You'd think from most corporate media reports: the only choice this year is either Obama or Romney. They just don't get it. Issues not politics as usual are actually going to play an important part in this presidential election. Gary Johnson, Judge Jim Gray and Ron Paul agree on nearly every single issue that matters to true patriots: liberty-minded Americans.
Big corporations and governments are often lacking in conscience and empathy. These are psychopathic tendencies by definition!
A more accurate label for our "government" would be, "criminal gang," though many will find that shocking due to the Stockholm Syndrome. The entire world suffers from Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to politicians and The State. If you or I kill, rape, assault, steal, or defraud, we are criminals and the same moral standards must apply to government. They can NOT magically turn wrong into right. No matter how hard they try with the Euphemism Disease, allowing the speaker to make criminal and immoral acts sound virtuous. For example: using threats of violence to take money from people against their will, don't call it theft or looting or legalized extortion or larceny - call it forfeiture, taxation, insurance or investment.
Some of our leaders live in a state of denial. Others are like bad horseman; too concerned about staying in the saddle to worry about where they are headed. Many are outright servants of tyranny; good at ignoring the rule of law, history and science while catering to the needs of special interests but very bad at determining what is best or safer for the individual or society.
Obama gave us small change and worse totally backed out on his promises to drug law reformers. In an Obamanation of our founding principles, this administration ejected medical marijuana patients from the workplace, threw them out of public housing, took away their ability to buy a gun, closed down their dispensaries and has shown total disregard for the lives and safer choices of our injured veterans. Big government is an abomination of the American dream of self-government, free of tyranny and oppression.
A declaration is an affirmation. Independence means self-government. They could have called it, The Affirmation of Self-Government. However I am sure we can all agree, The Declaration of Independence, sounds way more cool! The people believe in self-government and self-medication.
All who follow a code of ethics or principles are self-governors. Our system is meant to protect the self-governors from those without ethics and principles, perpetrators of fraud, rape and violence. The state does not run the affairs of people in a free society. It upholds justice between people who conduct their own affairs.
Our Founding Documents are based on principles that Christians and many other faiths hold dear. The Holy Spirit lives in all of us, whether we acknowledge it or not! It is the part of us that is eternal. and strives for good over evil. The Spirit of '76 was the Holy Spirit and is our true north.
Remember George Washington implored us to, "Labor to keep alive in your breast that little spark of celestial fire, called conscience."
There is a fine legal line between lobbying and bribery. A nation where bribery has become a way of life is a kleptocracy. A brilliant friend suggested all Members of Congress should be compelled to wear uniforms just like NASCAR drivers, so we can have no doubt about their corporate sponsors. Follow the money; track political donations in all 50 states.
The tobacco, alcohol and prescription drug gangs cause more death annually than all illicit drugs! It is morally bankrupt to punish nonviolent adults for making a safer health choice, cannabis or marijuana, compared to other medicinal/social drugs.
Morally bankrupt financiers, industrialists, empire builders and leaders in their pockets make capitalism abhorrent with their predatory capitalism. Predatory capitalism, due to big government interference and protection, destroys people. Benign or ethical capitalism, America's founders' vision of the free market, creates a world of abundance for all.
Shame all these distasteful, warmongering industries and big government servants of tyranny for their booming economy based on the suffering of others!! Shame them in every letter and conversation that applies, please. Make predatory capitalism unfashionable.
WE, the consumers, are all powerful! We can refuse to buy from morally bankrupt sellers responsible for causing harm, destroying people or our environment. The free market is a more powerful and efficient regulator than government. Downsize DC, make that LEAP of faith to let ethics, compassion and the free market rule! Get tough on violent crime!
Perhaps you thought Uncle Sam was a benevolent spirit but harassing disabled, sick and dying citizens over their medicinal, safer drug of choice is despicable and the most un-American activity I can think of! -Johnson's VP Candidate, Judge Jim Gray gives one of the best arguments ever for legal marijuana.
Animal and human mother's milk are packed full of cannabinoids. Breast milk is the largest natural source of cannabinoids in the world except for the cannabis plant. The true facts are cannabis plants and our bodies have inborn occurring endocannabinoids or signaling molecules that activate cannabinoid receptors within our brains. Endocannabinoids are essential to nurturing new life. Some scientists speculate that cannabinoids play a protective role in the brain, slowing the rate of disease.
Smoked cannabis is good but the medicinal oil is better. Placing no limit on the number of plants allows patients to grow enough to make oil and ingest medicine in a healthier way. Ooooops! Who spilled the beans? SCIENTISTS and PATIENTS all over the world, that's who!
Blood is on the hands of all who support this insane Drug War II. It is soft on public safety, out-of-control policy. Across America paramilitary drug raids trigger violence rather than lesson the risk.
Politicians who use the, "they don't want to be considered soft on crime" argument for continuing DWII are ignorant of science and history or have minds like concrete: totally mixed up and permanently set. Most of the unconscionable warmongers are profiting, probably under the table, on the suffering of others with this demented, irrational policy.
The carnage and crime associated with illicit drugs are triggered by our idiotic, punitive policy. Notice alcohol distributors no longer kill off the competition!
We have better use for our taxes than to spend them having probationers pee in a cup, imprisoning them if they fail. Prisons propagate crime, violence and sexual deviance. Putting nonviolent offenders in this breeding ground is truly madness.
I am afraid! Violent predators roam free, rape kits go unprocessed, schools go under funded, roads need repair while our precious resources are depleted chasing nonviolent drug users.
The destruction of the sacred family unit and prison over population are some of the worst consequences of current policy. Being poor is the key factor to prison population. The poor, no matter what color, receive little legal council of any use. "In America you can have all the freedom and justice money can buy you." Says Rusty White, a recovering drug warrior from LEAP.
The history of drug use before drug prohibition shows that "crime" was not connected to drug use when addicts could buy all of the heroin, morphine, cocaine and any other drug they wanted cheaply and legally at the corner pharmacy. Before our punitive policies people who witnessed an overdose could report it without fear of arrest and deaths were easily prevented.
The military and law enforcement have recruitment problems because current policy attracts those interested in working in a corrupt system and milking it, thereby creating a pervasive disrespect for the law. Our system could run with the milk of human kindness, if America had the ethical, efficient and constitutionally limited government our founders envisioned.
We all agree drug abuse is a problem! Reformers say there is a better way to handle it. Save lives instead of ruining them. Get tough on violent crime!
Tell the servants of tyranny they do not have our consent to police the world, the market or what we, as individuals choose as our medicinal/social drugs. Less than 1% of US are actually addicted to anything illegal. Prison costs seven times treatment. Save lives instead wasting or ruining them. Get tough on violent crime! Show fiscal responsibility, demand morally correct policy!
Restore Justice, the guardian of liberty! Use resources to catch or prevent violent offenders like James Holmes and sexual predators like Phillip Garrido. Incarcerate more of those morally bankrupt, selling drugs to children or driving intoxicated. Drug warriors can get their adrenaline rush chasing murderers and sexual predators.
Return to our roots of self-government, make us the land of the free in reality, with the lowest prison population in the world! We will not find a better pair than Johnson and Gray to vote into our top two offices, with both in strong support of legalization, the free market and NOT policing the world..
The real cause of this huge quagmire of failed policy is the beast, big government, that money hungry beast, Uncle Sam! Ma Freedom tells it like it is! The beauty of it is when we focus on down-sizing our government we regain our roots of self-government and secure the blessings of liberty for future generations and ourselves.
