An undercover corporal became Nuttal's mentor. It wasn't just the material supplies of cash, cigarettes, groceries, cars, hotels, cell phones, logistical supplies and the inert bombs. The undercover cop was acting as a mentor to Nuttal. But more than that, Nuttal kept having reservations about the plan. The RCMP wanted him in Victoria for a recon mission, he wanted to visit family. They wanted him die for the cause, he said he had debts and couldn't do a true jihad. So the RCMP said they'd see about paying off what he owes...Nuttal didn't know his mentor was the RCMP the whole time, but it should have been clear to the undercover agent that he was sane enough not to kill himself. He kept coming up with barriers to a jihadist success and so the RCMP kept offering ways around those barriers.

Obama's Force Authorization is a Blank Check for War Worldwide

The president is requesting Congress to pass an authorization for the use of military force (AUMF) resolution against ISIS. Congress has not issued a similar resolution since 2002, when President Bush was given the authority to wage war against Iraq. The purpose of this resolution is to give official authority to the president to do the things that he has already been doing for the past six years. Seems strange but this is typical for Washington. President Obama’s claim is that he does not need this authority. He claims, as have all other recent presidents, that the authority to wage war in the Middle East has been granted by the resolutions passed in 2001, 2002, and by article II of the Constitution. To ask for this authority at this time is a response to public and political pressure.

It has been reported that the president is going to request that the authority limit the use of ground troops. However it would not affect the troops already engaged in Syria and Iraq to the tune of many thousands. This new authority will acknowledge that more advisors will be sent. Most importantly it will appear to have given moral sanction to the wars that have already been going for years.

Interestingly it actually expands the ability of the president to wage war although the president publicly indicates he would like to restrain it. The new authorization explicitly does not impose geographic limits on the use of troops anywhere in the world and expands the definition of ISIS to that of all “associated forces.” A grant of this authority will do nothing to limit our dangerous involvement in these constant Middle East wars.

Parents of capitol bombing suspect accuse FBI of illegal setup

A litany of cases in which federal authorities find susceptible individuals and then push them into illegal plans exist, but in most terrorism prosecutions, little information about law enforcement’s role is never made publicly available. Could this be another example of the FBI entrapping a citizen?

Obama Declares War On ‘Extremism’ – Are You An ‘Extremist’ According To His Definition?

Do you know what an “extremist” is?  In the wake of the horrible terror attacks on the offices of Charlie Hebdo in France, Barack Obama is speaking very boldly about the need to win the war against “extremists”, and he has announced plans to host a major global summit on “extremism” next month.  And on the surface that sounds great.  But precisely how are we supposed to determine whether someone is an “extremist” or not?  What criteria should we use?

As you will see below, your definition of an “extremist” may be far, far different from the definition that Barack Obama is using.  When you do a Google search, you will find that an “extremist” is defined as “a person who holds extreme or fanatical political or religious views, especially one who resorts to or advocates extreme action.”  According to Wikipedia, “extremism” is “an ideology (particularly in politics or religion), considered to be far outside the mainstream attitudes of a society or to violate common moral standards.  Extremism can take many forms, including political, religious and economic.”

Please notice that neither of those definitions uses the word violence.  In this day and age, you can be considered an “extremist” simply based on what you believe, and as you will see later in this article there are now tens of millions of Americans that are considered to be “extremists” and “potential terrorists” according to official U.S. government documents.

Obama DOJ to Target “Root Causes of Violent Extremism”

On CBS’s Face the Nation today Attorney General Eric Holder stated that the Obama administration will host a summit on February 18 in Washington DC to address “the root causes” of incidents such as this week’s terrorist attacks in Paris. “‘Countering violent extremism’ is what we call it–[so] we can deal with the root causes of what it is that attracts these young men to these really negative ideological groups.”

Holder told Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer that the United States entered a “new phase” in the war on terror some time ago that specifically concerns “homegrown terrorism.”

In the latest attempt at misdirection by the mainstream media, the Associated Press has attempted to investigate and present a focus on Americans who become jihadist fighters in battlefields across the world such as Syria and Iraq and, eventually, the United States. 

In their article, “Tracing Shift From Everyday Americans To Jihadis,” The Associated Press writers present the profile of American jihadists as lonely, unhappy individuals feeling lost and hopeless in the land of the free and endless entertainment. These individuals are simply unable to get on board with Americas war on the Middle East and become radicalized by those preaching jihad in mosques around the world. The sermons simply make sense to these people, the AP writers claim, and a jihadi is soon born. 

For instance, they write,

House Passes Bill To Arm Syrian Rebels Despite Evidence of ISIS Ties

In a 273-156 vote on Wednesday, the House of Representatives passed a bill which approved of President Barrack Obama’s $500 million plan to arm and train Syrian rebel forces.

The bill is expected to pass the Senate when it arrives there on Thursday to solidify the President's goal of dismantling the ISIS “threat.”

It must be assumed that Congress has their heads so far in the sand that they missed the extensive reporting that has documented the ties between ISIS and the so called “moderate” rebel forces that the Obama administration is so hell bent on arming.

It is now being reported by Breitbart that suddenly, "Nearly fifty senior commanders of a major coalition of Islamic 'moderates' opposed to ISIS in Syria have been killed by an explosion at their secret command bunker as they met to discuss strategy against the the Islamic State," just a day after Obama vowed to fight ISIS in Syria...

So who exactly is Obama writing all those checks to again anyway?

If this doesn't tell you how scripted this whole situation is, we aren't sure what will. How is the average person even keeping straight who the real enemy here is?

Watch What You Buy: DHS to Guide Retailers in Spotting Terrorists

Homeland Security Secretary, Jeh Johnson, announced that the Department of Homeland Security will be giving retailers guidance on how to spot a potential terrorist based on what a customer buys. The Washington Times reports: 

While saying the government cannot prohibit sales of some everyday materials, Mr. Johnson said retailers should be trained to look for anyone who buys a lot from what he described as a “long list of materials that could be used as explosive precursors.” 

He said it was an extension of the “If you see something, say something” campaign launched by his predecessor, former Secretary Janet Napolitano, which tries to enlist average Americans to be aware of their immediate environment. 

“We can’t and we shouldn’t prohibit the sale of a pressure cooker. We can sensitize retail businesses to be on guard for suspicious behavior by those who buy this kind of stuff,” Mr. Johnson said during a question-and-answer session after a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations.
