The more that scientists discover about the complexities of the human brain, the more puzzling it has become. The new trend of NeuroGaming is employing some of its users to help register their neural pathways and aid science in arriving at the final frontier.

As discussed in the recent article 7 Future Methods of Mind Control, devices and gadgets are a simple way to introduce the really cool aspects of building one's own ultimate prison. We only need to consider the vast benefits that Internet communication and all of its attendant applications offer to the user ... until, in the end, it has been openly revealed as a giant spy grid that sweeps up data on anyone and everyone connected to it.

The same is most likely the case, and worse, with NeuroGaming; it brings neuroscience directly to the user, creating a two-way interface that literally provides the mechanism to decode one's thoughts.

Activists and "Anarchists" are New Video Game Villains

For years I have been writing about the increased propagandizing of video games, specifically first person shooters. Back in July the popular game Call of Dutyannounced their most recent villain as “the leader of the 99%”. Now it seems that this more overt approach to propaganda in video games is becoming a trend, as another new game has set up a storyline where the villains are violent terrorists who are labeled as “anarchists”.

On August 21, 2012 Valve Corporation and Hidden Path Entertainment released Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the most recent game in their “Counter Strike” series. One new addition to the “terrorist team” in this game is a group of machine gun wielding masked men called “the anarchists”. In the past the Counter Strike series has also vilified militias as terrorist groups, using the Midwest militia as their strawman.

We’ve covered the ongoing link between popular video game series Call of Duty and the use of torture against enemies in length before. The newest edition of the series, with a plot that heavily involves biochemical engineering (bio-weapons), features a scene where you torture someone by sticking a shard of glass in their mouth and punching them repeatedly.
