Is the Global Economy Going Rogue? Why We MUST Start Living More Locally…Before It’s Too Late

The elephant in the room of our political dithering and partisan complaints is a global economy that’s too big not to fail. Learn about five indicators that the elephantine economy is about to go rogue and make localization a cutting-edge survival skill.

No doubt you’ve heard the great news: Globalization is going to save the world. Sure, things are (really) bad right now, but as more nations join the global economy, their economies will become more integrated, and their interests and goals will become more aligned. As the economic playing field levels, perceived inequalities between ethnicities and belief systems will be ironed out. We’ll all work together to combat problems like global warming. And, ultimately, we’ll all be borne forward on a tide of economic prosperity until we reach the shores of a big, happy, peaceful, unified world.
It all sounds very progressive and promising. Too bad it’s just a collective pipe dream—and a very dangerous one.

While there have been some voices of dissent, they’ve been largely drowned out by the assurances of those getting rich from the global economy. The prevailing attitude seems to be that globalism is good—or will be as soon as the bugs get worked out.

What most people can’t seem to grasp, or perhaps more accurately don’t want to believe, is that globalization not only ain’t all that, it’s the exact opposite of what we should be doing. It’s a system that’s doomed and for a simple reason: It goes against the laws of Life itself. Life evolved local and regional economies that couldn’t burn and churn through Earth’s finite supplies of resources. It put global economies that could out of business. Simply put, the global economy is too big NOT to fail.

Veteran U.S. Diplomat: We Are Becoming the USSR

Chas Freeman was President Nixon's interpreter during Nixon's historic visit to China in 1972. Now, nearly 40 years later, after an impressive diplomatic and defense career, he's interpreting China for the rest of us.
Last week he said:

The balance of prestige, if not yet the balance of power, between the United States and China has shifted...In some disturbing ways, Sino-American competition is beginning to parallel the contest between us and the Soviet Union in the Cold War. This time, however, the United States is in the fiscally precarious position of the USSR, while China plays the economically robust role we once did.
Freeman has long been a global agent provocateur. His outspoken views, especially on the Middle East and China, doomed President Obama's nomination of him two years ago to serve as head of the National Intelligence Council. But he also tends to be enlightening. During his talk last week, he ruminated on a key point about the U.S. Navy's presence in the western Pacific: why shouldn't Beijing be ticked off at us for loitering in their neighborhood?

The bad news:
China has been patient for four decades, but it is now actively pondering how best to remove the United States from what is – from its point of view – our very unhelpful residual military role in cross-Strait relations so that Beijing's negotiators can settle the Taiwan issue with their counterparts in Taipei. That, I take it, is a principal focus of the national review of policy toward the United States that China is reportedly poised to launch. Americans cannot safely assume that China's recent objections to U.S. arms sales to Taiwan or other military actions on our part are pro forma or “just more of the same.” It's at least as likely that we will soon once again confront the necessity to choose between the self-imposed shackles of longstanding policy and the imperatives of our long-term strategic interests.

Beyond the Bin Laden Stunt; The Dire Implications of This Latest Surreal Ploy

Tony Cartalucci, Contributing Writer

Bangkok, Thailand May 2, 2011 - It has already been illustrated that the corporate-financier oligarchs have committed themselves to an irreversible global confrontation by planning and executing the "Arab Spring" which is now quickly escalating into a regional military campaign. Concurrently, the West is stabbing at both Russia's peripheries in Eastern Europe as well as China's "String of Pearls" resting along Southeast Asia, Central Asia and into the Middle East.

While the focus of the world is myopically fixated on Northern Africa and the Middle East, with the immediate goal being the collapse of Syria and Iran, more astute observers have noted the building pressure on BelarusPakistan, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, and even Beijing itself.

The implications of "Osama Bin Laden" being "killed" in the heart of Pakistan, just miles from the nation's capital of Islamabad, are dire indeed.

Globalist Coup Plotters Acting Shady

US Funded CANVAS renames & moves "Partnerships" page littered with US organizations.

The Timeline

2000US-funded and trained Otpor in Serbia overthrows Slobodan Milosevic.
2002: Otpor starts hosting Georgian and Ukranian protesters for preparation of "Rose Revolution" and "Orange Revolution."
2003: Otpor travels to Zimbabwe to train protesters. Srdja Popovic decides to found CANVAS
2008: Egyptian April 6 Movement leaders attend US State Department summit in NYC.
2009: April 6 Movement attends training in Serbia under CANVAS.
2010: February, April 6 Movement meets US International Crisis Group trustee Mohamed ElBaradeiat Cario's airport. With Google exec Wael Ghonim, they begin conducting ElBaradei's presidential campaign and organizing protests on behalf of ElBaradei's "National Front for Change" for the next year.
2011: January-February April 6, Mohamed ElBaradei, the National Front for Change, assist in the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak.
2011: February, George Soros funded NGOs begin submitting draft constitutions for Egypt's new government.

It is important to understand how clearly premeditated this is, how long it has been planned and worked on by the United States government, its extensive network of agents and NGOs, and how much they stand to lose if this premeditated plot becomes widely known to the public.

It comes as no surprise then, that Sebria's CANVAS has recently taken down its "Cooperation and Partnerships" page on their website, moved and renamed it to obfuscate their ties with US organizations such as the US Neo-Con infested Freedom House, International Republican Institute, the Albert Einstein Institution, and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) & George Soros funded New Tactics in Human Rights/Center for Victims of Torture.

It should be noted that Gene Sharp is the "senior scholar" at the Albert Einstein Institution (AEI),and wrote the book by which Otpor in Serbia literally operated from, which would later on become the foundation of CANVAS, training the protesters of the US-backed Georgian, Ukranian, Tunisian, and Egyptian revolutions. Robert Helvey, who personally trained Otpor was a board member of the AEI until at least 2003.

A recent Google cache can be found here (for now)
This is how the page appeared originally.

The dead-link can be found here: http://www.canvasopedia.org/canvas-cooperation-and-partnerships.php This is how the page now appears, as a 404 error, page not found.

The US State Department's Movements.org (AYM)
also is defensive about their corporate sponsors, and
felt compelled to point out they have other sponsors,
however, without elaborating or providing a link.

After extensive searching, the Cooperation and Supporters page can be found moved and renamed as "external links" downplaying the role each of these organizations have played in CANVAS' activities and the resulting "revolutions" that have now unfolded. This move also conveniently breaks all the links in any story showing the "Cooperation and Supporters" page.

Should the theatrical, "confused," and feigned ignorance of the entire US and European establishment that participated in this hoax foisted upon millions at the cost of human lives in Egypt, Tunisia, and now Bahrain and Libya, be exposed as a premeditated deliberate political reordering, not only will the global elites' plans unravel in chaotic disarray at the cost of decades of work, but it may serve as the impetus for a very real awakening.

Please expose this hoax. And for those with the technical ability to do so, when you are researching, be sure to take screen shots often, save source code, save pdf's of annual reports and documents, as well as saving the html code along with all supporting files to host crucial web-pages offline if necessary. Please also report dead-links to researchers as soon as possible.

Barack Obama: We Must Embrace Globalism And The Emerging One World Economy

The Economic Collapse

Although it received very little coverage in the mainstream media, Barack Obama made some comments about globalism during his speech in Mumbai, India that were very eye-opening.  As he was discussing the new realities of world trade in 2010, Obama warned against “those who see globalization as a threat” and he spoke of the “integrated world” in which we all now live.  But is merging the entire globe into a one world economy, a one world financial system and a one world labor market really the best thing for the American people?

For the past two decades, all U.S. presidents have been heralding the benefits of merging the American economy with the rest of the globe.  George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama have all steadfastly supported the emerging one world economy.  These presidents have each used different terms to describe this process such as “globalism”, “globalization”, “an integrated world”, “the global economy” and even “a New World Order”, but they have all meant the same thing.  All of these presidents have sought to integrate the United States even more deeply into the developing one world economic system.

Barack Obama showed very clearly how he feels about globalism when he made the following statement during his speech in Mumbai….
“This will keep America on its toes. America is going to have to compete. There is going to be a tug-of-war within the US between those who see globalization as a threat and those who accept we live in a open integrated world, which has challenges and opportunities.”
This is something that Barack Obama has obviously thought quite a bit about. In fact, during the same speech he warned that those supporting globalization will need to “guard against” those who would seek to put up barriers to the full integration of the economies of the world….
“If the American people feel that trade is just a one-way street where everybody is selling to the enormous US market but we can never sell what we make anywhere else, then the people of the US will start thinking that this is a bad deal for us and it could end up leading to a more protectionist instinct in both parties, not just among Democrats but also Republicans. So, that we have to guard against.”
But in this new “global economy”, aren’t jobs leaving the United States and heading to developing nations at a blinding pace?  Of course, but apparently we are just supposed to shut up and accept this new reality.  In fact, Obama says that persistently high unemployment is “a new normal” that we are all just going to have to get used to.
