REPORT: POLICE TOLD TO STAND DOWN DURING LOOTING IN FERGUSON


Plenty of militarized cops out in force to harass peaceful protesters and journalists; AWOL when actual looting takes place.  According to at least one eyewitness, police also stood idly by during last week’s round of looting, as well. (Source)

Armored vehicles rolled back onto the streets of Ferguson early Saturday, as riot police faced off with looters in the Missouri town gripped by protests since the fatal police shooting of an unarmed black teen.The violence broke the brief period of calm that had settled over Ferguson, Missouri, after outrage over the shooting of Michael Brown spilled over.Protests had started off peacefully in Ferguson on Friday night. Rev. Jesse Jackson linked arms with protesters, leading them in prayer and urging them to “turn pain into power” while fighting back non-violently, NBC Affiliate KSDK reported. Crowds turned rowdy and looting later broke out, according to KSDK.Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson said some in the crowd began throwing rocks and other objects at police, according to The Associated Press.Tear gas was deployed and riot police moved in, with some locals forming lines to protect local businesses from looters. Read More



 We can expect an increase in violence since the Department of Justice has sent in "Marshals" to "Coach" the Protesters along with the inevitable race baiting charlatans, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.  

 As Craig R. Smith wrote back in 2007 following the alleged rape at Duke University:
In my opinion, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are the definition of racism in America. Their racist reactions often times harm race relations more than they help. When will both the black and white communities alike hold these ”reverends” accountable? They are supposed to be peacemakers. Most of the fruit I see from them is far from peaceful or restorative. Their actions tend to drive a deep wedge amongst our citizens. And for what? To line their pockets?
I just hope this latest example of racism coming from Jackson and Sharpton exposes the hypocrisy that propels these charlatans. The reverends assume if an alleged crime is white on black then the accused is guilty until proven innocent. If it is a black on white or black on black crime then we must assume innocence at all costs. And if they do turn out to be guilty, it is someone else’s fault … poverty, fatherless upbringing, the ”man” holding them back.
People from all walks of life commit crimes. When a crime is committed we all must assume innocence. That goes for Jesse and Al as well. In this case the reverends should be sued. Sued for big money until they realize that their thirst for the camera can not take priority over one of the most basic tenets of our legal system – innocent until proven guilty. Regardless of skin color.
Future hijackings of public opinion by race baiters should cost them personally. It is only when hate-filled men like Jesse and Al are called to account for their actions that we will see racism banished to the place it belongs.
If you want to see racism stop in America we must hold people responsible for irresponsible speech and behavior. Screaming ”fire” in a crowded theater is not protected by the First Amendment and neither should the language of racism.
Ferguson residents are also fed up with the likes of Al Sharpton, as well as Barack Obama.

VIDEO: Pro-gun Sheriff David Clarke speaks out on Ferguson, MO ... the militarization of police ... and the ridiculous notion that the "availability of guns" is a problem in Missouri. 

 He also addresses the presence of Al Sharpton and other groups in response to an obviously leading question by host, Neil Cavuto.




Meanwhile, the majority of Ferguson residents are working together to protect one another and "clean up" their city.









Scenes earlier this week of officers in military-style gear atop armored vehicles and training guns on protesters sparked a national outrage.
