Your Cells, Their Proteins and Superfoods

Credit: University of Edinburgh,

Heather Callaghan

In "She Used to Be In A Wheelchair - The TED Talk That Comes With a Warning" I showcase Dr. Terry Wahls who successfully reversed her debilitating multiple sclerosis with the application of nutrients and meditation. She talks about the importance "minding your mitochondria" and how lifestyle, diet and environment can switch genes on or off. Similarly, there are people reversing ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease using similar methods.

What's cellular protein got to do with it? A whole lot! Turns out, you can influence it with food. In order to drum up more money for research and drugs, researchers also kind of have to admit the power of food.

Below, I'd like to show two recent, similar but unrelated studies about how cells deal with protein production and disease. One of them demonstrates a type of protective protein and how nutrients from superfoods influence it to keep watch over cells.

With all of this information one can see some patterns: a tipping point that leads to disease manifestation, either a clogging of or lack of protein at the cellular level, and how nutrient dense foods play a role in rebalancing the cell.

Researchers Offer Strange Answer to Anticipated Dengue Spikes Following Vaccine

Anopheles stephensiHeather Callaghan

Researchers indeed continue to develop vaccines for tropical, mosquito-vectored diseases like dengue fever, which affects 50 million people per year.

There are no commercially available vaccines for the virus - yet. But, they've run into a big problem.

Researchers watching vaccine development caution that there will be initial disease spikes with its use. There's no argument about this observation. In fact, it's admitted.

But the explanation to ward off panic and ensure that people in other countries will take that future risk, is beyond a mental back flip.

This Simple Mind Trick Puts Stress to Sleep

Anxiety

Heather Callaghan

As focus and fear turns to the amount of craziness and chaos in the world continuing to explode, it gets harder to stay sane in an insane world - or not get sick trying. Plus, we've all got our own problems to deal with personally.

Simply put, stress is the "gift that keeps giving" until it's unwrapped. In that sense, it's benevolent. I think that's why it stays in what we call the subconscious until it is brought forth. Until your body/mind considers it safe to unwrap. Someone once said, "Hell is the possibility of sanity." In a manner of speaking, it's a good type of hell, because it puts you back as the CEO of your life, despite the outside world's demands for "happy insanity." And it can be as temporary as a minor setback if we're actually allowed to get through it - but, we are compelled early on to avoid it, "be happy," suppress, distract, entertain it away, rationalize, deny, fix it immediately, wrap a bow around it...

This will help you look it square in the eye and evaporate it...

She Used to Be In A Wheel Chair - The TED Talk That Comes With a Warning

Heather Callaghan

Yesterday, I wanted to share the great news about people who were actually successfully reversing their ALS, also called Lou Gehrig's. It turns out, people are also reversing another neurodegenerative disease - Multiple Sclerosis.

Against all odds, and without much success in the conventional medical system, some people are discovering a way back to life, foregoing the belief in the typical death-sentence prognosis. They make connections about auto-immune conditions, the brain and the nervous system. They make connections, using an array of research studies and their own bodies, experimenting with specific nutrients and lifestyle changes.

Proof That People Are Reversing ALS, Lou Gehrig's

Steve Shackel, diagnosed 1994
Heather Callaghan

I mentioned the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in a recent article highlighting the social guiding that came with all the "disease awareness" we've been involuntarily immersed in via the media in the last few weeks. ALS meaning Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” meaning in short, a progressive neurodegenerative disease. Those challenged during the campaign were compelled to dump a bucket of ice water on their heads while video recording and challenging three more people to do the same, or else pay $100 to ALS research for the cure.

As Dr. Scott Graves points out in "Why I'm Not Participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge," it's been 60 years of funneling money into cancer research - with what results? According this the ALS Association, it "has received $62.5 million in donations compared to $2.4 million during the same time period last year..." From the Ice Bucket Challenge alone...can you believe that?

Disease and 3 Recent Social Engineering "Challenges"

Heather Callaghan

Have you gotten your daily Vitamin DDD - Death, Destruction, and Disease? If you have been online, in front of a TV, in audible distance of a radio, then you have overdosed. Meanwhile, other far-reaching and newsworthy concepts that literally touch people on a daily basis get "drowned." I only say vitamin because that's how a lot of people take their media, like it's sustenance.

While the media are dousing the public in the three Ds, which appear to be ritualistic in nature, I'll briefly touch on that last D - the focus on disease and the "challenges" meant for you. Social engineering being, in short, guiding thought en masse. In this case, peer pressure on a really big scale.

So just in that one "D" segment of the news, people were recently crushed with disease-awareness. Ebola, Lou Gehrig's, and depression/suicide. Those are all high-impact problems for sure, but I saw a startling pattern those things have in relation to this other vastly unknown epidemic (saved for a later article). Also, each covered issue not only contains challenges for the people suffering with them, but the media gave you a "challenge" to go with it. Sort of like an order.

Are there underlying symbolic challenges too?

Ebola reaches UK: Briton feared to have caught virus after travelling in West Africa

A BRITON is feared to have caught the deadly Ebola virus after travelling in the West African region where it has claimed more than 800 lives.

It is now feared that Ebola has reached the UK [GETTY]

Health chiefs in Wales said yesterday that the condition of the suspected victim is being "closely monitored".
Officials confirmed that the unnamed patient from Cardiff, South Wales, contacted them after feeling ill on their return to British soil.
They were effectively quarantined in their own home and would speak to doctors on a daily basis until the threat was deemed to have passed.
Public Health Wales said the patient believed they "may have been exposed" to the virus which has killed 826 people in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Guinea.
Spokesperson Anna Humphries said: "We have known about this person for the last week - somebody travelled in West Africa and came back a week ago.
"They identified they may have been exposed to Ebola.
"The reason we haven't spoken about this before is the individual is not currently a case of ebola."
She said there was "no risk to the public" posed by the quarantined traveller and stressed that the case is unconfirmed.  Read more

House of Numbers (Full Documentary)

YouTube
In House of Numbers: Anatomy of an Epidemic, an AIDS film like no other, the HIV/AIDS story is being rewritten. This is the first film to present the uncensored point of views of virtually all the major players; in their own settings, in their own words. It rocks the foundation upon which all conventional wisdom regarding HIV/AIDS is based. House of Numbers could well be the opening volley in a battle to bring sanity and clarity to an epidemic gone awry.
