U.N. Agenda 21 Testing Ground: Malaysia's 10 Ideas For Sustainable Development

Dees Illustration
Kevin Samson

The full implementation of Agenda 21 is nearing completion as the global Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations are set on a 2015 timeline. There are already many hints available at the wide-scale transformation set to take place, as multiple locations in the United States continue doing battle with the arrival of sweeping bureaucratic code enforcement.

Agenda 21 is a U.N.-directed action plan that has so many tentacles, it is often difficult to see this creature in its entirety. Essentially, using the threat of climate change and overpopulation as core global concerns, a mountain of new regulations forcing local communities to adopt global directives will usher in global governance literally from the ground up.

The term Sustainable Development was first introduced to the world in the pages of a 1987 report (Our Common Future (300 page .pdf)) produced by the United Nations World Commission on Environmental and Development, authored by Gro Harlem Brundtland, VP of the World Socialist Party. The term was first offered as official UN policy in 1992, in a document called UN Sustainable Development Agenda 21 (351 page .pdf)), issued at the UN’s Earth Summit, today referred to simply as Agenda 21. (Source)

And here is a quote straight from the (Trojan) horse's mouth illustrating why we cannot ignore any aspect of Agenda 21 that rears its head ... even in parts of the world we feel disconnected from:

Agenda 21 proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented byevery person on Earth … it calls for specific changes in the activities of all people … Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced… ” Agenda 21: The Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet (Earthpress, 1993).
A firm outline has now been set for Malaysia by its local chapter of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Solutions Network. The press release below offers a strong indication of where the rest of the world is likely to end up unless we continue our pushback against this paramount threat to free humanity.

Strangling the City: How ‘Sustainable’ is Boxing in Freedom

Is the city building up or closing in?

Aaron Dykes

At least in Austin, it is thus: The city is moving in all around us; but look carefully, those amenities are boxing us in, not setting us free.

We made some comments about the Texas capital’s heavy dose of Agenda 21 in this mostly informal video that shows some of the city’s recent development:

So goes the nation, or is this just our local issue? By the appearances of America2050.org (driven by the Regional Plan Association and funded by both the Rockefeller Foundation and Ford Foundation) effort to create densely populated Megaregions across the country, I would wager the answer to be ‘yes.’ The plan would essentially double the population of existing metropolitan areas.

How Bill Clinton Forced Agenda 21 on America

Cassandra Anderson

A number of critics claim that Agenda 21 is not a treaty, so it is non-binding and that it is merely a paranoid conspiracy theory.

Agenda 21 is not a voluntary program. The smoking gun is Bill Clinton's Executive Order # 12852 in 1993, creating the President's Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD). Clinton's executive order bypassed Congress and forced taxes and restrictive policies on the American people.

Agenda 21 is the action plan to implement "sustainable development", a term coined by the United Nations that they define as "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

Sustainable development may sound nice, but in practice it aims for totalitarian control and depopulation as Clinton's President's Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) documents prove. Global warming is the excuse that is used.

Agenda 21 Indoctrination Going Global at Warp Speed

It is time to sound the alarm yet again on Agenda 21. Much of the focus of critical LA21 discussion has centered on its progress in the United States, but it too has been making rapid inroads into México, as to the rest of the planet.

Background - Regionalization
As we all know (or should be aware of), México is purported ground zero for the testing and total implementation of iris-scanning biometric identification technology according to Hoyos Group (formerly Global Rainmakers), which is set to eventually encompass the globe (their estimate is ten years).[1] Youth here will soon be obligated to receive national biometric ID cards with a view of moving on to the general population. This is all for our safety. Please try to ignore the fact the US agency, ATF, has been arming drug cartels with heavy weaponry.[2] Please also make an attempt to pretend you never heard drug cartels have been moving massive amounts of cocaine and heroin into the U.S. with the oversight of the DOJ, FBI, DEA and ICE.[3]

Harper and Obama’s recent agreement on the common security perimeter has stated the move to work “toward common technical standards for the collection, transmission, and matching of biometrics that enable the sharing of information on travellers in real time.”[4] We know that the 1980 Bilderberg report stated the goal of working toward a “North American common bloc” and that the 1989 US-CAN bilateral trade agreement added México into the mix in 1994 with NAFTA.[5] One can assume that the 2011 US-CAN common security perimeter will eventually add in a bit of Méxican spice to spruce things up. These developments also mirror the 2005 Council on Foreign Relations Task Force objectives.[6]

Agenda 21 in One Easy Lesson

Editor's Note: We should all do our best to be conscious of our personal impact on the environment, but we should not be forced into lifestyle modifications by the ruling elite. Environmentalists need to wake up because the movement has been hijacked by the toxic polluters themselves for very nefarious reasons.

Awareness of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development is racing across the nation as citizens in community after community are learning what their city planners are actually up to. As awareness grows, I am receiving more and more calls for tools to help activists fight back. Many complain that elected officials just won’t read detailed reports or watch long videos. “Can you give us something that is quick, and easy to read that we can hand out,” I’m asked.

So here it is. A one page, quick description of Agenda 21 that fits on one page. I’ve also included for the back side of your hand out a list of quotes for the perpetrators of Agenda 21 that should back up my brief descriptions.

A word of caution, use this as a starter kit, but do not allow it to be your only knowledge of this very complex subject. To kill it you have to know the facts. Research, know your details; discover the NGO players in your community; identify who is victimized by the policies and recruit them to your fight; and then kill Agenda 21. That’s how it must be done. The information below is only your first step. Happy hunting.

The Simpler Way perspective on the global predicament

Ted Trainer
Energy Bulletin

The dominant view, almost never questioned, is that major global problems can be solved within and by the kind of society we have now, i.e., one providing high material living standards and increasing wealth, and driven by market forces and economic growth. Many believe the changes required will have to be big but hardly anyone seems to think that the kind of society we have built over several hundred years needs to be fundamentally reconsidered, let alone abandoned.

People who work in technical fields tend to be among those most firmly adhering to this view, and the most enthusiastic of all seem to be those involved in renewable energy. There are many highly impressive reports, detailed and in glossy format, written by a cast of thousands of heavy-weight academics “proving” that we could run the world on renewables.

I want to sketch the reasons why I believe that this dominant, never questioned conventional view is quite mistaken. For more than fifty years there has been gradually accumulating an overwhelming case that the global predicament is a) far too deep to be remedied without abandoning the fundamental structures, systems, world views and values of consumer-capitalist society, b) is being generated by those foundational structures and commitments, and therefore c) can only be solved by transition to a very different kind of society in which we do not have high “living standards”, globalisation, a central role for market systems, or any economic growth at all, and indeed in which GDP per capita must be cut to a small fraction of current levels.

Why 'Self-Sufficiency' Should Replace 'Sustainability' in the Environmental Movement

The environmental movement is in love with the word 'sustainable'. Admittedly, it's a wonderful word in the purest sense, meaning;  1. capable of being sustained, 2. capable of being continued with minimal long-term effect on the environment.

Who doesn't want those capabilities? Yet, 'sustainability', like everything else good and pure, has seemingly been hijacked by the ruling oligarchs as a way to impose more top-down control of society. Passionate environmentalists are beginning to realize that the only way to affect real change is by becoming sustainable individuals through self-sufficiency. This focus on individual empowerment will naturally lead to increased liberty, as it minimizes the tactics used by mega-cartels and government to control our core needs of food, electricity, or medicine.  Living in an environmentally and socially sustainable world should be an obvious goal, but it won't work if imposed at the barrel of a gun.

Open Source Methods for Self-Sufficient Communities

After reading about the Open Source Ecology project, I decided to do a little research and see if there were any other groups out there trying to attempt the same thing. What I found is that the majority of the small-scale, self-sufficient community projects are being funded either by universities or government grants.

The problem I think that is inherent in these models is that the interests of big business and governments tend to be at odds with the interests of the developing world. Certainly multinational corporations have a history of exploiting the workers of developing nations, as well as their governments, all in the name of profit.

The open source model has proven to be a huge success in the computing world. Groups like the Free Software Foundation, spearheaded by Richard Stallman in 1985, have changed the application landscape in a completely unprecedented way. They have provided users with quality software often at little or no cost. The resulting explosion in wikis and blogs has fueled a global grassroots movement that has added a level of transparency to global affairs that has never existed before.

There is however a flaw in applying this model to a project such as the Global Village Construction Set currently being worked on at Open Source Ecology.

Glimpse of the global master plan -- Wiki
Bruno Waterfield
The Telegraph

Cars will be banned from London and all other cities across Europe under a draconian EU masterplan to cut CO2 emissions by 60 per cent over the next 40 years.

The European Commission on Monday unveiled a "single European transport area" aimed at enforcing "a profound shift in transport patterns for passengers" by 2050.

The plan also envisages an end to cheap holiday flights from Britain to southern Europe with a target that over 50 per cent of all journeys above 186 miles should be by rail.

Free Market Famine Redux: Who Will Feed China?

Activist Post

Long-time published author,Joseph E. Fasciani, wrote an article in May, 2004 for Axis of Logic titled, It’s Time to Again Ask:  Who Will Feed China? Activist Post is honored to have been contacted by Joseph to publish an exclusive follow-up companion piece tracing the state of farming then and now, as well as what food shortages mean for all of us.  The original article is reprinted by permission in its entirety to offer clarity and perspective.

May 23, 2004
It's Time to Again Ask:  Who Willl Feed China?

When Lester Brown's book Who Will Feed China? came out in 1995, apart from the usual suspect environmentalists (such as myself), few people noticed it or thought it "realistic" in its forecasts.  The prestigious author, president of the Worldwatch Institute, recipient of many environmental awards, predicted China's breakneck industrialization would lead to massive world grain shortages in the next century.  Well, we're very near that point, China has developed even faster than what he foresaw, so what's next?

At that time he wrote that political leaders must recognize "the world is now on a demographic and economic path that is environmentally unsustainable."  No argument there, I think, as most of us who are Internet users, have a high school education, and are halfway ecologically aware will admit.  He used Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan as key examples of countries already densely populated when they set out to rapidly industrialize, parallel to China's present situation.  Brown felt these countries developed in ways that compelled them to turn to imported grains for their populations. He cited many reasons for this, ranging from land scarcity, migration to cities from farms, general overpopulation, water scarcity, and unstable (i.e., unregulated free trade) prices on the world market.

To feed its 1.3 billion people, China may soon have to import so much grain that this could trigger unprecedented rises in grain prices. When Japan, a nation of just 125 million, began to import food, world grain markets rejoiced. But China's market is ten times greater, so there may not be enough easily available grain in the world to meet that market.  And here's where it gets really sticky.

The advocates of "Free Trade" and global corporatism who are in these markets, giants such as Cargill and Archer Daniels Midland, say that prices will rise to where those that have will get, and those that don't, won't.  The neoconservatives' beloved Social Darwinism raises its New World Disorder head, as the Godzilla of food prices rises equally for the rich and the poor alike.

Analysts long understood that the higher incomes of China's new industrial urban proles would increase food demand, especially for meats, eggs, beer, and grains in general.  And these same analysts assumed China's domestic food production would rise to meet these demands.  But how are you going to keep them down on the farm, after they've seen Beijing?  Urban proles don't raise their own food, and most of these newly arrived just escaped from China's Third World farms, so they're not bloody likely to return!  So who will feed China?

The world's great granaries are Canada, the USofA, and Argentina.  But here we encounter some novel problems with supply, which is supposed to infinitely rise to meet infinite demand.  In the airy-fairy world of academic economists, Professor Samuelson's Economicstext poses an absurd infinitely expanding pie of supply.  Argentina is a basket case (created by the same Friedmanite economists who gave us global corporatism and free trade lies) and can barely feed itself, rising Summer temperatures make Canada's non-irrigated crops more dicey every year, and US stockpiles were deliberately run low.  It is, as a recent article put it, “The End of the World as We Know It, Pentagon Style:”

Particularly vulnerable would be China, which has huge food demands for a population expected to reach almost 1.4 billion over the next 15 years.  Much of its agricultural capacity is in low-lying coastal regions and river valleys already threatened by periodic flooding.  The Pentagon planners suggest that an expansion into Russian territory might prove irresistible.

Well, flooding, schmuding, so long as there's a buck to be made.  Now we arrive at the crux of our problem: thanks to its US dollar wealth, China can easily outbid other nations in a "free world" auction of remaining foodstocks.  No more starving Chinese to take our table scraps! They'll eat the pricey food that our domestic poor can't afford! And that's OK, says the Bushies:  that's compassionate conservatism in action!  It gives missionary churches more chances to get those damned poor we always have too many of into the churches for their daily bread.  (Please re-read "The Grand Inquisitor" from The Brothers Karamazov for an important update on this.)

I'm waiting to hear what the candidates have to say about "who's to eat, and who's to serve"* in the kitchen of this New World Disorder Café, brought to you by the same folks that created the Federal Reserve, World Wars 1 & 2, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, the pillaging of Central and South American farming and industry, and the 25,000,000 landless urban poor within the USSA who, less than a century ago, could have survived in a less industrialized economy.  A small price to pay for Progress, eh Dubya?

*Leonard Cohen: “Democracy,” from The Future

July 10, 2010
Free Market Famine of 2010

Just over six years ago I wrote an article for The Axis of Logic titled, It's Time to Again Ask: Who Will Feed China? As I've been intimately involved with agriculture and horticulture for more than forty years, including service as a governmental advisor to people starting out to farm for the first time, I felt I had some insight into what increasingly looked to be a dire future for the so-called “wealthy nations” of Kanada and the USSA [not typos].

When you read the earlier article, note that it was NOT written in a strident voice, nor was it calling for imminent doom and gloom. It was only a forecast of what I believed was likely the most probable outcome of trends already in place, trends not likely to slow, never mind cease. And now, as we used to say in VietNam, there it is!

Today China clearly has the cash and is ready to step up and buy what the world sells. And buy she has: from multi-billion dollar oil and gas deals to fertile land in the tens of thousands of acres, China has been dumping its US dollars, even as they slowly unwind in decreasing value. In turn, China's bought or secured long-term supplies of food, energy, minerals, metals, and other true necessities of life. The USSA has not done this for its citizens, but instead has arrogantly chosen to stand aside from true conservative practices, in order to let the privately-owned and so-called “free markets” dictate what will be public policy in food and water.

As to who is to pay and who is to eat, well, let the "free" markets decide!  Be assured the fat white and black asses in our two ruling houses will be well-fed, at your expense, but hey!  Ya got'cher freedoms, don'tya? Too bad them Afghanis don't, eh? Maybe some Iraqi oil will taste good to ya....  Gawd knows you paid and paid and paid for it in blood and wealth!

Finally, as I wrote to Jeff Rense on Thursday, June 22:

Sunday [the 18th] was the last day for Canadian grain farmers to get their seeding done for this year. Unfortunately, we're having torrential rain and floods, so the seeding will be 40% below normal, at best. But wait, it gets worse.

Our dairy and meat cattle are being drowned, as well. The remaining ones will go back to severely ravaged grazing grounds, lowering overall production by a yet-to-be determined amount, but surely at least 10%, more likely 20%.

Farm prices in general are at long-term lows, so even if farmers and ranchers were able to raise 100% of what they could, it still wouldn't be enough to cover the bills.

I think this Autumn could see a general collapse of the large-scale agricultural sector. Small family farms will survive, if just barely.

People who read history will recall that the collapse of the farm sector took place three years before the onset of the Great Depression. The crash of 1929 was only the industrial sector's confirmation of what had already happened in the hinterlands.

It's a'coming, be here all-too-soon.

All best, J

The real problem here is that with the noble exception of the Canadian Wheat Board's marketing, the people who raise our food receive barely enough to cover their costs of production. For all practical purposes, they have neither choice nor voice in who buys what they sell, and at what "market" price. As there are now only six major players in the international grains trade [how free is that, except free to conspire?], the opportunities for price-fixing are simply too, too wonderful to ignore.

We'll soon be visited by the likes of the villain of Frank Norris's famous trilogy of the wheat, "The Octopus,” the railroad's notorious Berman, when he tells the about-to-be-destroyed farmer that the railroad has but one policy: "Charge all the market will bear!"

Nothing's changed in more than a century; our Jeffersonian revolution's at least eight times over due. Look for it in September-October, always good months for collapse and chaos.

To arms, to arms, mon ami!
A free and better world awaits!

Wal-Mart Looks To Stock More Local Produce

By The Associated Press

BENTONVILLE - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. says it will double its sale of locally sourced produce in the U.S. by the end of 2015.

The move by the world's biggest retailer is part of a new sustainable agriculture strategy that looks to steer more business to small and medium-sized farmers globally while also reducing farming's environmental impact.

Wal-Mart plans to buy more of select U.S. crops. It also anticipates providing training to 1 million farmers and farm workers in emerging markets and selling $1 billion in food sourced from 1 million small and medium-sized farmers.

Wal-Mart says it will start asking suppliers about water, energy, fertilizer and pesticide used per unit of food produced. The retailer also wants to lower food waste at its stores.

Social Engineering Bill in Senate Will Force You Into a City

Beehive Apartments
Bob Livingston
Personal Liberty

A social engineering bill to restrict residence in the suburbs and rural areas and force Americans into city centers has passed the United States Senate Banking Committee and is on the fast track to passage in the Senate.

The bill is called the Livable Communities Act (SB 1619) and it was introduced by corruptocrat outgoing Senator Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.). It seeks to fulfill the United Nation’s plan Agenda 21, adopted at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and signed onto by “New World Order” President George H.W. Bush.

This bill is designed to destroy your community. According to the non-profit American Policy Center the bill:
Is a blueprint for the transformation of our society into total Federal control.

  • Will enforce Federal Sustainable Development zoning and control of local communities.
  • Will create a massive new “development” bureaucracy.
  • Will drive up the cost of energy to heat and cool your home.
  • Will drive up the cost of gasoline as a way to get you out of your car.
  • Will force you to spend thousands of dollars on your home in order to comply.

A carrot and stick policy will be used to get your local government to sign on. The carrot is billions of dollars in grants available if your local government agrees to amend zoning laws that restrict housing in outlying areas, forcing people to give up their homes and land and move into the city center.

The stick will be denial of the funds and bad publicity generated by “Green” organizations criticizing government officials for turning down free money.
