Man Buys 1 Million Facebook Users’ Personal Information for $5

How much is your personal information worth? How about a data set consisting of over 1 million individual’s personal information complete with their full legal name, personal E-mail address, and URL to their Facebook account as confirmation?

According to one ‘mystery’ company that recently sold 1 million Facebook users’ personal information to a very surprised blogger, not very much at all. About $5, to be specific.

It all started when one blogger, a self-proclaimed seeker of ‘cheap’ deals that pertain to potentially useful or interesting subjects, stumbled across an offer for ’1 million Facebook accounts’ for $5. Skeptical but willing to try it out, the blogger purchased the list to be met with much surprise when he actually personally identified many of the users on the list to be people he actually knew personally. Complete with their personal E-mail address (which Facebook is supposed to keep ‘hidden’), full names, and a link to their page to verify, this blogger had stumbled across a major corporation’s dream come true.

According to the description from the seller of the list, the information was collected through Facebook applications and even checked monthly to ensure validity. The description stated:

The information in this list has been collected through our Facebook apps and consists only of active Facebook users, mostly from the US, Canada, UK and Europe… The list is checked and validated once a month so you won’t get a list full of invalid or duplicate email addresses… this list has a great potential for you.

Chinese Plant Compound Wipes out Cancer in 40 Days, Says New Research

A little-known plant with a truly bizarre name is now making headlines as a cancer killer, with the compound of the plant vanishing tumors in mice with pancreatic cancer. Known as the ‘thunder god vine’ or lei gong teng, the Chinese plant is actually integrated into Chinese medicine and has been used for ages in remedying a number of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis.

According to the new research out of the University of Minnesota’s Masonic Cancer Center, the thunder god plant compound led to no signs of tumors after a 40 day period — even after discontinuing the treatment. Published in the journal Science Translational Medicine and funded by the National Institutes of Health, even the scientists working on the project were stunned by the anti-cancer properties of the compound. Known to contain something known as triptolide, which has been identified as a cancer fighter in previous research, it is thought to be the key component that may be responsible for the anti-tumor capabilities.

Study leader and vice chairman of research at the Cancer Center explained to Bloomberg how he was blown away by the effects of the simple plant:

This drug is just unbelievably potent in killing tumor cells, he said.

Scientists: Creativity Part of ‘Mental Illness’

If you like to express yourself through painting, writing, or any other form of artistic action, scientists now say that you must be suffering from a mental illness of some kind. In a new display of how truly insane the mainstream medical health paradigm has become, mainstream media outlets are now regurgitating the words of ‘experts’ who say that those who are creative are actually, more often than not, mentally ill.

After all, more than 50% of the United States is, by definition of the psychiatrists of the nation, mentally ill. Even questioning the government is considered a mental disorder. It should come as no surprise to know that upwards of 70% of the psychiatrists who write the conditions are — of course — on the payroll of those who produce the drugs to ‘treat’ the conditions. It should also therefore come as no surprise to note that the DSM (the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, which is the foundation of the entire diagnosis system) now contains over 900 pages of bogus disorders.

And perhaps creativity may soon be added to the massive textbook, which labels people who are shy, eccentric, or have unconventional romantic lives as mentally ill.

Even following the subsequent ban on heroin being sold as a drug by Bayer after roughly 26 years of being sold to the public as a ‘scientific’ medical cure, drugs were created to mimic heroin and sold to satiate the rabid market for the heavily addictive drug. But Bayer’s heroin product is not the end of the truly ridiculous vintage Big Pharma products that dominated the medical community for decades upon decades.

Congressmen, Senators Join Massive Grassroots Initiative to Label GMOs

Even many congressmen and senators agree that genetically modified ingredients should be clearly labeled in the food supply.

Joining more than 900,000 individuals who have signed the ”Just Label It” campaign since October -- 55 Republican and Democrat politicians (see all 55) from both the House and Senate signed a letter in support of GMO food labeling. The representatives represent the shockingly high statistic of 92% who state that they support the labeling of GMOs according to a number of studies.

Gaining the most signatures of any labeling initiative in history, the ”Just Label It” campaign asks the FDA to require any food containing genetically modified ingredients to be labeled. As pointed out by the concerned legislators, the FDA currently requires over 3,000 substances to be clearly labeled in food products, so why not genetically modified ingredients?

Furthermore, labeling doesn’t confuse the public, it enables them to make more choices. In their letters, they write:

At issue is the fundamental right consumers have to make informed choices about the food they eat…The agency currently requires over 3,000 other ingredients, additives, and processes to be labeled; providing basic information doesn’t confuse the public, it empowers them to make choices. Absent labeling, Americans are unable to choose for themselves whether to purchase GE foods…We urge you to fully review the facts, law, and science, and side with the American public by requiring the labeling of genetically engineered foods as is done in nearly 50 countries throughout the world.

Perhaps the lack of labeling in the United States has to do with Monsanto’s deep ties with key government organizations and officials. Some key Monsanto officials inside the U.S. government include:

• Margaret Miller was in charge of preparing the report on Monsanto’s synthetic milk hormone rBGH following its approval at Monsanto, and she was later the official in charge of reviewing her own report as Deputy Director of Human Safety and Consultative Services.

• Michael R Taylor was a partner at the law firm that represented Monsanto on a number of subjects. Following this position, Taylor became the FDA’s deputy commissioner for policy, where he wrote the FDA’s labeling guidelines for Monsanto’s creations. Taylor then spent a few years working directly for Monsanto, and has been brought back by Barack Obama as the Food Safety Czar.

These are but a few key Monsanto personnel now stationed deep within the United States government.

It has also been revealed that Monsanto has control of virtually all U.S. diplomats, and the company has even used its massive influence to force other nations to accept their genetically modified crops through economic threats and political pressure.

USDA Caves to Action Groups, Drops ‘Pink Slime’ From School Lunches

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) says that school lunch programs can now drop the famous ‘pink slime‘ filler in cafeteria meals served to children.

Treated with toxic ammonium hydroxide and fed to unknowing consumers in schools and restaurants alike, the pink slime has gained significant attention as action groups and health advocates across the globe have been calling attention to the presence of the hazardous filler.

The news comes after fast food giant McDonald’s was forced to stop using the substance in their burgers amid public outcry.

Pink slime consists of what’s left over after all the muscular cuts of beef have been taken from a cow. In addition to the ammonia and other chemicals, experts say that the meat is not compromised of muscle, but fat trimmings and connective tissue that has been separated from the bone. In other words, scrap meat that really isn’t fit for human consumption. The ammonia comes in to kill off the bacterial contaminants that may be lurking on the meat, and afterwards it is minced. The result? A pink and slimy ‘meat’ substitute that provides virtually no nutritional value.

So why are children being fed this ‘meat garbage’? Celebrity chef James Oliver led the campaign against McDonald’s to stop using pink slime in their products, explaining exactly how the processed slime is entirely unfit for human ingestion:

'Basically, we’re taking a product that would be sold at the cheapest form for dogs and after this process we can give it to humans,' said the TV chef.

We are increasingly seeing government organizations and food corporations alike take action in response to consumer outrage. With the possible ban of cancer-causing bisphenol A (BPA) put forth by the FDA, and the exclusion of the substance from Campbell’s products, we are seeing a serious paradigm shift in the corporate food monopoly.

With pink slime now being ousted as a health threat and subsequently removed, it’s time to continue the proverbial charge against all health threats far and wide.

McDonald’s Forced to Stop Using Ammonia-Tainted ‘Pink Slime’ in Meat

McDonald’s has recently caved to consumer demands to cease the utilization of ‘pink slime’ scrap meat covered with ammonium hydroxide in their hamburgers and chicken sandwiches.

The announcement highlights the fact that there are many health-crushing additives within the McDonald’s menu, and the reason that their hamburgers absolutely wreak havoc on your body actually has little to do with their high calorie and fat content. In fact, McDonald’s absolutely loves when health professionals neglect to mention the toxic ingredients hidden in their food.

The change was mostly made possible by Jamie Oliver, a celebrity chef who has recently gone on a campaign against the fast food giant.

The debate as to whether or not genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are causing serious health issues like infertility and even death is proclaimed as ‘heated’ and ‘inconclusive’ by the mainstream media, but even the very scientists working behind the scenes appear to acknowledge the very reality of their effects. In one such communication I received from a very angry biotech scientist who proclaimed it was ‘awesome’ if GMOs were causing mass infertility and death, it becomes tragically clear that even many of the scientists working in the biotech field know full well that GMOs are causing significant bouts of disease across the globe.

‘Biofarms’ to Integrate Vaccines, Pharmaceuticals into GMO ‘Biopharmaceutical’ Crops

The truth really is much stranger than fiction, especially when it comes to the open and admitted future plans of major biotechnology companies. One such case involves a biotech company known as ProdiGene, the officials of which actually faced jail time back in 2002 for contaminating the traditional food supply with ‘biopharmaceutical’ crops that were growing pharmaceuticals and vaccine components associated with AIDS, diabetes, and diarrhea. 

Contaminating 500,000 bushels of soy with their biopharmaceutical corn that contained pharmaceutical and vaccine components associated with deadly diseases, the company was slapped with a minor $500,000 fine by the USDA (the same government organization that gives Monsanto’s crops special speed approval and ignores the company’s blatant disregard for its regulations). As it turns out, the pharmaceutical crops were actually mixed in with traditional crops and unknowing farmers had already planted the crops for human consumption. The USDA claims, however, that the crops were confiscated. 

YouTube Removes Undercover Video Showing Whole Foods GMO Misinformation

Youtube has pulled an undercover ‘Organic Spies’ video questioning Whole Foods employees as to whether or not any of the products within Whole Foods contained GMO ingredients. Created to show how even the employees themselves are misinformed (or even dishonest) about the very real presence of Monsanto’s GMOs in a store like Whole Foods that is supposed to promote health and wellness, the Organic Spies video received over 100,000 views in a few short days.

The video has since been removed due to apparently ‘violating the Terms of Service’, according to the genetic Youtube message that appears in place of the original video. As Infowars.com’s Aaron Dykes explains, this could be due to a third party complaint (such as Whole Foods demanding it be taken down), but it is not known as YouTube no longer tells the user of the third party identity. In other words, videos like these can be taken down without a trace of who is responsible.

Barbarism: Doctors Now Encouraging Patients to Remove Body Parts to ‘Prevent Cancer’

Glorified as a heart warming ‘preventative’ trend by the mainstream media, doctors are now recommending that patients who are found to be ‘more susceptible’ to certain cancers based on genetic testing actually surgically remove body parts that could be affected. It sounds insane and beyond barbaric (as it is), but apparently the mainstream medical community thinks it is quite the heroic feat to perform bodily mutilation in the name of phony cancer prevention.

In a recent CNN article entitled “My preventive mastectomy: Staying alive for my kids,” a mother removes both her breasts and ovaries despite not testing positive for cancer. Stating that she did so at the urging of her gynecologist, Allison Gilbert, surgically removed her ovaries in 2007 and her breasts earlier this year. Gilbert explains how she decided to remove her breasts and ovaries after her doctor highly recommended doing so despite the fact that nutrition and lifestyle actually can alter your gene expression dramatically:

The decision to have surgery without having cancer wasn’t easy, but it seemed logical to me. My mother, aunt and grandmother have all died from breast or ovarian cancer, and I tested positive for the breast cancer gene.

Monsanto’s Fading Grasp – Group Calls on South Africa to Ban GMO Corn

Following in the footsteps of nations like France and Russia, South Africa may soon be the latest nation to enact a ban on Monsanto’s GMO corn that was recently linked to tumor development and organ damage in rats. South Africa’s African Centre for Biosafety (ACB), a watchdog organization that was created to protect consumers from various biotechnology dangers, is now calling on South African authorities to enact a ban on Monsanto’s tumor-linked maize crop known as NK603.

This is particularly important when it comes to South Africa as white corn is a large staple food, making up for 80% of the harvest just last year. In the event that the maize were to be banned, it would be a major hit for Monsanto and an even larger victory for the 50,586,757 people who live in South Africa. If authorities take the advice of ACB, then it would not only ban the cultivation of the GMO corn, but the import and export as well. In a letter to the South African minister of agriculture, the ACB said:

We urge the South African government to take the necessary steps to protect its citizens.

Is the end of Monsanto within reach? It has certainly been a rough couple of weeks for the mega corporation as the real dangers surrounding GMOs are being brought to the attention of consumers on a global scale like never before.

It all started with the monumental French study finding a serious link between the consumption of Monsanto’s Roundup-drenched GMOs and massive tumors. Being called the ‘most thorough’ research ever published on the real health effects of GMOs, the study led to even larger victories.

After the study not only did France call for a potential worldwide ban on GMOs pending the results of their in-depth analysis, but Russia’s major consumer rights organization announced a ban on both the importation and use of Monsanto’s GMO corn.

Just when you thought the news couldn’t get any stranger regarding the disturbing state of the agricultural industry, it most certainly has.

In an effort to slash costs and increase profits, livestock corporations have now begun feeding their cattle super cheap processed foods like cookies, gummy worms, chocolate, fruit loops and a whole list of candies. Fattening up the cattle thanks to a large percentage of sugar content and no real nutritional value, the disease-riddled cattle end up fetching a larger price for farm owners.

The fruit loops-fed cattle also may end up on your dinner table, harboring even more dangerous additives than even cattle fed a diet of corn. Before accounting for the new diet of cookies and candy, conventionally raised cattle meat contains oftentimes an excessive amount of antibiotics (now admitted to be harming human health internationally), artificial hormones such as Monsanto’s cloned growth hormone rBGH, resistant bacteria, genetically modified organisms (from corn) and other contaminants. Now, however, a few new problematic substances have entered the equation.
