The Obama Family Goes on a Much-Needed Vacation…Again

The Obama family needs a vacation. After all, it’s been almost a month since they returned from the $100 million taxpayer-funded African safari. (Yep, that’s right – ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS.)

Since then, the President has been busy trying to browbeat other countries into turning over Ed Snowden and spending a great deal of time involving himself in the case of George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. It’s hard work being the driving force behind an assault on privacy while also maintaining a position as the Race-Baiter-in-Chief.

The First Lady must also be exhausted. After all, she threw a joint party on the 4th of July for her daughter’s birthday and for Independence Day. The entertaining duties didn’t stop there, as she threw a “Kids' State Dinner” after she selected the winner of a healthy recipe contest that the kids had participating.

Obama Blocks Snowden's Asylum

On July 12, Russia Today (RT) headlined "US 'blocks my asylum:' Snowden human rights activists to airport meeting," saying:

Snowden remains stuck. He's in limbo. He's at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. He's in its transit area. A source told Interfax he'll meet with human rights organizations late Friday.

Airport spokeswoman Anna Zakharenkova said she "can confirm that such a meeting will take place."

Snowden invited a UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) representative, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Transparency International and Poland's Krido Legal. Moscow officials weren't asked to come.

Powerful forces can rather easily launch manufactured candidates into the political arena, even from scratch. An astounding example is found in Obama’s REAL first speech campaigning for the presidency – back in 2004.



As if in a magician’s routine, it has been repeatedly proved that crafted rhetoric and astroturf buzz is enough to generate energy and emotion in a crowd – enough to convince masses of people to vote blindly for a candidate they know little to nothing about, but who carries themselves in a convincing manner. Propagandists and press relations boast big claims about shallow people with bounding ambition.

Obama is a prime example. He entered the national stage as the keynote speaker of the Democratic National Convention in 2004, at a time when he’d only held office at the state level, and wooed crowds as a hailed “rising star” already promising “hope” to a troubled generation. He was stumping for John Kerry, now his Secretary of State, and was introduced as a rising political star by Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State before that. None have made good on promises of peace, restoring civil liberties, ending the wars or bringing home the troops.

President Obama’s Newest Executive Order: There Goes the Internet

Have you heard about the recent Presidential Executive Order (PEO) that will shut down all communications, including the Internet? What could not be done by valid legislation passed by Congress, in effect has been done by executive privilege fiat. However, nowhere does the U.S. Constitution give one-man rule powers to any president. But, what is the U.S. Constitution anymore? Isn’t it an old junk piece of paper that’s to be treated as if it were some ‘pie-in-the-sky’ dream from centuries back? Haven’t you heard talk about revamping it; bringing it up to date; or even scuttling it? My, what will they think of next?

Coming up to speed on the current PEO obsession, Barack Hussein Obama has issued over 150 PEOs from January 22, 2009 until June 3, 2013. It looks like Number 44 is getting his way. We might as well do away with Congress and the Supreme Court. We could save a bundle on high priced salaries, wouldn’t you say? Isn’t it interesting that the very first PEO, No. 13492, Mr. Obama executed was on the day after he was inaugurated? That ought to make one wonder, “What were we thinking when we elected a person who does not want any of his personal information divulged?” So much for the transparency plank of his presidential candidacy platform; it was nothing more than wet sawdust! 

We have to question if his very first PEO precludes Mr. Obama’s phones, computers, and other personal information from the same surveillance every U.S. citizen is subjected to? Good question?

Economic growth from the first quarter may have just gone boom as American wages collapse and the prospects for jobs continue to deteriorate, but one industry is breaking records without fail every month.

Firearms manufacturer Smith and Wesson reported a 37% increase in sales year-over-year, with President James Debney noting that demand for product isn’t waning and production capacity is the only bottleneck (so, if they had more manufacturing plants, sales would be even higher).

On June 19, 2013, US President Obama, hoping to raise himself above the developing National Security Agency (NSA) spy scandals, sought to associate himself with two iconic speeches made at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.

Fifty years ago, President John F. Kennedy pledged: “Ich bin ein Berliner”. In 1987, President Ronald Reagan challenged: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”

Obama’s speech was delivered to a relatively small, specially selected audience of invitees.  Even so, Obama spoke from behind bullet proof glass.

Obama’s speech will go down in history as the most hypocritical of all time. Little wonder that the audience was there by invitation only. A real audience would have hooted Obama out of Berlin.

Obama was secretly recorded during the 2012 election, saying that "the powers that be want it to be Romney...and it looks like that's what it's going to be."

Referring to how Ron Paul was obviously robbed in Maine, Obama says "Look what they did up in Maine...They wanted Paul out of the picture quickly, and we all know what happened there."

And to confirm that he's part of the "Powers That Be", he says "I can't say I blame them."

"Well, it's a moot point now anyhow. He's done," Obama said apparently referring to Ron Paul's hopes after the GOP engaged in outright fraud to ensure a victory for Romney.

Obama represents the worst of rogue leadership. He's a war criminal multiple times over. He's guilty of numerous other crimes. He belongs in prison, not high office.

On May 24, he addressed Naval Academy graduates. Why any showed up they'll have to explain. So does why those doing so didn't diss him.

The 2013 graduates include 1,047 men and women. Nearly three-fourths are navy ensigns. The others are marine lieutenants, three air force ones, and 16 foreign exchange students.

Midshipmen are required to take an Oath of Office, stating:

Having been appointed a midshipman in the United States Navy, do you solemnly swear (or affirm) that you will support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that you will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that you take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that you will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which you are about to enter, so help you God.

Key is supporting, respecting and abiding by constitutional principles. They include all US ratified treaties and conventions. They're automatically US law under the Constitution's Supremacy Clause (Article VI, Clause 2). Supporting a war criminal president constitutes a flagrant violation. Perhaps Naval Academy instruction omits fundamental rule of law principles.

His crimes of war, against humanity and genocide go unmentioned.

His partnership with Israel against Palestine isn't explained. His systematic disdain for rule of law principles gets ignored.

7 Essential Questions You’ll Never Hear at the Debates

Sadly, you could also title this article “The Most Important Questions That Need to be Asked.” Today, our debates are merely a stage upon which candidates can exchange quips or attempt to act presidential. Most important issues are never discussed and those mentioned have little depth. 

Before we list some of the questions that should be asked, a brief history of national debates is required. When historians cite the classic debate style, they are usually referring to a series of US Senate debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas. In that case, each debate was typically three hours long, with the candidates delivering lengthy policy speeches. 

While three hours was the norm, in at least one instance in 1854, Lincoln and Douglas debated for a total of seven hours. Douglas went first, delivering a three-hour policy speech, followed by another three-hour speech by Lincoln. The debate concluded with a relatively brief one-hour rebut from Douglas. These debates were closely read throughout the nation and eventually lead to Lincoln’s nomination for President in 1860. 

How many among us can tolerate an hour-and-a-half debate between President Obama and Governor Romney?

Back during the George W. Bush neocon regime, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela in his UN speech summed up George W. Bush for the world. I am quoting Chavez from memory, not verbatim. “Yesterday standing at this same podium was Satan himself, speaking as if he owned the world. You can still smell the sulfur.” 

Chavez is one of the American right-wing’s favorite bogymen, because Chavez helps the people instead of bleeding them for the rich, which is Washington’s way.

While Washington has driven all but the one percent into the ground, Chavez cut poverty in half, doubled university enrollment, and provided health care and old age pensions to millions of Venezuelans for the first time. Little wonder he was elected to a fourth term as president despite the many millions of dollars Washington poured into the election campaign of Chavez’s opponent. 

While Washington and the EU preach neoliberalism – the supremacy of capital over labor – South American politicians who reject Washington’s way are being elected and reelected in Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Bolivia.

The elephants and donkeys deserve the bird! Obama and Romney have forsaken the American Dream. They hardly disagree at all on the important issues. What will they debate?

A declaration is an affirmation. Independence means self-government. They could have called The Declaration of Independence, The Affirmation of Self-Government! 

Gary Johnson and Judge Jim Gray are the only choice to Save the American Dream: Self-Government, freedom from big government tyranny and oppression.... and to Restore Justice, the guardian of Liberty! The people believe in self-government and self-medication.

All who follow a code of ethics or principles are self-governors. Our system is meant to protect the self-governors from those without ethics and principles, perpetrators of fraud, rape and violence. The state does not run the affairs of people in a free society. It upholds justice between people who conduct their own affairs.

A vote for Obama will bring war with Syria, Iran, and eventually Russia and China. The economy will continue to suffer in order to bolster the interests of off-shore corporate-financier interests, while the collective prospects of Americans continue to whither and blow away. A vote for Romney, however, will also bring war with Syria, Iran, and eventually Russia and China. The economy will also continue to suffer in order to bolster the interests of off-shore corporate-financier interests, while the collective prospects of Americans continue to whither and blow away. Why?

Because the White House is but a public relations front for the corporate-financier interests of Wall Street and London. A change of residence at the White House is no different than say, British Petroleum replacing its spokesman to superficially placate public opinion; when, in reality, the exact same board of directors, overall agenda, and objectives remain firmly in place. Public perception then is managed by, not the primary motivation of, corporate-financier interests. 

It is the absolute folly to believe that multi-billion dollar corporate-financier interests would subject their collective fate to the whims of the ignorant, uninformed, and essentially powerless voting masses every four years. Instead, what plays out every four years is theater designed to give the general public the illusion that they have some means of addressing their grievances without actually ever changing the prevailing balance of power in any meaningful way.

What a depressing choice the American people are being presented with this year. We are at a point in our history where we desperately need a change of direction in the White House, and we are guaranteed that we are not going to get it. The Democrats are running the worst president in American history, and the Republicans are running a guy who is almost a carbon copy of him.

The fact that about half the country is still supporting Barack Obama shows how incredibly stupid and corrupt the American people have become. No American should have ever cast a single vote for Barack Obama for any political office under any circumstances.

Obama should never have even been the assistant superintendent in charge of janitorial supplies, much less the president of the United States.

The truth is that Barack Obama has done such a horrible job that he should immediately resign along with his entire cabinet. But instead of giving us a clear choice, the Republicans nominated the Republican that was running that was most similar to Barack Obama. In fact, I don't think we have ever had two candidates for president that are so similar. Yes, there are a few minor differences between them, but the truth is that we are heading into Obama's second term no matter which one of them gets elected. The mainstream media makes it sound like Obama and Romney are bitter ideological rivals but that is a giant lie. Yeah, they are slinging lots of mud at each other, but they both play for the same team and the losers are going to be the American people.

Should Obama And Congress Be Arrested Under The NDAA?

Welcome to the beautiful and surreal reality of life under American corporatism, under a Congress that churns out thousands  and thousands of pages of (often contradictory) legislation a year.

If providing material assistance to al-Qaeda is illegal under the National Defence Authorization Act (2012), and Obama and Congress are sending $25 million of aid to al-Qaeda-affiliated Syrian opposition, aren’t Congress and President Obama violating their own law? Should Obama (or at least the Justice Department) not be using “all necessary and appropriate force” including “the power to indefinitely detain” to prevent Obama and Congress from assisting al-Qaeda? Did anyone in Congress or the Obama administration even bother to read the law that they were signing? Do Federal laws no longer apply to lawmakers?

The only question left from this abrupt and absurd turnaround — from funding bin Laden’s mujahideen thirty years ago, to ten years ago declaring war on al-Qaeda, to today sending them material assistance — would appear to be whether or not Obama will pull a 1984 and claim that “we have always been at war with Eurasia“.
