Thailand: Stage Set for Another Color Revolution
Tony Cartalucci, Contributing Writer
Activist Post
What happens when the UK's globalist nexus Chatham House, the US's International Crisis Group (ICG) run by George Soros and Zbigniew Brzezinski, lawyers like Robert Amsterdam, and media giants like BBC, CNN, the Guardian, and the Economist get together to back street protests? Color revolution.
The country this time is Thailand. The organization is called the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD). The color, red.
Red as in Marxism; to represent the rhetorical flavor of UDD intelligentsia like Giles "Jai" Ungpakorn. Ungpakorn is a self-confessed Marxist and believes in turning Thailand into a socialist welfare state, the complete redistribution of wealth, and the destruction of Thailand's highly respected, centuries old culture, history and institutions. He published the "Red Siam Manifesto" within which he places his seal of approval on everything from President Obama, to abortion, to solar power, and frequently has his rantings posted on websites like Socialistworker.org.
Red as in Maoism; the chosen ideology of UDD leader Dr. Weng Tojirakarn. Tojirakarn is a Chinese trained Maoist who took part in the failed Communist Party of Thailand's fight during the 1960's. He was recently building up a network of political indoctrination camps throughout Thailand's northeast before taking part in violent UDD riots in April and May of this year. He is now in jail awaiting trial on charges of terrorism.
Red as in a reflection of Thailand's neighbor Cambodia; ravaged by the Khmer Rogue (Red Khmer), ruled by dictator-for-life, Hun Sen, and being emptied out by foreign investors under the cover of a US trained military and eloquent "people's power speeches." Cambodia has long served as a staging ground and refuge for the UDD and in many ways is a look into the future of a "Red Thailand."
And red as in blood in the streets; during April and May of 2010, the Thai military moved in to break up the UDD's protest, in a similar fashion that broke up the same violent protest a year before. Unlike 2009, UDD had provided its protesters with protection from professional mercenaries which assassinated the commanding officer and his command unit and ignited gun battles, arson, looting and rioting that lasted throughout May, killing 92 and injuring over 1,000.
The UDD is a centralized "people's power" movement under the leadership of former prime minister, now fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra and his Peua Thai Party (PTP). Thaksin in turn, is currently represented by international lawyer Robert Amsterdam who is also simultaneously providing lobbying services for the UDD. This provides further evidence that Thaksin and the UDD are a packaged deal and not as "grassroots" as the mainstream media suggests.
Amsterdam's firm, Amsterdam & Peroff holds membership next to the likes of BBC, the Guardian, and the Economist in the Chatham House. When BBC, the Guardian, the Economist, and even the Chatham House itself write articles and papers to support Amsterdam's position and overall "regime change" in Thailand, it should be of no surprise.
For instance, during Thaksin's administration from 2001 -2006 he conducted a brutal "war on drugs." In 3 months, over 2,000 people were killed in the streets via extra-judicial executions. As indefensible as conducting such executions might be, without arrest, charges or trial, the Economist had no problem spinning it around:
Through the mainstream media Robert Amsterdam, Thaksin, and various globalist think tanks like the ICG continue cawing for "international" intervention and mediation, along with elections Thaksin can surely still buy with his political machine, alive and well in Thailand's rural northeast. The globalist media continues portraying the April/May 2010 violence as a one-sided massacre in an attempt to demonize Thailand as an authoritarian dictatorship, while Thaksin and his clique begin to gather protesters for a renewed campaign to seize power. Continued and persistent interest by the globalists in this matter, including their meddling in the mainstream media, and a recent invitation by the US's CSCE, for Thaksin to travel to the US to give "testimony" on human rights and democracy in Thailand, indicate that the color revolution gambit is still on the table.
Like all engineered, globalist backed color revolutions, it certainly is not about democracy or social justice. It is about regime change in favor of a known globalist stooge. It is about using crass demagoguery in order to divide and tear down the strength of a sovereign people. To specifically attack the Thai Monarchy as Giles Ungpakorn and the Economist have is to debase one of the few common grounds all Thais share and have shared for centuries. A divided, infighting nation with a damaged culture makes an easy target for globalist foreign investors who are clamoring at the borders of yet another nation, ready to insert their parasitic probosci and empty the country out.
And while dangers exist within the current Thai government of a slower integration into the globalist collective, the immediate most unhinging threat is a third attempt at reinstalling Thaksin Shinwatra into power on the back of a violent "people's army." What is most unsettling of all, is that the latter is providing a distracting cover for the former.

On the streets of Khlong Toey, the largest slum in Bangkok, there is nostalgia for Mr Thaksin's iron-fisted drugs policy. The 2003 crackdown drove up prices, smashed trafficking networks and forced addicts into rehabilitation programmes. In drug-ravaged communities, where the ends tend to justify the means, that was enough to turn Mr Thaksin into a hero. One can only expect as much from the mainstream media. This wasn't the first Economist article to help bolster Thaksin and his globalist backers' cause. It wasn't even a month after Sam Moon(formally of the Economist) was hired by Thaksin in November 2008 as a lobbyist, that the Economist began printing inflammatory articles attacking Thailand's respected monarchy and lending sorely needed legitimacy to the UDD.

7 Mega-Cartels That Kill the Free Market and Our Sovereignty
![]() |
Dees Illustration |
Think we have a free market? Think again. Think it was free market capitalism that collapsed the financial system? Think again.
What America has, and what we've had for a long time, is Cartelism. It is becoming increasingly evident that every industry has been infected by "Too-Big-to-Fail" consolidation that has resulted in a near-picture-perfectoligarchy -- a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small segment of society distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, or military control (Wiki).
It's only natural that a hierarchical system would result in exponential attraction of power to the few at the top. The pyramid structure we find in all institutions rewards the thirst for more power at every level. In our system, it was simply a matter of time before several of these pyramids that share a common interest combined forces to drive the direction of their industry to only benefit the newly formed mega-pyramid cartel. Thus, these cartels can then systematically eliminate their free-market competition through government regulation and other well-calculated economic maneuvers.
Each major industry in America, and globally, is predominantly run by a handful of companies who are aided by the corporate-government revolving door. They work in unison to effectively control the direction of their respective industries, the economy as a whole, geopolitics, society, and humanity. Consequently, there is no longer a free market for basic human necessities, or even human thought.
Here are descriptions of 7 mega-cartels that killed the free market and effectively run America's oligarchy beginning at the top of the pyramid and cascading down:
Banking: The Federal Reserve and their consortium of the "Too-Big-to-Fail" mega-banks make up the Wall Street cartel at the apex of all other pyramids. The entire world economy is at the mercy of money creators, managers, and manipulators; using debt they control every nation, industry and person. This cartel, which primarily includes Goldman Sachs, BoA-Merrill, JP Morgan-Chase, Wachovia, Wells Fargo, and CitiBank, has been fully exposed to the public since the 2008 financial collapse where under the guise of crisis the final consolidation occurred. The top four banks, in 2009, controlled 40% of all FDIC insured deposits, have made record profits, and continue to pay record bonuses since the 2008-2009 bailouts. The public was told they needed the TARP bailout because they were too big to fail and so they can restart lending again. The only notable thing the TARP money was used for was further consolidation. It is clear that this most-powerful cartel now has full ownership of the government -- SEC and Congress.
All of these institutions were originally founded by European bankers yet their connections now expand to nearly every central bank and the IMF and World Bank. Together they form a much-too-big-to-fail global cartel who are in complete control of the world's finances and economy and all industry players are subservient to their command.
Intelligence: The intelligence cartel -- the brain and coordinator of the military-industrial complex -- has always worked to expand and enforce America's corporate interests at home and abroad. Therefore, it may be more appropriate to label them the enforcement cartel. On the homeland, the CIA, NSA, FBI, DHS with their corporate partners are now openly monitoring groups such as peace activists to protect the big military industry, anti-gas drilling protesters to protect big energy, End-the-Fed activists, and organic food producers to protect the big agribusiness -- and anyone else who poses a threat to all of the respective cartels. It seems that if your principles or actions threaten the profits or the control grid, the full force of the intelligence cartel will be used on you. This goes for foreign nations as well.
The CIA has become infamous for staging coups on governments who don't adhere to the will of American-based multinational cartels; every attempted coup now has their fingerprints on it. It has been proven that the CIA is also involved with illegal drug trafficking, torture, and other mafia-style business activities. This intelligence cartel is the glue that keeps the matrix together, or what some refer to as the unelected, unaccountable Shadow Government. After all, they can't allow nations or sovereign people to develop solidarity against the system without squashing it.

After all, they can't allow nations or sovereign people to develop solidarity against the system without squashing it.
Military: The business of war is booming. It makes sense that this industry would be run by a closely knit group directed by the Pentagon due to the sensitivity of their products. Nonetheless, the military-industrial complex is run by a cartel that takes in four times the amount of money we spend on domestic issues. In other words, our society seems okay with spending far more to kill people than to help its citizens. Although this industry covers a wide range of fields other than bullets and missiles, such as chemicals, nuclear, aircraft, etc., the top companies that essentially control this racket are the usual names: Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, Raytheon, and BAE Systems in the UK. Although some of them may appear to be in direct competition, they all make remarkably similar income.
Additionally, the massive amount of government research into the military-industrial complex (also at the taxpayer's expense) has gone on for centuries now and has resulted in this cartel controlling or having a hand in many other industries -- most notably, Big Energy, Big Pharma, and Big Chemical which is also Big Agribusiness. Stated goals for the use of the military-industrial complex have been reported to be full spectrum dominance over human civilization and the eco-system.
Energy: Oil, gas and coal have been the most valuable resources in society for the last 100 years, and there has never been a free market for energy in America, or the world. U.S. Big Oil and Gas has long been run by a cartel, while OPEC is openly called a cartel. Again, there has only ever been a few major oil companies who effectively control the entire industry. These oil companies were originally funded by the European banking cartels, leaving some of the biggest names in America remaining Royal Dutch/Shell and British Petroleum. Since the time of Rockefeller's early-American near-monopoly Standard Oil, the modern-day fossil fuel industry is still ultra-consolidated with Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, Conoco Phillips, and the second-largest privately-owned U.S. company Koch Industries overwhelmingly controlling the U.S. market. It was Rockefeller himself who coined the term "competition is a sin." Although these companies appear minor compared to the world's largest producing oil companies, the same European banking/oil powers dictate to the largest company, "state-owned" Saudi Arabian Oil Co that was originally founded by British Petroleum. The only large companies that appear to be rogues despite their involvement in the Anglo-run OPEC, are the National Iranian Oil Co and Petroleos de Venezuela, which the establishment has conveniently made the enemies of the West.
It is important to note that these monopolies, along with their bankster beneficiaries, were the founding force behind the electric grid as well. Additionally, because petroleum is a natural resource for many other industries such as plastics and agri-chemicals, they effectively have a strong hand in those sectors. Furthermore, massive engineering companies like Halliburton, Bechtel, and General Electric are all off-shoot pyramids of the oil/energy cartel as well. Indeed all industrial activity needs their energy and byproducts, therefore all industrial production is dependent (if not subservient) to Big Oil and Gas.
Food: The food leaders came to realize that there are three basic building blocks from which all food products stem from: corn, wheat, and soy. Those who gain control of these natural resources will sit atop the food industry pyramid. The poster child for the food cartel, GMO-chemical giant Monsanto, has control of 90% of the U.S. soybean crop and 80% of the corn crop, while most of the cotton crop is also grown with seeds containing Monsanto's technology. They have three times the sales of seeds as their nearest competitor, Dupont. It also has been reported that they have systematically bought up the majority of heirloom seed companies, and are rumored to be systematically eliminating heirlooms in favor of their patented GMOs or hybrids. Furthermore, nearly all other industrial crops depend on agri-chemicals sold by Monsanto or Dupont, as well as some dairy farms.
There are also major livestock and poultry monopolies that depend on the corn and soy for feed. Cargill, the largest privately-owned company in America, is also a major player in the cartel. The company that represents the gatekeeper for food processing companies is Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) where cereal grains and oilseeds are processed into products used in food, beverage, nutraceutical, industrial and animal feed markets worldwide. This cartel now fully controls the FDA and USDA and operates a global food empire.

Medicine: The Big Pharma cartel is a Euro-American conglomerate, including big names like Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Roche, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck and others. As Americans continue to eat GMO and other disease-causing foods, the pharmaceutical companies conveniently develop remedies for the most minor ailments. Big Pharma works with establishment psychiatrists that seem to create false demand by inventing new mental disorders every week -- where more than 25% of children in the U.S., nearly 30% of adolescents, and over 50% of adults now take prescription drugs. In addition to those numbers, roughly 50% of the public takes the seasonal flu vaccinations, while 76% of children still get all of their establishment-recommended immunizations. They effectively co-own the FDA (with big chemical-agribusinesses), who are increasingly trying to regulate natural remedies out of the market place. Driven by profit, they admittedly guide the World Health Organization and CDC to fear-monger epidemics and pandemics to push their vaccines and other remedies. Given that every other commercial on television is a drug ad, they have major influence over what constitutes "health news" in the mainstream.
Media: America's Ministry of Truth cartel is primarily made up of only 5 mega-media companies; General Electric, CBS/Viacom, Time Warner, News Corp, and Walt Disney, who control nearly every single channel on the TV and radio dials, in addition to most leading newspapers, magazines, and movies. They are tasked with selling and protecting the cartels' agendas by creating and controlling the public's reality matrix, making it difficult to find outlets to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming. Their news departments are driven by corporate-government propaganda news agencies like Reuters and the Associated Press, where they diligently press the proper fear buttons to get desired responses. Former Director of the CIA, William Colby, disclosed that "The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media."
Feeling threatened by the free flow of information on the Internet this cartel, along with their government thugs, are increasingly trying to tier the level-playing-field Internet into their desired pyramid. The bulge of mainstream news coverage of a possible cyber 'Pearl Harbor' gives sufficient cover for proposed Internet-controlling legislation, while the Pentagon begins collaboration with the Intelligence cartel to monitor all Internet activities. When competition is a sin, and reality cannot be thoroughly controlled by this cartel, we can expect a massive event to frighten the public into submission -- be on the lookout for false flag Internet attacks.
These cartels have wholly consumed our federal government through the revolving door to function as an oligarchy for the wealthy. As long as these cartels are allowed to persist, we will never have truly free market and free consumer choices, let alone a sovereign democracy.

Joe Biden on Taxes: You Call It ‘Redistribution of Wealth,’ I Call It ‘Just Being Fair.’
Comment: Once upon a time, the following article would have angered me because I would have viewed it as a threat to the most disadvantaged people in our society who are in need of some help. Unfortunately, as I have awakened to the fact that most of the taxes taken from "We The People" are not used to help those in need, but actually used to oppress the people and bailout Wall Street and the International Banking Cartel. Whoever still believes that the Federal Government is designed to help the needy is a fool. Our system is corrupt and broken.

All I can say in response to Mr. Biden’s comment is: I’m done. I am so done with this government. Photo: Isafmedia. |
Okay, Mr. Vice President. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I see now that the executive office’s position on wealth is that it is not fair for some to have more wealth than others and the fair thing to do then is to redistribute what some people have to others even if it has to be done without their permission. Wow! Was my Kindergarten teacher Ms. Lund wrong. She taught us that that was called stealing. As you can probably imagine, I’m actually quite upset at her right now for not doing a better job of explaining this to us at age 5 since I see now that I have forgone countless opportunities since then to redistribute wealth my way.
Better late than never though; my neighbor has a smoking hot 1969 Mustang convertible that has been restored to near mint condition. I on the other hand drive a 2006 Ford Escort. I don’t know how my neighbor obtained such a cherry ride but as you said: redistribution of wealth is just being fair so I’m going to redistribute his car to my garage tonight after he goes to bed. I’d do it during the day but I don’t know if he’s read your article today or not, so he might get upset if he hasn’t. Better to just do what is fair and worry about the rest later. Honestly, I’ve wanted his car since the first day I saw it but was struggling with the morality of forcibly taking things that don’t belong to me, until I read your article that says it’s okay.
Your article has given me so many ideas: we are a single income household and most of my friends are two income households, so those guys are way wicked wealthier than me. I think I’ll go sit down with some of them and discuss how much money we have altogether and then suggest that we divide it up equally amongst us. If they insist on being unfair assholes and not voluntarily redistributing their wealth to me and my family, then I’ll just quote you and take it without their permission. Unfortunately, some people in America are just selfish like that.
I can’t tell you what a profound impact this revelation is going to have on my life. Having just had an expensive surgical procedure and not having health insurance I was planning on paying for it out of my own pocket but now I see how un-fair that would be to me and my family when there are so many others in America with more money than us.
It would also seem that I am off the hook for my student loans now as well. I can simply keep putting them off until I die and let the government pay them off for me out of redistributed wealth.
This also changes my whole outlook on life and work. What a fool I’ve been for so long, taking personal responsibility for myself and busting my ass through school and my career in order to ensure that I’d always have the necessary marketable skills to earn a livelihood and provide for my family. When all along what I should have been doing is lobbying politicians like you to just do what is fair and give me more of other people’s money. It would seem all that college education didn’t make me very smart.
Also, I think this is a fantastic opportunity for you and your colleagues in Washington to prove to the electorate that you are a man of action. Considering the median household income in the U.S. last year was $67,000 and your annual income as vice president is almost $270,000 now is your chance to just do what is fair and redistribute three-quarters of your income to 3 other families so you 4 all make about the same income in 2010. What a great day for America. Could I also ask a favor: could you pass this letter along to the Clinton’s and John McCain for me? With their combined net worth of $100 million plus I think it would be beneficial to a number of American families for them to know how to make things in America more fair as well. I wish I could be there when those families get their money.
All kidding and sarcasm aside, all I can say in response to Mr. Biden’s comment is: I’m done. I am so done with this government. I am ashamed of this government. How ridiculous was that to say? How socially irresponsible? How socially destructive? How unconstitutional? How un-American? It ranks right up there with comments like: “Sarah Palin for president.” So it’s obvious that our vice-president advocates taking wealth from those that have it to “spare” – I guess Joey will be the one to decide what that means – and giving it to those that don’t have as much. I challenge anyone to try and convince me how that is in any reasonable way different from the communist manifesto: Karl Marx – “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”
I’m also tired of that lame old political rhetoric that there are “unfortunate” people in America who need help and it’s “American” to help those in need. If it’s so damn “American” then why aren’t American’s helping them voluntarily? Why must the government intervene and force Americans to do what they say is inherently “American”? I’ll tell you why: because the kind of help the government wants has nothing to do with being American. I think American’s are some of the most magnanimous people on the planet, but they also want the freedom to choose their own charitable endeavors. And with every dollar the government taxes us to “just do what is fair” is one more dollar that Americans don’t have to be charitable with. Furthermore, if the government doesn’t run a welfare state then they risk losing a large, dependent cross-section of voters come election time. Now we can’t have that now can we?
Certainly there are those in our society that have fallen upon hard times due to no fault of their own, but I say they are the minority of minorities. The majority of the “unfortunate” ones sat right next to me in public school and are in the economic situation that they are in due to the decisions they’ve made throughout the course of their lives. Some would call me an asshole for expecting people to be responsible for their own lives and dealing with the consequences of their actions and in response I’d say that they are the assholes for feeling entitled to the fruits of the hard work of others.
I can’t tell you how sad it is to me to realize how many socialists and borderline communist-thinking people there actually are in America in 2010. It’s only been 20 years since the fall of communism in Europe and people are talking here now as if it never happened. As if the volumes and volumes of historical evidence on socialism and communism don’t exist. As if a society of social programs, entitlements and redistribution of wealth from the haves to the have-nots is a just, moral and productive society.
The government blatantly and brazenly takes control of auto manufacturers, banks, insurance companies and now they want to control health care and millions of people don’t see anything wrong with that. So few are saying anything.
I don’t even recognize this country anymore, and I’m sure it doesn’t recognize me.
