It Is Official: The US Is a Police State

On September 24, Jason Ditz reported on Antiwar.com that “the FBI is confirming that this morning they began a number of raids against the homes of antiwar activists in Illinois, Minneapolis, Michigan, and North Carolina, claiming that they are ‘seeking evidence relating to activities concerning the material support of terrorism.’”

Now we know what Homeland Security (sic) secretary Janet Napolitano meant when she said on September 10: “The old view that ‘if we fight the terrorists abroad, we won’t have to fight them here’ is just that – the old view.” The new view, Napolitano said, is “to counter violent extremism right here at home.”

“Violent extremism” is one of those undefined police state terms that will mean whatever the government wants it to mean. In this morning’s FBI’s foray into the homes of American citizens of conscience, it means antiwar activists, whose activities are equated with “the material support of terrorism,” just as conservatives equated Vietnam era anti-war protesters with giving material support to communism.

Anti-war activist Mick Kelly whose home was raided, sees the FBI raids as harassment to intimidate those who organize war protests. I wonder if Kelly is underestimating the threat. The FBI’s own words clearly indicate that the federal police agency and the judges who signed the warrants do not regard antiwar protesters as Americans exercising their Constitutional rights, but as unpatriotic elements offering material support to terrorism.

“Material support” is another of those undefined police state terms. In this context the term means that Americans who fail to believe their government’s lies and instead protest its policies, are supporting their government’s declared enemies and, thus, are not exercising their civil liberties but committing treason.

As this initial FBI foray is a softening up move to get the public accustomed to the idea that the real terrorists are their fellow citizens here at home, Kelly will get off this time. But next time the FBI will find emails on his computer from a “terrorist group” set up by the CIA that will incriminate him. Under the practices put in place by the Bush and Obama regimes, and approved by corrupt federal judges, protesters who have been compromised by fake terrorist groups can be declared “enemy combatants” and sent off to Egypt, Poland, or some other corrupt American puppet state – Canada perhaps – to be tortured until confession is forthcoming that antiwar protesters and, indeed, every critic of the US government, are on Osama bin Laden’s payroll.

Almost every Republican and conservative and, indeed, the majority of Americans will fall for this, only to find, later, that it is subversive to complain that their Social Security was cut in the interest of the war against Iran or some other demonized entity, or that they couldn’t have a Medicare operation because the wars in Central Asia and South America required the money.

Americans are the most gullible people who ever existed. They tend to support the government instead of the Constitution, and almost every Republican and conservative regards civil liberty as a coddling device that encourages criminals and terrorists.

The US media, highly concentrated in violation of the American principle of a diverse and independent media, will lend its support to the witch hunts that will close down all protests and independent thought in the US over the next few years. As the Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels said, “think of the press as a great keyboard on which the Government can play.”

An American Police State was inevitable once Americans let “their” government get away with 9/11. Americans are too gullible, too uneducated, and too jingoistic to remain a free people. As another Nazi leader Herman Goering said, “ The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. Tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peace-makers for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger.”

This is precisely what the Bush and Obama regimes have done. America, as people of my generation knew it, no longer exists.

A Logical look at September 11th, 2001

As stated in the title, let’s take a long hard logical look at 9/11. Look at the events and see them with a logical and open mind. Let us not use the same eyes filled with terror and dread as we did that day, but take a calm and logical approach to the events. We must step away from the shock and awe of the attacks, and the death that has resulted sense.

	There is no clear indication or even admission of guilt or claim of responsibility for the attacks on 9/11. Not even Mr. Osama Bin Laden has actually claimed the event.

Now first, let us take a view of the individuals we were told committed the attacks. We are told that these men were fundamental extremist, bent on instilling fear and terror by killing Americans by the thousands. We are told by history, that these individuals, Muslim Extremist, are deeply religious and have an absolutely religious view in everything they do. Now these Muslim extremist are notorious for concealing themselves right up until the times of their attack.

Here in lies the problem with these particular individuals. You see, these men did not conceal or hide themselves, or their actions, in any way whatsoever. It is common knowledge, or should be to a well informed individual, that these men often consumed alcohol and visited sexually explicit establishments. Some of these individuals actually used credit cards in their own names, and made no attempt to “lay low” or “stay off the radar”. They did all they could to attract attention. Some of these people would go on to apply for government loans and often asked about the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. These men were flashy, by a very liberal use of the word. Individuals who encountered them clearly remember them.

Now, if we are to use history to decide if these men are actually who we are told they are, then they do not fit the profile of Muslim Extremist! These men often broke sacred Muslim laws and traditions while here supposedly planning their mission. In no way were these men devout Muslims. If history is our guide and judge as to what a Muslim Extremist is, then these men were most assuredly NOT, Muslim Extremist.

Now true martyrs to a cause would have humbly carried out their day to day lives and duties in preparation for the attack. After all, the Martyrs group or affiliation is left to claim the attack. Yet on 9/11 there is no clear indication or even admission of guilt or claim of responsibility for the attacks on 9/11. Not even Mr. Osama Bin Laden has actually claimed the event.

So, do these individuals logically and historically fit the profile of Devout Muslim Extremist set to die for the glory of Islam? I would say not.

Now, let us view with logic and reason the actions of our own FAA and NORAD on the day of September 11th, 2001. We have been told for over fifty years now that these organizations were put in place to guide and protect the skies of the United States. For years both of these organizations have grown into very well respected and dependable institutions. We have erected these very agencies for the purpose of keeping track of aircraft, and keeping the skies of America safe. We have poured billions of dollars and given the most advanced weapons on the face of the Earth to these organizations, in hopes they could stave off any disaster over American skies. It is public knowledge of how easy it is for the FAA to have NORAD intercept errant aircraft in a matter of minutes. It had worked this way every day before 9/11. Yet for all this, we are told that all that was put into place to protect us, failed!

Now let’s look at the reasons why we are told all of these systems failed. Remember to look at what is being said, and the actions of the day, with logic, reason and calm. Now the FAA claims to have lost contact with civilian airliners over American airspace for in some cases up to 10 to 15 min, before any action was taken. It does not matter which plane or where. We are looking at overall actions and not specific information. No, these aircraft would proceed, unimpeded by the FAA for quite some time, before they actually called the military and told them they had lost airliners!

Logically, this is impossible. You see, the FAA, as well as NORAD, have very strict and strident rules in regards to lost contact with aircraft. Controllers are well versed and trained in these procedures. Within minutes of lost contact, the military is informed and action is taken. This is the way that it has worked for years, before 9/11 that is. On this day it seems that all forms of procedure and protocol were slack, or nonexistent.

Now does this seem logical, or even remotely possible? My logic, and common knowledge, tell me no.

NORAD is the institution directly responsible for the defense of North American airspace. They are equipped with the most advanced aerial tracking system known to man. This organization can track, and could on 9/11 as well, real time airborne objects over any area of the continental United States. I mean, this is the heart and soul, as well as the last line of defense for our nation. Yet on 9/11, the military was conducting multiple, overlapping, war games which spanned every agency across the American defense grid, at the same time. Now it was these very war games which supposedly crippled the entire defense grid for almost an hour, allowing the attacks to be concluded.

To even consider, that there were individuals in the United States military command that would be stupid enough to schedule events in such a way, that it utterly cripples the entire defense network, is an absolute insult to the intelligence of the American citizen! I mean, the scenario defies even simple belief, let alone logic. If we are expected to accept this as the actual truth as to the military, and the civilian commands, explanation as to their lack of action, then they believe we must truly be a nation of retarded avatars!

Finally, we come to the ultimate results of the military and civil commands inability, or lack of willingness to act. Two of the most powerful, over engineered buildings ever built, crumble to a fine powder as a result of plane impact damage and fire. Then watch a building, not hit by a plane, and sustaining marginal damage from the collapse of the towers and a few scattered fires, descend straight down into its own footprint in roughly 6 seconds. I refer to the very little know, and never shown again since by main stream media outlets, Building 7, or Salomon Brothers Bldg.

Now remember, look at it logically, without the shock and awe you felt that day. We have seen two large aircraft impact two large buildings and large fireballs erupting after each impact. We can see the damage to the face of the buildings where the planes hit, and we watch the towers pour out black smoke for 45 min. In no way do we see at any time after impact, any fires that could be called infernos that ravaged the unprotected steel. We do not see intense heat coming out of the towers from invisible internal fires that ultimately bring both towers down to the ground.

Now, logically you would expect that the men responsible for the design and construction of then the world’s tallest building would have accounted for the impact of modern jet liners. Well, they did. Actually, they designed them to withstand a fully loaded jetliner of the time at top speed. The aircraft that hit that day, weighed less, was flying slower, and only had half of the fuel load, of the planes the tower was specifically designed to survive. Logic would hold that the towers would have not only survived, but held strong until fires were out and repairs could begin.

Alas, this was sadly not the case as we all well know. For all of our technical achievements and great knowledge of our engineers, all the basic laws of common knowledge, physics, and logic seemed to have been absent this day. Yes, on this day, it would seem that hundreds, if not thousands of people seemed to put aside all their training and procedures, and let logical thought go for about 2 crucial hours when we needed them most. Yet, the entire apparatus was magically resurrected once the attacks were complete. These agencies which had just so utterly failed us, managed to guide, track, and land thousands upon thousands of civilian jetliners and completely clear the entire American sky of all objects, in little more time than it took the terrorist to carry out their mission.

Now good reader I ask you, does any of the explanations regarding 9/11 given to us by the administration at the time, and carried on in the present, have any basis in logic, or reason? I would say not.

Shut Up! You’re Disturbing the Elite

So many warnings, so many solutions, and so many people who couldn’t care less.

LONG AGO: A man named Noah (the conspiracy theorist of his time) warns his people that a great flood is fast approaching.  His preparations for the event are largely dismissed as crazy, and he is constantly the subject of ridicule and mockery.  Even as the heavy rains turn torrential; the people continue to laugh, eat, drink and dance…right up until the water level rises high enough to sweep them all away.

1912: As the RMS Titanic takes on water; word spreads among the passengers that they must prepare to abandon ship.  Many refuse to board lifeboats because they are convinced that the vessel cannot sink.  Some stay in the lounges to socialize while others return to their cabins and fall fast asleep.  The lifeboats aboard the Titanic have the capacity to accommodate 2/3 of the passengers, but many of them are sent away nearly empty because some people refuse to take the crisis seriously.

1913: While treasonous politicians conspire to relinquish control of the U.S. economy over to European central banks; Congressman Charles Lindbergh, Sr. warns:

“This Act [the Federal Reserve Act, Dec. 23rd 1913] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Woodrow Wilson] signs the Bill; the invisible government of the Monetary Power will be legalized. The people may not know it immediately, but the day of reckoning is only a few years removed. The worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency Bill.  The new law will create inflation whenever the trusts want inflation. From now on, depressions will be scientifically created.”

His warning is ignored, and by 1929, America falls victim to its first “scientifically created”depression.

PRESENT DAY: The United States has entered into yet another “scientifically created”depression—brought about by the same unsound money policies—controlled by the same corrupt banking cartels.

Somewhere in America; a young man wearing an “End the Fed” T-shirt stands alone—across the street from a Federal Reserve Bank—shouting the prophetic words of Thomas Jefferson through an amplified bullhorn:

Many passersby snicker while others stop to stare.  A marked police cruiser pulls to the curb and demands that the young man leave the public sidewalk.  He reminds the officer of his first amendment right of free speech and peaceful assembly.  The officer reminds him that he couldn’t care less.  He pulls a Taser from his utility belt and fires two probes into the boy’s chest—sending him to the ground—where is subdued, and then loaded into the backseat of the cruiser before being hauled away.

Among the gathering crowd, few gasp in disbelief but are afraid to say a word.  Others point and laugh while the rest join in a morbid cacophony of cheers and applause.

It is a scene that is becoming far too common.  Across America, peaceful dissent and protest is being met with brute force, while ordinary citizens stand on the sidelines watching in amusement as the face of their fellow countrymen meet the stamping boot of the police state.

The Constitution has become a relic, and those who live by it are becoming a nuisance to those who would like to see it torn to shreds.  Word has come down from on high that these protests must end.  A new strategy to quell dissent is being deployed through mainstream media personalities, who have been given orders to reign in their flocks by controlling and limiting their mode of expression.

In the days leading up to Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally, the self-described rodeo clown instructed attendees not to bring signs or posters.  Most complied, some chose instead to bring flags or dress up in colorful “period piece” costumes.

Weeks later, in a two minute segment of his Fox television program, Beck addressed his obedient flock and pleaded for them to abandon their signs and costumes altogether.  He referenced a new website by Think Progress, which Beck alledges was launched, “forthe sole purpose of making you in to the crazy costume person, the racist or the conspiracy theorist. They are going to try to make you into anything that you are not.”

Instead of encouraging his viewers to be discriminating in the signs they hoist or the clothes they wear, he suggested that his viewers give in to the criticism.   Beck told his people to, “Dress normally” and to, “Take the signs down.”

He then shared about a conversation he had with his daughter, who suggested that she really didn’t care what people said about her clothing.  His fatherly response to her was, “well, other people do,” andthen concluded by suggesting that the lesson for the day was: “Don’t give the media even a chance to typecast you.”

This is a clever psy-op using lots of double speak.  Beck is actually conditioning his people to be shamed over the use of signs, loud speech and clothing with political statements.  By instructing his people to avoid criticism, he is actually projecting that he concurs with the criticism itself.

Once these people accept that this behavior is a social faux pas, they too will join into the criticism and demonization of those who hold signs, use bullhorns or wear T-shirts with statements like “9/11 Was an Inside Job,” or “Don’t Tread on Me.”

Beck also suggested to his viewers that instead of bringing signs, they should bring their children.   This is an even more sinister plan.  The idea here is to use children as a tool to further demonize protestors.  At certain events, Beck’s “quiet” minions will show up—with their sons or daughters in tow—and confront more passionate demonstrators and remind them to, “Keep it down– children are present.” I’m sure you can envision how that will look on the evening news.

But this strategy to quell dissent is not confined to the establishment right.  The establishment left has its own plan, ripped straight from the pages of leftist icon Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.”   Rule #5 of that book states:

“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”

On October 30, 2010—the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert of the Colbert Report will be staging duel rallies in Washington D.C. to spoof Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally and the Tea Party movement in general.

While we all enjoy good satire from time to time—even when the ribbing is done at our expense—these particular events should not be merely taken at face value.

The home page for Jon Stewart’s “Rally To Restore Sanity,” describes the event as,

“…a rally for the people who’ve been too busy to go to rallies, who actually have lives and families and jobs (or are looking for jobs)… Think of our event as Woodstock, but with the nudity and drugs replaced by respectful disagreement.”

Respectful disagreement?  This is sure a stark contrast to the liberal left that pioneered the explosive, ‘in-your-face’ anti-war, anti-fascist movement of the 1960’s and 70’s.  Today, the liberals seem to have no time for that.  But apparently some will at least be able to find the time to attend a mock rally of tomfoolery that serves no other purpose than to further alienate the left from the right.

The page goes on to read, “We’re looking for the people who think shouting is annoying, counterproductive, and terrible for your throat…bring your indoor voice”

Yeah, God forbid that we annoy our oppressors with our grievances or scratch our throats while exercising our first amendment rights.  The reason we’re in the mess we’re in is because too many people have been using their “indoor voice” for too many years.   Silence and complacency are the only things that are counterproductive.  I shutter to think what might have happened if Paul Revere had been stopped midway through his midnight ride and convinced that his “shouting” was “annoying” and “counterproductive.”

The liberals have lost their mojo when it comes to demonstrations.  Their recent attempts to counter the Tea Party movement with a Coffee Party movement have thus far been an epic failure.  During the Bush years, there was at least some semblance of an anti-war movement.  But as soon as Obama took office, that all but disappeared.

The popularity and effectiveness of Town Hall confrontations and Tea Party demonstrations has overshadowed the liberal voice.  Now, they are turning to more drastic measures by using ridicule to shame and silence their opposition.

Even some Tea Party groups, who many believe are free of establishment control, are starting to sound like they have been co-opted, and are preaching the same rhetoric as Glenn Beck.

Amy Kremer, chairman of the Tea Party Express, recently said, “The time has come for us to put down the protest signs and pick up the campaign signs and get engaged.  We have stood on the sidelines for long enough protesting.”

So now we have both the establishment left and right working in concert to stifle the steadfast American tradition of dissent.  The right will be cordial, the left will laugh and the criminals in our government will have nice quiet streets to travel down as they take this country straight to Hell.

Global Warming Alarmist Calls For Eco-Gulags To Re-Educate Climate Deniers

Finnish philosopher says oppressive and brutal government should exert “tireless control of citizens” in shocking insight into threat of eco-fascism movement – Linkola openly calls for Nazi-style mass extermination policies to “kill defectives”

A Finnish environmentalist guru has gone further than any other global warming alarmist in openly calling for fascism as a necessary step to save the planet from ecological destruction, demanding that climate change deniers be “re-educated” in eco-gulags and that the vast majority of humans be killed with the rest enslaved and controlled by a green police state, with people forcibly sterilized, cars confiscated and travel restricted to members of the elite.

Philosopher Pentti Linkola has built an enthusiastic following of self-described “eco-fascists” receptive to his message that the state should enact draconian measures of “discipline, prohibition, enforcement and oppression” in order to make people comply with environmental dictates.

Linkola’s barbaric and dictatorial philosophy has remained relatively obscure but is now gaining traction as the mask of environmentalism is lifted to unveil its true nature – a justification for 21st century tyranny on a grand scale, characterized by eugenics, sterilization, gulags, police states, and total government control over every aspect of our existence.

Linkola’s doctrine is more extreme, repulsive, and threatening to liberty than anything carried out by history’s worst dictators, Hitler, Stalin and Mao – combined. Indeed, Linkola laments that such monsters didn’t go far enough in wiping out many more millions of people.

Under Linkola’s proposal to save earth from man-made climate change, “only a few million people would work as farmers and fishermen, without modern conveniences such as the automobile.” This system would be enforced by the creation of a “Green Police” who would abandon “the syrup of ethics” that governs human behavior to completely dominate the population.

Linkola calls for forced abortions, while also adding that another world war would be “a happy occasion for the planet” because it would eradicate tens of millions of people. The environmentalist believes that only jackbooted tyranny can help to save mother earth from “the worst ideologies in the world” which he defines as “growth and freedom”.

“Any dictatorship would be better than modern democracy,” he writes. “There cannot be so incompetent dictator, that he would show more stupidity than a majority of the people. Best dictatorship would be one where lots of heads would roll and government would prevent any economical growth.”

Those who refuse to be enslaved by Linkola’s new eco-tyranny would be abducted and sent to the mountains for “re-education” in eco-gulags, according to the environmentalist, who says that the only solution “lies in a centralised government and the tireless control of citizens.”

As part of his eco-fascist hell, Linkola calls for ‘killing defectives’ by means of sterilization, licenses for births, tight regulation of electricity, forcing humans to eat rats, the confiscation of private cars, travel to be restricted to members of the elite only, and businesses to be terminated as the economy is entirely handed over to the control of the state.

The heart of Linkola’s dark philosophy revolves around the need to slaughter masses of humans. “If there were a button I could press, I would sacrifice myself without hesitating if it meant millions of people would die,” he writes.

“Who misses all those who died in the Second World War? Who misses the twenty million executed by Stalin? Who misses Hitler’s six million Jews?” asks Linkola.

It is impossible to accurately explain and quantify the sheer level of depravity exhibited within Linkola’s belief system. If these words were written by a crazed mass murderer then we’d at least be able to dismiss their import, but these horrendous doctrines are embraced by a prominent environmentalist whose popularity is growing as the putrid tentacles of the eco-fascist movement grow into more areas of society and public discourse.

“We will have to…learn from the history of revolutionary movements — the national socialists, the Finnish Stalinists, from the many stages of the Russian revolution, from the methods of the Red Brigades — and forget our narcissistic selves,” writes Linkola, firmly entrenching his environmental activism in the political prism of Nazism and Stalinism.

Indeed, Linkola’s policies make Hitler and Stalin look like fair-minded humanitarians.

Read Linkola’s loving and human overpopulation analogy, which as we have documented, is a contrived problem debunked by the UN’S own population statistics.

“What to do, when a ship carrying a hundred passengers suddenly capsizes and only one lifeboat? When the lifeboat is full, those who hate life will try to load it with more people and sink the lot. Those who love and respect life will take the ship’s axe and sever the extra hands that cling to the sides of the boat.”

In reality, by 2020 population will stabilize and by 2050 the global population will start to decline at an alarming rate, with the replacement rate for humans dropping below 2.1. Linkola’s bloodthirsty desire to see the human surplus brutally culled has more in common with the discredited pseudo-philosophy of Malthus than it does any basis in scientific fact.

As we have documented, although not going quite as far as Linkola, the eco-fascist movement is attracting prominent advocates, including James Lovelock, the creator of the Gaia hypothesis.Lovelock told the Guardian earlier this year that “democracy must be put on hold” to combat global warming and that “a few people with authority” should be allowed to run the planet.

This sentiment was echoed by author and environmentalist Keith Farnish, who in a recent book called for acts of sabotage and environmental terrorism in blowing up dams and demolishing cities in order to return the planet to the agrarian age. Prominent NASA global warming alarmist and Al Gore ally Dr. James Hansen endorsed Farnish’s book.

Linkola concurs with Farnish and Hansen, writing, “Everything we have developed over the last 100 years should be destroyed.”

Another prominent figure in the climate change debate who exemplifies the violent and death-obsessed belief system of the movement is Dr. Eric R. Pianka, an American biologist based at the University of Texas in Austin. During a speech to the Texas Academy of Science in March 2006, Pianka advocated the need to exterminate 90% of the world’s population through the airborne ebola virus. The reaction from scores of top scientists and professors in attendance was not one of shock or revulsion – they stood and applauded Pianka’s call for mass genocide.

The current White House science czar John P. Holdren also advocates the most obscenely dictatorial, eco-fascist, and inhumane practices in the name of environmentalism. In his 1977 Ecoscience textbook, Holdren calls for a “planetary regime” to carry out forced abortions and mandatory sterilization procedures, as well as drugging the water supply, in an effort to cull the human surplus.

Linkola has outstripped even notorious murder mastermind Charles Manson in his hatred for the human race. During prison interviews, Manson routinely spoke of his belief that around 50 million humans should be slaughtered for the good of the planet, whereas Linkola and his fans simply believe that humanity should cease to exist in its entirety. A fan site dedicated to Linkola includes links to his articles which have headlines like “Extinguish Humans, Save the World”.

Like Manson, Linkola has become a respected environmentalist guru for a new cult of believers who feel that governments and global institutions are not being ruthless enough in enforcing overdue measures to save the Earth from ecological destruction.

“Linkola has built an environmentalist following by calling for an authoritarian, ecological regime that ruthlessly suppresses consumers,” writes the Guardian’s Micah White, adding that Linkola has “opened the way for a wave of fascist environmentalists who reject democratic freedom.”

Another Finnish environmentalist writer, Martin Kreiggeist, hails Linkola’s call for eco-gulags and oppression as “a solution,” calling for people to “take up the axes” in pursuit of killing off the third world. Kreiggeist wants fellow eco-fascists to “act on” Linkola’s call for mass murder in order to solve overpopulation.

Linkola himself openly calls for violence to further the cause of eco-fascism. “A minority can never have any other effective means to influence the course of matters but through the use of violence,” he writes.

While governments around the world continue to harass innocent citizens and define peaceful political action as domestic terrorism, people like Linkola, Pianka and others, along with their growing legion of followers, are left alone despite their open call for violence and genocide.

Given the fact that cult followers of these extremist fringe environmentalists, people like Discovery Channel building gunman James Jay Lee, are now starting to act out on their guru’s doctrines with violence, it’s high time that radical global warming alarmists who are calling for mass murder and fascism be investigated by the relevant authorities as potential terrorists.

However, it’s a forlorn hope when one understands that Linkola’s tyrannical and abhorrent belief system is merely an extension of the eugenicist doctrines being promoted by some of the most powerful people on the planet who, backed by an equally enthusiastic establishment media, are now brazenly dispensing with tip-toe tyranny and are openly calling for mass death and dictatorship under the guise of stopping climate change.

The establishment points fingers all day long at all manner of political groups to smear them as a threat, while monsters like Linkola and Pianka who advocate the most dangerous and obscene ideas imaginable are lauded and afforded respect by their peers and their growing band of lunatic followers, who are all too eager to act out on the barbarian “solutions” that are being encouraged in the name of environmentalism.

Protest Group Demands Investigation Into Homeland Security Spying

One of the Pennsylvania protest groups that was targeted for surveillance by Homeland Security as a possible terror threat has demanded an investigation into the scandal after Gov. Ed Rendell was forced to issue an apology and cancel a $108,000-a-year contract with the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response, the American-Israeli group that provided DHS with intelligence on pro-gas drilling, anti-war and Tea Party organizations.

“This has angered me more than anything so far,” Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition member Janine Dymond of Harding said Wednesday. “We’re not even against drilling. We’re against the regulation of this industry and the loss of our rights. But we’re labeled as potential terrorists.”

Governor Rendell apologized to the groups that were targeted, noting that protest was a constitutional right, but refused to fire Department of Homeland Security Director James F. Powers Jr.

“Obviously I’m thrilled that Rendell apologized and everything, but I still think (Powers) needs to be fired,” Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition co-founder Dr. Thomas Jiunta of Lehman Township said. “For people exercising their right to free speech and opinions about natural gas drilling to be put on the same level as terrorists is not only extreme, but unconscionable. I think there definitely needs to be an investigation.”

As we have documented for years, the true target of the domestic anti-terror apparatus has always been peaceful Americans who show much as the slightest interest in anything political or have any kind of grievance against the state whatsoever. Until consequences are brought to bare, and the whole culture of training police and federal authorities that American citizens are their enemy is irrevocably altered, peaceful protest groups will continue to be treated as terrorists.

During the Clinton years we saw numerous reports issued by the FBI and the Joint Terrorism Task Force that characterized the most banal and seemingly pro-American activities as signs of potential domestic terror. One advisory leaflet encouraged people to contact the JTTF if they came into contact with Americans who were “defenders of the US Constitution” or those who “make numerous references to the US Constitution”. Lone individuals were listed under the category “single issue terrorists”.

A Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Law Enforcement pamphlet issued in 2006identified buying baby formula, beer, wearing Levi jeans, carrying identifying documents like a drivers license and traveling with women or children, all as signs of potential terrorism. Being a “nice guy” was also a potential characteristic of a domestic terrorist, according to the document.

A Virginia training manual that also became public in 2006 and was used to help state employees recognize terrorists listed anti-government and property rights activists as terrorists and included binoculars, video cameras, paper pads and notebooks in a compendium of terrorist tools.

Authorities are already acting on the premise that anyone who is mildly political or talks about the Constitution is a potential terrorist.

In May 2008, a student of a large bible college in east Texas was accused by federal agents of committing an “act of terror and espionage” after he gave a talk to a group of Boy Scouts in which he encouraged them to educate themselves about the U.S. constitution.

In July 2007, the Kuhns, a North Carolina couple were terrorized by sheriff’s deputy Brian Scarborough, who broke into their house, assaulted them and then arrested the couple for the crime of flying an upside down U.S. flag.

In 2004, Kelly Rushing was charged with making “terroristic threats” after he handed out Alex Jones videos and recordings of a Congressman Ron Paul speech on C-Span to Lyon County, Kentucky officials and Kentucky State Trooper Lewis Dobbs.

These are just a handful of the plethora of cases we have covered where Americans are treated as terrorists simply for engaging in peaceful protest or merely routine behavior.

We have to understand that Homeland Security was explicitly set up and has been operating for the primary purpose of oppressing the American people since its inception. DHS is a hostile threat to the very bedrock of the country, the US Constitution, and until the entire organization is disbanded it will continue to trample on the rights of citizens from all political persuasions.

Justice Breyer Suggests “Globalization” Trumps First Amendment

Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer was indecisive when answering a question about whether or not Pastor Terry Jones’ proposed Koran burning was protected by free speech, suggesting that “globalization” now trumps the First Amendment in the eyes of lawmakers.

During an appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to promote his book, Breyer was asked by host George Stephanopoulos if Jones’ ability to broadcast his actions in an age of global media poses “a challenge” to the First Amendment.

“[W]hen we spoke several years ago, you talked about how the process of globalization was changing our understanding of the law,” Stephanopoulos began. “When you think about the Internet and when you think about the possibility that, you know, a pastor in Florida with a flock of 30 can threaten to burn the Koran, and that leads to riots and killings in Afghanistan, does that pose a challenge to the First Amendment—to how you interpret it? Does it change the nature of…what we can allow and protect?”

“Well, in a sense, yes; in a sense, no,” responded Breyer indecisively“People can express their views in debate, no matter how awful those views are — in debate, a conversation, people exchanging ideas. That’s the model so that, in fact, we are better informed when we cast that ballot.”

Breyer went on to say that while the “core values remain,” the application of the First Amendment can change over time.

Breyer compared Jones’ actions to yelling “fire” in a crowded theatre, an action not protected by the First Amendment by legal precedent because it could lead directly to violence and harm.

“And what is the crowded theater today?” Breyer asked. “What is being trampled to death?”

Whether you support or abhor the actions of Pastor Jones, his right to burn a book in public can hardly be compared to yelling “fire” in a crowded theater, which is an action clearly intended to cause mayhem and unrest, whereas Jones’ stated reason for burning the Koran is a form of protest against the ground zero mosque controversy.

Jones’ actions are clearly protected under the First Amendment because they represent a form of political protest.

As we have documented, the ground zero mosque controversy is clearly being contrived in an effort to goad extremists on both sides of the religious divide into committing acts of violence which then give authorities the pretext to crush everyone’s free speech.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is a globalist stooge, being a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and also having direct ties to a myriad of elitist organizations.

There is also a direct relationship between the group behind the mosque and CIA front companies, as well as the U.S. military.

This is about getting everybody at each other’s throats and provocateuring situations that demand the strong arm of the state to respond to the consequences of these artificially manufactured tensions. It is also about stoking resentment against Arabs to grease the skids for an expansion of war in the middle east.

Constitutionally speaking, the mosque should be allowed to be built and Pastor Jones should be free to burn the Koran, but this story goes far deeper than those surface issues because people on both sides of the debate are being deliberately manipulated into advocating positions that will only harm the liberty and livelihood of both Muslims and Christians in the long run.

O’Reilly Says 9/11 Truth Activists Are Dangerous Radicals

Bill O’Reilly is at it again. Remember when he called for squashing the First Amendment of Americans opposed to the illegal invasion of Iraq? “And it is our duty as loyal Americans to shut up once the fighting begins, unless — unless facts prove the operation wrong, as was the case in Vietnam,” said Bill on March 3, 2003.

Facts soon revealed that the neocons had bamboozled the nation into invading Iraq under false pretense, but we didn’t get a retraction from Bill. Now O’Reilly is characterizing 9/11 Truth activists as dangerous radicals.

Earlier this week, O’Reilly linked the Ground Zero imam Feisal Abdul Rauf — who worked with the FBI on its “counterterrorism” effort in March of 2003 and engages inconversations with the Council On Foreign Relations — to the “truther” Faiz Khan, a Muslim scholar and educator who was a first responder on September 11, 2001. Khan participated in two memorial services for the victims of 9/11 and is involved with the New York group Muslims Against Terrorism.

Bill O’Reilly would restrict Khan’s freedom of movement for his assertion that 9/11 was an inside job. Khan should not be “allowed within ten miles of Ground Zero,” said the Fox News teleprompter reader.

We can only assume that O’Reilly would extend this ban to all people who believe 9/11 was an inside job and possibly those who have reservations about the official fairy tale that pins the blame on Muslim cave-dwellers half way around the world.

According to a Zogby poll conducted in 2006, 42% of Americans believe the U.S. government and the 9/11 commission covered up the truth behind the attacks. Is it possible O’Reilly and Fox News consider millions of Americans to be dangerous radicals and would prevent them from traveling to Manhattan? Maybe a yellow star is in order?

Mary Katharine Ham, a scribe for the neocon house organ, the Weekly Standard, told O’Reilly Khan’s relationship with his “buddy” Feisal Abdul Rauf is “problematic” and Khan is making a “blatant excuse” for terrorism.

In other words, if you don’t accept the official government version of September 11 as gospel, you are a terrorism facilitator, at least according to the neocons who apparently also consider millions of Americans as little more than apologists for Islamic terror.

The hyped-up Ground Zero Mosque affair was designed not only to further demonize Muslims and create religious tension and spread xenophobia and thus promote the phony war on terror, it is also an effort to criminalize the 9/11 truth movement.

Fox News attempted to demonize the 9/11 truth movement earlier this year when the mental case John Patrick Bedell was killed outside of the Pentagon. On March 7, Fox’s Geraldo Rivera linked Bedell’s violent rampage to “truthers.” Rivera invited Alex Jones on his show to refute this absurd accusation.
