local buses!

Eventually it becomes about the freedom of movement at the most basic level. Witness this interaction between an officer and a man who told them he was waiting to pick up his kids from the local charter school. Note how quickly it escalates despite the man's calm demeanor, all over a demand to produce identification:

Minnesota City Pages identified the man, who spoke to them, as Chris Lollie. He was arrested for "disorderly conduct" and "obstructing the legal process," and was charged with those crimes as well as trespassing. They were, unsurprisingly, all dropped. Police insist they were dealing with an "uncooperative male refusing to leave" and said there were no complaints filed after the incident (many incidents of police brutality can go unreported), which happened in January but video of which only emerged online this month. The YouTube user who posted claims the cellphone was seized for six months (likely the length of time before charges were dropped and the "investigation" ended).

If it's a war zone out there for cops, it's the "civilians" that often seem most at risk.

Sensible rules of engagement for cops, as well as effective disciplinary processes, are needed to attempt to root out behaviors and attitudes like those of the officer's in the video.

The Flagrantly Fabricated Ferguson Phenomenon

I’ve avoided getting into this because it’s so goddamn obvious, but I’ve had some requests regarding how I see this “news”. There’s nothing new about it – a convenient ignition point sparked by a lone incident, resulting in expected protest and deliberately inflamed chaos and media mind-pumping. Same old, same old. When will humanity wake up, I don’t know.

I understand the outrage. Not only was there another example of the mindless cop killer meme we see played out daily “subduing” an unarmed suspect by outright killing hIm, but rightfully enraged citizens are treated like mindless savages in a prison ground. The fact that they’ve been caught bussing in looting agent provacateurs to make sure this conflagration gets sufficient fuel should make the hair on people’s necks stand up, but if they haven’t seen the obvious until now they’ll likely be blind to these reports as well.

All while the razor wire fences and military turrets of the totalitarian state get erected around them.  

Shooting instructor dies after being accidentally shot by girl

A shooting instructor has died after a nine-year-old girl accidentally shot him in the head as he taught her how to use a sub-machine gun.

Charles Vacca, a father and veteran from Lake Havasu City, Arizona, was airlifted to hospital on Monday morning after the little girl shot him with a Uzi at an outdoor shooting range in Dolan Springs.

'Vacca was standing next to the girl while he was instructing her how to use the weapon when the accident happened,' a Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told BNO News.

'Further investigations determined [that when] the girl pulled the trigger on the automatic Uzi, the recoil sent the gun over her head, and the victim was shot.'

Vacca was airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he
died of his injuries around 9pm on Monday. An autopsy will now be carried out.
