Obama’s Stealth AR-15 Gun Ban Targets Ammo: ''No One Can Import, Sell or Even Produce It''

Mac Slavo

If nothing else can be said about President Obama, he has adamantly stuck to one key promise – the one he made to the Brady Center to pursue gun control "under the radar."

The AR-15 is America’s most popular sporting rifle, and it has been falsely mischaracterized as an “automatic” firearm and an “assault” weapon. It has been demonized as a monstrosity via the Sandy Hook shootings. Bans on it and other so-called “assault weapons” have been attempted from every possible angle.

And now that those measures have failed to accomplish total gun control, the Obama Administration, hungry to undermine the 2nd Amendment and restrict gun ownership, is using backdoor regulations through the BATFE to ban the sale, import and manufacture of the most affordable ammunition for the AR-15.

The Second Amendment and the Right to Bear Drones

Joshua Krause

It seems like every week, there is a trending story about some new leap forward in robotic technology. It’s often a cool new prosthesis, or perhaps a unique military drone. This week, it was the Marine Corps’ new GuardBot, which is basically a rolling sphere with cameras. It can travel 3 mph in the water, and 6 mph on land, where it can tread over a wide variety of terrains.

When it’s ready to be deployed, it’ll be able to use sonar, detect radiation, and sense bomb-making materials. Supposedly, this will give the Marines a significant advantage during any amphibious invasion (though they haven’t taken a single beachhead since World War Two, but that’s a story for another day).

However, given the rapid advance of robotic technology, drones like the GuardBot may look quaint in the next few years. We’re on the cusp of a new age of warfare that will be unlike anything we’ve seen before. In the future, the superpowers of the world will fight their wars with autonomous robots and, unfortunately, most people are completely unaware of what this might mean for their children’s generation.

Open Carry Activist Defeats 6 Police Officers with the Constitution (WATCH)

Every Friday we go out and exercise our right to free assembly and protest the government. We call it #ForLibertyFridays. Usually we gather on a street corner during rush hour traffic and waive signs and flags. Some of us open carry rifles and side arms too. We have never had any problems whatsoever from the police or sheriff, who have always known the laws, and only treated us with respect.

Today I decided just to stay in front of my house in Rochester Hills instead of our usual location. I was outside with my rifle and my Gadsden "don't tread of me" flag how I usually do. After about 15 minutes of doing this was when the first officer (and the 5 other cars right after) rolled up on me, and demanded that I put my rifle down and walk over to him. The he began yelling on the loudspeaker "not to point the gun at him", when I absolutely certainly did not and it facing the ground. I stood there until he told me not to create a "Bad Situation" and un-holstered his weapon. I felt threatened and didn't want to risk this cop who probably watches too many crime shows to shoot me in the back. I laid my gun down on the ground, while showing my him hands (one hand holding my smartphone) and then walked towards him. He then ordered another officer to seize my rifle that I had set on the ground.

Newtown Father Gives Gun Rights Lesson to Congress

In a similar vein as the impassioned speech given by Suzanna Gratia-Hupp in the wake of her parents murder by a gun-wielding madman, Newtown resident Bill Stevens absolutely owns Congress in the following video where he asks the same question: Want to know why people need guns?

Mr. Stevens' daughter was part of the lockdown that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School. As he states, "lockdown, and 9/11 were not enough" to protect many of his daughter's peers that day. He tells the Working Group Public Hearing on Gun Violence Prevention in no uncertain terms that any proposal seeking to strip decent people of their right to defend their families is entirely unconstitutional - not only under the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, but under Section 15 of the Connecticut state Constitution as well; and it makes no mention of permits, registration and background checks.

"Legislation is not due process."

Want to Know Why People Need Guns?

The following video from many years ago titled "A Daughter's Regret" shows the testimony of Suzanna Gratia Hupp whose parents were killed when a madman opened fire in a Texas cafeteria. It is a powerful reminder of how essential it is to protect the Second Amendment, not for duck hunting, as she points out, but to protect our loved ones from maniacs ... and a government that would put us in such a vulnerable position.

Here is an excerpt from the video description, which adds background and context to her testimony.

It was October 1991 when an unemployed merchant seaman drove his pickup truck into a Luby's cafeteria in Killeen, Tex., leaped out and opened fire. He killed 23 people and wounded more than 20.
Hupp and her parents were having lunch in the restaurant when the shooting started. Hupp instinctively reached into her purse for her .38-caliber Smith & Wesson, but she had left it in the car...
"Even if you choose not to have a gun, as the bad guy who ignored all the laws is getting close to you and as he levels that firearm at one of your children, don't you hope the person next to you has chosen to carry a gun and knows how to use it?"  ...
"A gun can be used to kill a family, or defend a family," Hupp said. "I've lived what gun laws do. My parents died because of what gun laws do. I'm the quintessential soccer mom, and I want the right to protect my family. What happened to my parents will never happen again with my kids there."

Dennis Kucinich Makes Fox News Debut With Bill O'Reilly (VIDEO) Will Obama’s gun plan pass congress?

Dennis Kucinich made his official debut as a Fox News contributor on Thursday's "O'Reilly Factor."

The left-wing ex-congressman probably startled many supporters when he announced that he was on the Roger Ailes payroll on Wednesday, but he appeared eager to chat when O'Reilly introduced him.
"Wow, what a conversion!" O'Reilly joked. "Congressman, how did that happen? You know all the people on Fox News are far-right crazy people!"
"Together again at last, Bill," Kucinich said. "So you're the same left-wing nut we know and love," O'Reilly said. Kucinich pointedly noted that, unlike "another network," Fox News had allowed him to participate in a presidential debate.
The two then spent a few minutes sparring gently over things like Al Franken (O'Reilly: "he's a weasel." Kucinich: "well, I can't say that") and gun control.
"Bill, we'll talk again," Kucinich said as the segment ended.
"Alright, you," O'Reilly replied. "We're glad you're on board, Congressman."

Larry Pratt Slams Piers Morgan Over “Sham” Gun Control Argument

CNN host is still ludicrously claiming that gun control made England safe, when it is the most violent country in Europe

Gun Owners of America head Larry Pratt re-appeared on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight and proceeded to school Morgan on his ridiculous argument that England, a country with the highest violent crime rate in Europe, was made safe by gun control.
Pratt savaged Morgan’s contention that gun control reduces violent crime and murders, labeling the CNN host’s position a “sham”.
Morgan’s argument that England, a country with a higher violent crime rate than even poverty-stricken South Africa, was made safe by gun control, is patently ludicrous and can be debunked in all manner of different ways.
For a start, Morgan’s claim of only 39 gun murders in England and Wales in 2011 has to be balanced against the fact that top police bodies in England have repeatedly warned that crime figures are being manipulated to reduce the number of recorded crimes and that, “the recorded crime level bore no resemblance to the actual amount of crime being committed.”
A 2000 report from the Inspectorate of Constabulary found that the way England records homicides is completely inaccurate in comparison with the American method and that, “With such differences in reporting criteria, comparisons of U.S. homicide rates with British homicide rates is a sham.”
As the Telegraph reported, “the true level of gun crime” (in England) is (still) far higher than the Government admits in official statistics.”

5 Facts To Take Away From The Tragedy In Newtown

Andrew Criscione
Speak Liberty Now

The recent school shooting in Newtown that killed 20 children and 6 adults is a horrific tragedy, and
there are five very important facts to take away from it.
1.) Gun-free zones are extremely dangerous.
In Switzerland, where many adults carry semi-automatic weapons while in the course of their daily activities,
“the gun crime rate is so low that statistics are not even kept.” (1) On the other extreme is Norway,
where guns are very tightly controlled. This enabled a shooter to casually take his time massacring over
70 children at the equivalent of a US Boy Scout camp. In a US Boy Scout camp, firearms are typically
prevalent among adults and older scouts. The shooter wouldn’t have made it very far.
Just a week before the Newtown shooting, a shooting in Oregon was stopped in its tracks by an armed
citizen. A psychopath with a large amount of ammunition was prepared to carry out a massacre. After
he got his first few shots off, though, an armed citizen with a legal gun confronted him. The killer
decided to take his own life quickly rather than risk a painful death in a shootout. (2)
And apart from lone serial killers on a shooting rampage, it’s important to realize that most gun violence
comes from organized crime. In Mexico, where it is very hard for civilians to own weapons, “More
civilians were killed [in 2010] in Ciudad Juarez, the Mexican city across the border from El Paso, Texas,
than were killed in all of Afghanistan.” (3)
When it is against the law to own a firearm, only criminals have firearms, and law-abiding people can’t
prevent a reign of terror.
2.) It is a scientific fact that banning guns does not decrease murder and suicide rates.

The History of Gun Control

The History of Gun Control

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
The History of Gun Control

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Let’s see how many defenseless people were exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control:

Country Year(s) People
Exterminated
USSR 1929-1953 20,000,000
Turkey 1915-1917 1,500,000
Germany 1939-1945 13,000,000
China 1948-1952 20,000,000
Guatemala 1964-1981 100,000
Uganda 1971-1979 300,000
Cambodia 1975-1977 1,000,000

Total: 56 million.

Governments around the World need a history lesson.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by
new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their
own government, a program costing Australian taxpayers more than $500
million dollars. The first year results are now in:
1) Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent.
2) Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent.
3) Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent!)
4) In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent.

Note, that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals
did not, and criminals still possess their guns! While figures over the
previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with
firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months,
since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of
the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how
public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort
and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns.

The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Yu_wT7Th6w

You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians
disseminating this information. Guns in the hands of honest citizens
save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect
only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late! The next time
someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this
history lesson.
With guns, we are ‘citizens.’ Without them, we are ’subjects.’

"No man’s life, liberty or property is safe while the legislature is in session."

Connecticut Shootings What No One Dares Say

Last week 27 Americans were murdered in a shooting spree, 20 of those killed were children. An enormous amount of attention is being focused on this event, even to the point of having the president make emotional speeches about it and visiting the families, and the story has been the top story on the news not just in the United States, but all over the world. Obviously this is an enormous tragedy for the families involved, however there is something very important that's not being said here.

The obvious attack on the 2nd amendment may be the main topic on your mind, but the problem goes much deeper than gun control or any of these other surface issues.

Grab My Gun? Get a Grip!

Holly Deyo, Contributor
Activist Post

Stan and I are Second Amendment proponents. Full stop. If people choose not to avail themselves of this right and find themselves in a bloody knot, then likely they'll have a "gun toting" neighbor to thank for help. Due to financial and staff cutbacks, plus increasing calls for assistance, police take too long to respond. It's up to civilians to protect their own.

A couple of months ago much to our shock, a "Stan fan" showed up on our doorstep, unannounced, uninvited at 9 p.m. on a Friday night. This was weird and unnerving especially in light of recent home invasions in neighboring Colorado Springs.

The only defense between these two unknown men and me was a newly installed secured storm door – and a firearm in Stan's hands.

Illinois Governor Issues New Proposal for Gun Control

Brandon Turbeville
Activist Post

In an easily predictable move, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has recently proposed a plan to ban what he calls “assault” weapons in his state.

Quinn is using his amendatory veto power as Governor to make changes to a bill dealing with ammunition sales and add language that would prohibit the sale, manufacture, purchase, and possession of “semi-automatic assault weapons and attachments.”

Now that Quinn has made his changes to the bill, Illinois lawmakers will have to make the choice as to whether they will accept the amended version or reject it. They could also simply not call a vote on the legislation and allow it to die.

The bill, with the new language added by Quinn, also specifically bans the AK-47, AR-15, and TEC-9.

The Assault on 2nd Amendment Precursor to Martial Law in America

Susanne Posel, Contributor
Activist Post

The disinformation mafia at Time magazine says that the phrase “’Guns don’t actually kill people’ is sometimes a refrain from gun rights advocates when they run low on arguments in a policy discussion.”

Concerning the false flag staged attack in Aurora, Colorado, the National Rifle Association is pushing for the right to bear arms and the retention of our 2nd Amendment, while the talking heads at CNN want us to believe the globalist’s lie that America would be safer if semi-automatic weapons were banned from purchase. In a commentary piece, they say that America’s violent culture can be directly blamed on our ability to have guns to protect ourselves. Never does the author of the article mention that the increase in violent films, television shows and music could be a factor in brainwashing average Americans to think enacting violent outbursts would be acceptable.

More attacks on our right to defend ourselves against the tyrannical takeover of our nation by the global Elite and the banking cartels come from Antonin Scalia, Supreme Court Justice, who wrongly states that the 2nd Amendment allows the US government to regulate firearms.

Scalia asserts that limiting “assault rifles” is up to the government and they should be outlawed.

DHS Prepares for Civil Unrest as Destruction of 2nd Amendment Looms

Susanne Posel, Contributor
Activist Post

Surveillance drones have a new mission. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) they will be used for “public safety”.  Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the DHS, told a House Committee meeting on Homeland Security that the more than 30,000 drones that will be deployed into American skies are just arbitrarily watching out for US citizens.

Napolitano stated:

With respect to Science and Technology, that directorate, we do have a funded project, I think it’s in California, looking at drones that could be utilized to give us situational awareness in a large public safety [matter] or disaster, such as a forest fire, and how they could give us better information.
Secretly, DHS have been taking bids from contractors who can install “aerial remote sensing,” which uses light detection and ranging (LIDAR) that would be part of the drone missions within domestic US territory.

UN fails to agree on Arms Trade Treaty, opts for possible vote by the end of the year

Madison Ruppert, Contributor
Activist Post

Thankfully, it appears that the controversial United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) has been stopped in its tracks, at least for now.

Negotiations have been held between 170 countries from July 2 to July 27, 2012 and yet they were not even able to make a decision on a draft version of the treaty which some say could have threatened the Second Amendment.

However, the treaty, which needed to be adopted by consensus (meaning it would only take one country to veto the deal), has not been shot down completely.

There is still the possibility of further discussions and a draft arms trade treaty very well could be brought before the 193-nation UN General Assembly.

Indeed, some diplomats are clearly confident that this treaty will be put in place, essentially saying it is just a matter of time until it happens.

“We feel that we could have agreed (a treaty). It is disappointing that more time is needed. But an arms-trade treaty is coming – not today – but soon. We’ve taken a big step forward,” said a spokesperson for the British delegation.
