Update: Indeed BBC did not see "MIGs" bombing Aleppo, though it appears they weren't even anti-tank SU-25's but rather training aircraft. Aero L-39 Albatros are also not even "Russian-made" as the BBC claimed. The article below has been amended to reflect this information. 

When big lies must be told, BBC is there. From Iraq to Afghanistan to Libya and now Syria, BBC has paved the way for Western disinformation meant to mange public perception around a war the public would otherwise never support or tolerate.

The BBC, caught on record producing entire "documentaries" on behalf of corporate-financier interests, has already been caught in immense lies regarding the NATO-fueled destabilization of Syria. This includes the disingenuous use of photos from Iraq, to depict a so-called "massacre" in the village of Houla, Syria. 

Now, as NATO's Al Qaeda mercenaries operating under the banner of the so-called "Free Syrian Army" flow over the Turkish-Syrian border in an attempt to overrun the city of Aleppo, BBC is there, attempting to manipulate the public's perception as the conflict unfolds.

Scratching just below the surface of the Western media's headlines are stories carrying greater implications - stories the West believes are better left untold.

"Operation Damascus Volcano" Followed Weeks of Warnings of Impending NATO Psy-Op.

Beginning last week, headlines were overrun by a coordinated NATO-backed "Free Syrian Army" (FSA) offensive and an assassination bombing in Damascus, timed so close to each other and the UN Security Council vote on sanctions, the vote was pushed back a day.

The attacks dubbed, "Operation Damascus Volcano" were clearly coordinated with the assassination bombing, designed for psychological impact, and when Syrians reacted with resolve, they quickly collapsed. 

What went unreported until over a week later, were warnings of a potential NATO psychological warfare operation, matching hijacked satellite channels broadcasting false reports with an initially violent but ultimately futile militant offensive to stampede the Syrian government out of power on a wave of confusion and panic. It appears "Damascus Volcano" was just that operation.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President Barack Obama on Wednesday vowed to keep pressure on the Al-Qaeda terror group following the death of Osama bin Laden in last month's daring US raid in Pakistan.

US military operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan have served to "severely cripple Al-Qaeda's capacities," Obama said at a White House press conference.

"Osama bin Laden got the most attention, but before that we decimated some of the upper ranks of Al-Qaeda," he said.

Ah, good ol’ Iran making ambiguous threats which are then used by the corporate media to hype up an irrational fear and support for a possible preemptive strike. The media’s Iran fearmongering was on a bit of a hiatus as they utilized their propaganda machine to focus on Libya, Syria, and Pakistan. However, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard’s Aerospace Force gave the Western media plenty of murky possible threats to run with.

Replace lions, tigers and bears with Iran, China and Pakistan, then imagine Dorothy, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow as the English, British and Israeli arms of the Western propaganda machine. I think they’d be better off just dubbing over that as their brand of fearmongering is even less effective. (The YouTube video cannot be embedded but can be seen here.)

The above linked Fox News piece is headlined, “Guard Chief: Iran Can Build Longer-Range Missiles,” while the article goes on to say they’re not doing it because they can already attack Israeli and American bases in the Persian Gulf. These remarks just happen to be delivered during massive Iranian war games stretching over 10 days, codenamed “Great Prophet 6.”

Iran has been flaunting their new underground missile silos which are designed to avoid satellite detection, among other intimidating weaponry during this extended exercise. This is very likely a reaction to the United States’ attempted missile defense shield program which would encircle the entire region. This plan was vocally opposed by Russia and the other nations that would have hundreds of ballistic missiles pointed directly at them.

"Senator" John McCain is a traitor in every sense of the word. He is a man who has overtly divorced himself from the US Constitution (see also: McCain's support for the Patriot Act) he has sworn an oath to defend, first as a Navy pilot, then as a Senator. He consorts with, lobbies for, and procures money and resources for real terrorists while citing battalions of fictitious bearded men to justify his numerous transgressions against America's Bill of Rights. When John McCain isn't literally shaking the hands of terrorists in Benghazi, fresh back from Iraq and Afghanistan with American blood on their hands, he is berating Americans who believe US imperialism must end.

CNN's article, "McCain slams GOP hopefuls' 'isolationism'" is a profile of astounding servile obedience to the corporate interests that craft the agenda he attempts to foist upon the American people on a daily basis. In the article McCain claims, "We cannot repeat the lessons of the 1930s, when the United States of America stood by while bad things happened in the world." In reality, the "bad things" happening in the world now are a direct result of men like McCain, the organizations he is complicit with, the imperial networks and governments they are attempting to sow throughout the world and the inevitable violence that has ensued as nations resist yet another parasitic empire as it attempts to spread across the surface of the planet.

The scandal was called “payola.” With so much good music out there, then at least, millions were unaware that “factories” were producing the utter crap they were listening to and buying, crap they learned to love, crap that has since disappeared.

There is nothing left of the thousands of “hit songs” from the 1950s, almost all have simply gone away, not worth stealing, not illegally downloaded even.

The same people who “did” our music, built the rest of our culture too, a culture built on mythology, a hokey form of phony patriotism and totalitarian ”brain washing” based on the carryover of cheap wartime propaganda. Think tanks with unpleasant globalist political agenda’s reinvented America by controlling our education and culture. Hunt for Man Who Violated Parole, Fired at Police Turns into Domestic Terror Propaganda

Once again, the government and the corporate media are busy at work trying to portray anti-government activists as murderous terrorists.



“Montana authorities are on a manhunt for an ‘extremely dangerous’ former militia leader who triggered a shootout with cops and fled into the wilderness with a cache of weapons,” reports the NY Daily News.

“David Burgert, 47, a former head of a violent anti-government militia group, traded gunfire with Missoula County deputies along a logging trail after a slow speed car chase near Lolo, Mont., on Sunday, cops said.”

According to the FBI, the former Marine and Project 7, a Montana militia, plotted to assassinate local officials, kill cops and ultimately topple the government.

But there is a problem with this story. It is not true.

Two weeks after it started the Greek movement of ‘outraged’ people has the main squares in all cities overflowing with crowds that shout their anger, and makes the Papandreou government and its local and international supporters tremble. Difficult to say since one of the characteristic features of such popular gatherings is that there is no key event (speech or concert) and that people come and go. But according to people in charge of the Athens underground, who know how to assess the numbers of passengers, there were at least 250,000 people converging on Syntagma on that memorable night! Actually several hundreds of thousands of people if we add the ‘historic’ gatherings that took place on the main squares of other Greek cities.

Past attendees have included several U.S. presidents, Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner, Prince Charles, current British Prime Minister David Cameron, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates and current Texas governor Rick Perry.  You would think that these meetings would be something that the mainstream media would want to cover.

BANDERA, Texas -- The Bandera County Sheriff's Office issued a warning Thursday to citizens about an anti-government movement known for acts of domestic terrorism.

The law enforcement agency said followers of The Sovereign Citizens Movement have been known to carry out violent acts, including killing law enforcement officers and other public servants.

The sheriff's office told KSAT-12 News the warning was prompted by the recent shooting death of Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Kenneth Vann."We have domestic terrorism right at our doorstep," said Capt. Charlie Hicks of the Bandera County Sheriff's Office.

Hicks said while there's no evidence Vann's death had any links to the Sovereign Citizens, it's the same type of crime followers are known for.

Gadahn Call for Gun Violence Merges With Obama’s “Under the Radar” Anti-gun Agenda

Adam Pearlman, aka Adam Gadahn, has called for Muslims to fall on U.S. gun stores and gun shows, stock up on weapons, and start killing Americans. Pearlman’s remarks are contained in a video released on Friday.



“America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms,” said Gadahn, who is also known as Azzam al-Amriki, or Azzam the American.

“You can go down to a gun show at the local convention center and come away with a fully automatic assault rifle without a background check and most likely without having to show an identification card.”

In fact, the federal government controls who owns fully automatic weapons. The federal government has also outlawed a number of semi-automatic weapons, which are classified as “assault weapons.”

Azzam al-Amriki has a very poor understanding of gun laws in the United States.

Spinning the Economy to a Recovery

Remember back in early-2009, when the mainstream media (MSM) started with the ridiculous “green shoots” talking point?  Even though the data was dismal and there were no signs of the economy recovering, the“green shoots” term was used by just about everyone in the MSM.  I think not long after economist Nouriel Roubini said that the much talked about “green shoots” was really“yellow weeds,” the talking point changed to “recovery.” (Click here to read the complete “Yellow Weeds” article from professor Roubini.) Ever since, the MSM has described the so-called “economic recovery” in terms such as  “fragile,” “jobless” and“tenuous,” to name a few.   The data has repeatedly shown the “recovery” isn’t any of these terms because THERE IS NO RECOVERY.  Oh sure, the stock market has gone up, but so have the number of people on food stamps, which is at a new record of 44 million.  There is also no recovery for the 33 million people who are unemployed.  Forget the government B.S. of 9%, the true unemployment rate has been stuck north of 22% for months according to Shadowstats.com.

The latest numbers have shown there is bad news across the board for housing, autos, manufacturing, employment and consumer confidence.  Well, here we go again with the spin by the MSM.  Even though many are now admitting there is a double-dip in the economy, the talking points used to describe this new downturn are things like “temporary,” “transitory” and a good old fashion “soft patch.” Here’s how the Associated Press reported the story after a nearly 300 point drop in the Dow this week.  It said, “We’re definitely in a soft patch,” says Steve Blitz, senior economist for ITG Investment Research.  No one knows whether the slowdown is a temporary setback or the start of a prolonged period of anemic growth. Many analysts hold out hope that the economy will rebound in the second half of 2011.” (Click here for the complete AP story.) “Soft patch, temporary,” see what I mean?  Since when is holding out “hope”and investment strategy?  Me and the people I have been quoting on this site have been clearly telling readers there would be another plunge in the economy.  We were right and the MSM was wrong—again.

We are told every Memorial Day to remember those that gave their lives for your freedom. This is so pervasive in our society that it is hardly ever questioned. We are sold on flags, apple pie and yellow ribbons. We cheer and even get a little misty eyed thinking about those brave soldiers that gave their all for us. After all nothing could be more honorable than sacrificing yourself for others. This Memorial Day I want you to get past the pomp and circumstance of holiday and really think about the reality of our world.

The first thing I would like you to consider, are you free? Of course we are free, we are Americans after all. Land of the free and home of the brave. We can do what ever we want and we chat we’re #1, we’re #1! That may be true years ago, but it is not now. While we are waving the Chinese made American flags, our freedoms have long since been taken away. The fact of the matter is that we are all slaves. No longer does there need to be plantation owner with a whip, all we need is a banker with a pen. The best part of this new slave system is that it is a chain the slave willingly puts on and mentally justifies to themselves. The very fact that we are free to put on the chain makes us think that we are free to take it off.

The stage has been set for a nuclear false flag in America.

Many in the alternative media have wondered if a false flag nuke attack within America is a real possibility. Would they do it? Who would it be? What cities would be targeted?

Recently, The New York Times reported that the United States is running out of a rare gas that is used to detect smuggled nuclear materials.

The reason given is that one arm of the Energy Department is selling the gas much quicker than the other is able to accumulate it.

While this could possibly be a legitimate reason, it seems highly suspicious that a government that is installing a police state nationwide to supposedly save us from terrorists would be unable to obtain the gas needed to detect smuggled nuclear weapons.

Wouldn’t a nuclear attack on America be the MOST important threat to combat?

An Analogy of China as the United States Clearly Shows U.S. Lies for War with Iran

I wrote an analogy in 2009 of what the world would look like to Americans if the relationship of the US to Iran were switched to the US having Iran’s position and China having the US position. I’m re-printing the article below to help Americans understand the Orwellian nature of US current wars and threats for expanded war to mass-murder Iranians. This also occurs as the US actively kills Libyans and Pakistanis (and here).

What we know for sure by the objective facts that anyone can verify: US political and corporate media “leadership” lies about alleged “reasons” for war with Iran (my most recent article on this topic here, with multiple links): specifically:

1. Iran’s president never physically threatened Israel.  
2. All of Iran’s nuclear material is fully accounted for peaceful and legal use for energy and medicine. 

The US completely lied for its unlawful attack and invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. We now know from our own government’s disclosure of the evidence that all “reasons” for war were known lies.

Current status for US war with Iran is that the same lying US government now claims from its laughable conflicting stories about the alleged extrajudicial assassination of Osama bin Laden that Iran holds some responsibility (and here) for the US’ also laughable and conflicting explanation of what happened on 9/11 (here for explanation and multiple documentation).

In a sensational and explosive TV report, the Pakistani News Agency has provided a live interview with an eye witness to the US attack on the alleged compound of Osama bin Laden. The eye witness, Mohammad Bashir, describes the event as it unfolded. Of the three helicopters, “there was only one that landed the men and came back to pick them up, but as he [the helicopter] was picking them up, it blew away and caught fire.” The witness says that there were no survivors, just dead bodies and pieces of bodies everywhere. “We saw the helicopter burning, we saw the dead bodies, then everything was removed and now there is nothing.”

I always wondered how a helicopter could crash, as the White House reported, without at least producing injuries. Yet, in the original White House story, the SEALs not only survived a 40-minute firefight with al Qaeda, “the most highly trained, most dangerous, most vicious killers on the planet,” without a scratch, but also survived a helicopter crash without a scratch.

And in the strongest terms to date, the White House made it clear the U.S. will use its military might to strike back if it comes under a cyberattack that threatens national security. [big surprise..they strike at anyone for anything..ed]

Coming on the heels of populist rebellions in the Middle East, the broad policy stresses Internet freedom, and calls on other nations to give citizens the ability to shop, communicate and express themselves freely online.

US Secret Service takes to Twitter

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The US Secret Service, renowned for the sharp suited agents protecting the US president, made its debut on Twitter on Monday, saying the micro-blogging site could help recruiting.

The agency, which also has a uniformed branch and protects the grounds of the White House, has a second mission of preventing currency and bond fraud, and became the latest of a long list of US government agencies to join Twitter.

"The Internet is a valuable resource for people all over the world," said Secret Service Assistant Director Mickey Nelson.

"By using social media sites, we hope to supplement our recruitment efforts, while providing an informative, helpful tool to businesses and individuals who are interested in information from our agency."

Nelson said the @SecretService account would highlight the service's investigative mission and hand out information to local communities about security on presidential visits and other high-profile events.
