Democratic Socialists vs. America First Populists How many times do you have to hear that going off the financial cliff is a failure of controlling spending as opposed to a lack of revenue? Systemic deficits exist because government is too big, not because taxpayers are not paying their fair share. This assessment is sacrilege to the Democratic Socialists who make up both political parties. The "so called" debate over cutting back the growth in budgetary increases is void of any real substance or focus. The basic reason that the federal government leviathan instills mass hysteria and fear about cutting back on social welfare programs is that the system preaches a false egalitarian and utopia deliverance from reality. Contrast this dependency viewpoint with the foundations of America First populism. Thomas Jefferson presents the basis for a healthy economy. "Agriculture, manufactures, commerce, and navigation, the four pillars of our prosperity, are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise." The National Center for Constitutional Studies summarizes.

No Labels = The Ignorant Middle

The American electorate seldom demonstrates an ability to resist the appeals of slick marketing and charlatan candidates. The "so called" swing vote is the battleground where every election is fought. View the vast middle as the ill-equipped idiots that continually waste their vote on establishment surrogates who always protest the corporate/state as their primary campaign pledge. They spin it with charming platitudes, but in the end, they shield their corporate masters.

In spite of this perennial passion play a recent Gallup Poll Puts Congressional Approval at Lowest in History. "83 percent polled over the weekend said they disapprove of Congress' performance. The 13 percent who do approve makes for the lowest approval rating ever".

A twist on buyer’s remorse, provided from the Republican/Democratic one party dynasty. So what is the alternative? Get ready for the seal of approval and focus group tested "No Labels" campaign.

The New York Observer sums up New York Times columnist David Brooks this way: "He suggested that a bipartisan group like No Labels is necessary to aid those politicians who step out of party lines for the greater good". Wonder just who some of these bipartisan politicians might be?

The Christian Science Monitor sheds some light on this search. 

Monday’s launch of a new movement called Nolabels.org – an effort to get beyond the hyperpartisanship that infuses Washington – can’t help but keep the "will Bloomberg run" question alive. The daylong rollout was held in New York City, and Mayor Bloomberg, a political independent, was a marquee participant. And Nolabels’ centrist approach to policy fits his own message, laid out just last week in a campaign-style speech on the economy. The billionaire Bloomberg’s willingness to self-fund as a politician has been amply demonstrated in his three successful runs for New York mayor, and he reportedly considered running for president in 2008". 

Such a shining example of populism and ordinary people like Bloomberg must be different from the standard party hack, do you agree? Gee, what party tag is he using this time . . .?

The Politico views this non-party label a little different.

 "The group "No Labels" kicked off its first conference Monday at New York's Columbia University with just one label largely absent: "Republican."

The non-partisan initiative with the slogan, "Not Left. Not Right. Forward", is seeking to fill what the American people regularly tell pollsters is the vital center: a non-ideological space where the commitment is to getting things done. And its speakers—who ranged from Republican moderates like ex-Virginia Rep. Tom Davis to liberal Democrats like New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand—sang the praises of cooperation and compromise.

But the only Republicans present at Columbia University's modern, square Alfred Lerner Hall seemed to be those who had recently lost primary races, such as South Carolina Rep. Bob Inglis and Delaware Rep. Mike Castle, or former Republicans like Florida Gov. Charlie Crist and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg".

Wow, could this be a clan of mostly losers or wannabees just masquerading as moderates?

Emily Esfahani Smith, managing editor of the Hoover Institution journal, name names:

 "No Labels' purpose is to fight hyper-partisanship in politics, to be the "centrist equivalent to the tea-party movement on the right and MoveOn on the left." Does it surprise you that David Frum is one of the organization's founding leaders? So are Republican strategist Mark McKinnon and Democratic fundraiser Nancy Jacobson". And provides this quote from No Labels' website:

"Hyper-partisanship is one of the greatest domestic challenges our nation faces. It divides America and derails our ability to solve our shared challenges. Rather than focusing on solving problems, hyper-partisans use labels to demonize their opponents, enforce orthodoxy within their own ranks, and marginalize sensible compromises".

Ms. Esfahani Smith concludes:

"When it comes to politics and political parties, I think litmus tests and "orthodoxy" are foolish and harmful--especially for the GOP right now. However, I don't agree with No Labels that partisanship itself is a problem. "Ordinary politics is partisan politics," as Harvey Mansfield has written. To say otherwise--to try to create a postpartisan era of "No Labels"--is a utopian departure from reality".

In order to make sense out of another feeble attempt to hoodwink the populace, the ruling establishment is molding an alliance between the NeoCons and the NeoLibs. No Labels really means lead the dumbed down public by the nose. 

Compare and contrast the stretch from Rush Limbaugh and the alluring lyrics of Akon, "See a man with a blue tie, see a man with a red tie; so how about we tie ourselves together and get it done".Who is correct? If you are one of the walking zombies that believe that we can all just get along, you are a prime target for the No Labels deception. Watch these videos of Limbaugh: No Labels Is A Racist Organization and Akon: No Labels and take away the lesson that both miss the real point of what No Labels is attempting to accomplish. 

No Labels looks more like a pilot plot for the sequel to Mad Men. Madison Avenue selling the youth on a message of communal unity, the career working taxpayer that government theft helps society and the struggling single parent that their kids are really being educated in government schools. Sadly, the Ignorant Middle, all too often, buys into the hype and snake oil.

Gotham City, the source of original sin and seat of eternal damnation leads the carnival that sucks in the suckers into playing a no win game. Need evidence, just ponder the results from the New York State election.

The gubernatorial results by party are: Democratic 2,610,123; Republican 1,290,017; Conservative 232,264; Working Families 154,847; Independence 146,646; Green 59,928; Libertarian 48,386; Rent is 2 Damn High 41,131; Taxpayers 25,820; Freedom 24,572; Anti-Prohibition 20,429. There were 4,423 write-ins.

The Libertarian Party no long qualifies to be on the ballot without obtaining new signatures. The progressive left Working Families and 2 Damn High media creation just want more government handouts. Just add in the Green and Independence vote to most of the Democratic platform and you have very few people standing up for limited government. 

Remember the Coffee Party, that alternative to the Tea Party. Christian Matthias in The Coffee Party and No Labels Prepare for an Independent Candidate while Offering No Solutions, writes:

“The Coffee Party has finally done it…  They haveofficially endorsed (Titled: In Praise of No Labels) the startup political group labeled No Labels in their quest for political obscurity guised by a right-winged led call for civility. To the point, they have lost all credibility as an organization. People of this great nation cannot be fooled any longer. The Coffee Party is leading you down a road to the slaughter house. These words may seem harsh but the stakes could not be higher. The Coffee Party along with No Labels is an organization meant to harm you. The end result of their efforts will be to siphon votes to a third party Independent candidate: most likely – Michael Bloomberg. Beware of lessons learned from 1992”.

Well, Mr. Matthias is correct about both the Coffee Party and No Labels but his conclusion misses the most important issue. As long as the Ignorant Middle keeps voting for either version of Democrat or Republican collectivism, the final results guarantee totalitarian tyranny. Manufactured third parties are quite different from spontaneous populist grassroots rebellion. The basic reason why No Labels is the latest adaptation of defusing groundswell dissent is to siphon off lukewarm support from the Tea Party movement.

No doubt, the RINO establishment has their own style of drinking GOP tea, but the authentic voice of individual liberty revolt is distinctively ideological, paleo-conservative and America First. Any organization where David Frum influences policy is an enemy of the Republic.

As true as the record of despotism is documented, the more the Ignorant Middle demand added repression. Elections are fabricated spectacles of coronation. The real lesson of 1992 is that H. Ross Perot was threatened to marginalize himself with bazaar conduct of dropping out and then jumping back into the race. A true viable Third Party is the only way to scare the bejesus out of the establishment whores. As long as the Ignorant Middle swings between burros and pachyderms, the ‘TC’ society will wear the dullard label.

For any reform or revolutionary movement to be legitimate, it must reject a top-down model. If a mere 13% approve Congress' performance, please explain how Obama has a 79 percent job-approval rating among liberal Democrats? Are the irresistible statists wearing a liberal label or do they just make up the vast majority of the Ignorant Middle? Do not be fooled. No Labels is an alliance of NeoCon and Libs to play on the shallow sophistication of part-time citizens.

Ten Questions for Tea Partiers

So You Want Lower Taxes, a Return to Constitutional Protections and Clean Government?

Here are ten Questions for Tea Partiers that they want or do not want to answer. I say it this way because people who call themselves Tea Partiers do not have the same view of politics, government, Big Business or the Constitution. Their opinions range from pure Libertarian to actively furthering the privileges of plutocracy. Their income and occupational background vary as well, though most seem to be middle-income and up.

My guess is that most Tea Partiers come from the conservative wing of the Republican Party who are fed up with both the corporate Republicans like Bush and Cheney, as well as the Democrats like Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi.

With the above in mind, the following questions can serve to go beyond abstractions and generalizations of indignation and get to some more specific responses.


1. Can you be against Big Government and not press for reductions in the vast military budgets, fraught with bureaucratic and large contractors’ waste, fraud and abuse? Military spending now takes up half of the federal government’s operating budgets. The libertarian Cato Institute believes that to cut deficits, we have to also cut the defense budget.

2. Can you believe in the free market and not condemn hundreds of billions of dollars of corporate welfare-bailouts, subsidies, handouts, and giveaways?

3. Can you want to preserve the legitimate sovereignty of our country and not reject the trade agreements known as NAFTA and GATT (The World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland) that scholars have described as the greatest surrender of local, state and national sovereignty in our history?

4. Can you be for law and order and not support a bigger and faster crackdown on the corporate crime wave, that needs more prosecutors and larger enforcement budgets to stop the stealing of taxpayers and consumer dollars so widely reported in the Wall Street Journal and Business Week? Law enforcement officials estimate that for every dollar for prosecution, seventeen to twenty dollars are returned.

5. Can you be against invasions of privacy by government and business without rejecting the provisions of the Patriot Act that leave you defenseless to constant unlawful snooping, appropriation of personal information and even search of your home without notification until 72 hours later?

5 Key Principles that Unite Populist Progressives and Tea-Party Libertarians

The establishment must do everything it can to suppress unity among the growing herd of angry citizens. However, victory for the people is within our grasp.  In a dangerous scenario for the establishment, populists from the left and the right are increasingly finding common ground.  A recent Mother Jones article titled "Tea Party or Pot Party?" revealed to progressives that they can actually agree with Tea Party libertarians on issues such as legalizing marijuana.  With an honest look at each other's principles we may find that what unites Populists is far more powerful than what divides us.

First, we must be cognizant that the establishment seeks to divide us by using such vile tactics as labeling progressives as "evil communists" and the Tea Party libertarians as "racists."  Naturally, old-school civil rights liberals hate racists, and free-market conservative purists hate communists.  Can we not see that the establishment knows precisely what buttons to push to keep us from uniting?  These false labels are irrelevant in our current struggle with a tyrannical Corporate State.



It is clear that we the people are all suffering in similar ways under the current system.  We grasp for someone to blame for this manufactured suffering, and the establishment is all too eager to provide a culprit to misdirect our anger.  Progressives have been conditioned to blame big evil corporations, while conservatives have been conditioned to blame big evil government.  But now, both are finally realizing that corporate cartels and the government have merged into a most evil monster that cares not for them, or the health of America for that matter.  Even Michael Moore is waking up to the fact that Obama is a mere puppet of the corporate masters.

The people have been fooled and divided for long enough.  Now, we must go beyond phony labels that the establishment has carefully crafted for us, and join our fellow populists to unite around our common human principles.

Here are five co-dependent principles that unite populist progressives and tea party libertarians:

1. Peace - Ending Foreign Wars
Peace seems to be our natural human condition until the corporate controllers disrupt it for their tactical gain. Wars are sold through division, driven by military-industrial complex profits and the desire for power over resources -- period.  Those are not good enough reasons to kill, maim, displace and torture millions of human beings.  Real humans, if desperate enough, may kill for resources but are not inclined to simply kill for power -- and will engage in neither if they are reasonably comfortable.  The good news is, the elite sub-humans who use human pawns for war to increase gluttonous fortunes will eventually be toppled, because the true natural order of peace will always ultimately manifest. Acts of war are always immoral crimes against humanity, as war is hell and we must become the devil to win.

Libertarians and progressives have been consistently unified against the immoral, interventionist wars and the resulting atrocities on liberty.  Complacent progressives must forget about what party is in power and continue to fight for what is right.  It's not okay to excuse the wars, the torture, and the illegal wiretapping simply because the current Democratic president was presented with a Nobel Peace Prize.  If anything, that alone should prove to you the left-right paradigm is bogus.  And if pocketbook conservatives desire authenticity about reducing spending, then we must start with defense cuts across the board -- including ending the wars. Christian conservatives and liberal Jews must adopt the peaceful message of their religions, and realize that the real threat to their freedom and safety is far more dangerous than the engineered Muslim threat sold to them by the corrupt establishment. And those who still support military-industrial complex-owned neocons, God help you.


Common Ground: As Gandhi said, "There is no path to peace, peace is the path".  Ending the wars is the only moral and pragmatic policy to rescue our country.


2. Restoring Economic Justice and Fiscal Sanity
Economic fairness and fiscal sanity begins and ends with reforming our monetary system. The primary reason Americans should be angry about their economic situation is the fact that the Federal Reserve is a privately-owned entity.  It functions outside the jurisdiction of all branches of elected government and it owns the SEC and Treasury, which gives this private group immeasurable power to turn us and our government into debt slaves for their own gain.  The fractional reserve system for money creation inherently causes inflation that will always require more taxes from the public. In fact, the United States never had an income tax until the year after the Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913.  The Fed, who continues to loot America, is also the engine that drives the ongoing global financial crisis.  To reclaim America it is imperative that the criminal banking cartel be abolished and sound money must be restored to the people.

We must learn from Woodrow Wilson who said: "Our great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is privately concentrated. The growth of our nation, therefore, and all of our activities are in the hands of a few men . . . who necessarily, by very reason of their limitations, chill and check and destroy economic freedom."

This topic is so obviously beyond the false left-right debate that anyone who opposes it would appear to be a shill for the criminal banking system.  If Tea Party activists wonder who is to blame for their climbing taxes, they need to point their finger at the monetary system that encourages big government to keep spending, thus resulting in inflation.  There is already encouraging bipartisan cooperation in regards to investigating the Fed which has brought great awareness of their true nature to the public.

Although there is no proposed legislation to fundamentally change the function of the Fed, we saw a progressive Alan Grayson (D-Fla) co-sponsor the "Audit the Fed" bill, drafted by ultra-conservative Ron Paul (R-TX), with another ultra-progressive Bernie Sanders (I-VT) introducing the Senate version. Furthermore, it is also encouraging to see a flurry of candidates from various states and political philosophies proposing citizen-owned state banks as part of the economic solution.  This nonpartisan issue is absolutely vital for all Americans to support if we hope to be free human beings.

Common Ground:  Thomas Jefferson said: "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered . . . I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies . . . The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."  End the private Federal Reserve and establish sound money for the benefit of all Americans.


3. Limiting Government for the Restoration of Individual Liberty
Very simply, more personal liberty comes only by limiting the size of government.  As Americans, we all must hold dear our Bill of Rights which is clearly under assault.  Conservative libertarians have long been known as the defenders of liberty, while progressive civil rights leaders in the 60s knew they had truth on their side when they declared that equality would ultimately prevail.  Since the civil rights victory, progressives grew to believe that government intervention works for social matters, and that well-funded regulatory agencies are necessary and good because they are looking out for our safety.

However, the last decade has conclusively proved that all major regulators like the FDA, USDA, CDC, SEC, and DHS have become arms of the elite corporate cartels who use regulation to squeeze small businesses to further consolidate their industry empires.  These utterly corrupt and bloated agencies continue to sell "safety" to the public to justify their budget and jurisdiction expansions, where they limit our freedoms through over-regulation at the behest of their corporate controllers.

Despite being the strongest voice against the Patriot Act at the time, progressives are only now experiencing the personal ramifications of increased government regulation by the massive "Big Brother" surveillance-industrial complex -- and it is happening, ironically, under our supposedly "liberal" president.  They have witnessed an assault on their freedoms with the recent tyrannical raids on peaceful antiwar protesters, private organic food cooperatives, legal natural health choices like medical marijuana, and illegal surveillance of environmentalist anti-fracture gas drilling groups.  In every case, big business is directing big government to crush our freedoms. Big government and big cartel business feed off each other in a self-perpetuating system that must be broken.

Common Ground: Liberty is a natural order that unites us and will prevail.  As John Adams wrote: "Human nature itself is evermore an advocate for liberty."  Restore the Bill of Rights by ending the prohibition of drugs; and by reducing, or eliminating, regulatory agencies who impose fees, taxes, and statutes that threaten our freedoms.


4. Consumer Freedom and Free Markets
No form of government has been able to stop free markets in the history of mankind.  Even under totalitarian communism, barter systems or black markets thrive because free markets are yet another natural order for humanity.  The failed war on drugs is the most glaring example in America. The more tyrannical our government becomes toward limiting consumers' choices, the more we are seeing the rise of local organic cooperatives, many of which utilize barter systems.

For too long progressives and conservatives have confused what constitutes a free market economy. Again, this confusion and division has been deliberately manufactured  Conservatives who advocate for free market capitalism must admit that we haven't had that model since before the original Robber Barons, because Rockefeller and other elites live by the mantra "competition is a sin" -- thus cartels formed to create a form of corporate communism. While progressives like Michael Moore, director of Capitalism, must acknowledge that it is was not "free market capitalism" that caused the financial meltdown -- but rather it was the corrupt banking system and the utter lack of free market competition to blame.

The general public is beginning to realize that anti-competition cartels use government regulatory agencies to further consolidate market share which erodes the free market as well as personal choices.  Food is the most obvious example of an industry that is run by near monopolies, while the FDA continues to suppress healthy choices for local food and natural health alternatives.  Progressives and conservatives must unite with no fear of being called anti-business, and fight to break up the cartels if we're to have genuinely free and fair markets.

Common Ground: "The difference between free-market capitalism and state capitalism is precisely the difference between, on the one hand, peaceful, voluntary exchange, and on the other, violent expropriation."Murray N. Rothbard.  End the monopoly cartels and the prohibition of drugs; demand true free markets with the liberty of choice, not the illusion of choice.


5. Respecting and Protecting our Ecosystem
Obviously a polluted ecosystem does not discriminate against political affiliations.  Humanity requires a healthy environment above all other concerns; as clean water, air, and healthy soil are essential to our survival. That we can all agree on.  However, the modern environmental movement seems to have been hijacked by the elite who show no desire to protect the water, air, and soil.  Environmentalists have been made to believe that CO2 is the most dangerous element responsible for "Global Warming", and despite the establishment's constant betrayal of facts, many still put faith in the elite's proposed solutions that do nothing to reduce real pollutants.

The climate change debate has become the only environmental topic discussed in the mainstream and appears to be yet another example of manufactured political division. Environmentally-conscious progressives know they have been repeatedly lied to by the establishment left about everything from free-trade agreements to GMO foods, yet they seem to have a very difficult time questioning the man-made "global warming" theory and the elite's proposed solutions.

At the very least, eyebrows should be raised since “hacked” emails exposed that the science data had been manipulated to fit the theory.  Alarm bells should go off when we learn that, as Vice President, Gore designed the proposed Cap and Trade system with Enron’s criminal CEO Ken “Kenny Boy” Lay years before the global warming propaganda had begun. A full blown revolt should take place knowing that the scandalous international Banksters and Big Oil (including BP) have shaped Cap and Trade to line their pockets. Finally, many of the proposed provisions appear to tax personal choices while major corporate polluters are exempt. Regardless of what we believe, it certainly appears that climate change fits the establishment's problem-reaction-solution model of social engineering and we should all beware.

Additionally, the global-warming-is-a-hoax crowd must concede that fossil fuels are still dirty and have a major impact on the environment regardless of whether they effect climate change.  The environmentalists who recently opposed fracture drilling in Pennsylvania did so because the practice contaminates ground water, not because natural gas effects climate change.  These protesters were nonpartisan Americans.  We must unite against practices that provably damage our health and the health of our ecosystem.  These include oil spills and subsequent chemical spraying, industrial agriculture and factory farms, dirty coal and depleted uranium energy plants, deliberate poisoning of public water with sodium fluoride, and the production, promotion, and disposal of dangerous pharmaceuticals to name a few.

Common Ground: True pollution is obvious. "Truth is uniform and narrow; it constantly exists, and does not seem to require so much an active energy, as a passive aptitude of the soul in order to encounter it. But error is endlessly diversified; it has no reality, but is the pure and simple creation of the mind that invents it." - Ben Franklin.  We must unite to confront the provable threats to human health and the integrity of our environment, and we must do it rather quickly.


These principles should naturally unite angry citizens who have been relentlessly abused by the corporate state.  Sure, many will remain close-minded and submit to the manufactured division, but as we reach this crucial tipping point for free humanity, it is now imperative that we join in common purpose - FREEDOM.  Let us know what you think!

The Left Right Paradigm is Over: It's You vs. the Corporations

Every generation or so, a major secular shift takes place that shakes up the existing paradigm. It happens in industry, finance, literature, sports, manufacturing, technology, entertainment, travel, communication, etc.

I would like to discuss the paradigm shift that is occurring in politics.

For a long time, American politics has been defined by a Left/Right dynamic. It was Liberals versus Conservatives on a variety of issues. Pro-Life versus Pro-Choice, Tax Cuts vs. More Spending, Pro-War vs Peaceniks, Environmental Protections vs. Economic Growth, Pro-Union vs. Union-Free, Gay Marriage vs. Family Values, School Choice vs. Public Schools, Regulation vs. Free Markets.

The new dynamic, however, has moved past the old Left Right paradigm. We now live in an era defined by increasing Corporate influence and authority over the individual. These two “interest groups” – I can barely suppress snorting derisively over that phrase – have been on a headlong collision course for decades, which came to a head with the financial collapse and bailouts. Where there is massive concentrations of wealth and influence, there will be abuse of power.  The Individual has been supplanted in the political process nearly entirely by corporate money, legislative influence, campaign contributions, even free speech rights.

This may not be a brilliant insight, but it is surely an overlooked one. It is now an Individual vs. Corporate debate – and the Humans are losing.

Americans Renew Call for Third Party

Fifty-eight percent of Americans, and 62% of Tea Party supporters, favor third party

PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' desires for a third political party are as high as they have been in seven years. Fifty-eight percent of Americans believe a third major political party is needed because the Republican and Democratic Parties do a poor job of representing the American people. That is a significant increase from 2008 and ties the high Gallup has recorded for this measure since 2003.

The finding, based on an Aug. 27-30 USA Today/Gallup poll, comes at a time when Americans are widely dissatisfied with the way things are going in the United States and give relatively weak approval ratings to the president and Congress.
