Judge Napolitano Weighs in for FOX About DHS Plans To Begin Testing Portable DNA Scanner (Video)

After we released the article, DNA "Genetic Patdown" Introduced to Airports by DHS, we quickly received a TSA comment on our site from Blogger Bob, the web name for a Program Analyst with the Office of Strategic Communications and Public Affairs.  Here are his exact words:

The TSA blog page gives a short rebuttal to the original article, upon which ours was based, that said in part:

DHS S&T expects to receive a prototype DNA analyzer device this summer to conduct a preliminary evaluation of whether this kind of technology could be considered for future use. At this time, there are no DHS customers, nor is there a timeline for deployment, for this kind of technology - this is a simply a preliminary test of how the technology performs. 

Again, TSA is not testing and has no plans to use any technology capable of testing DNA.

So can we believe Blogger Bob and the TSA?

By now, the entire alternative news media has examined this topic and concluded that despite the fact that there may be no announced date of arrival for this technology in airports, if it is being worked on by DHS it is a sure bet to be employed by the TSA once it is concluded to be effective.


Mike Adams sounded the alarm that DNA harvesting is sure to arrive with the new scanner, and provided additional background on similar programs already in effect.  Paul Joseph Watson highlighted the most recent in a long string of TSA lies and abuses, as it was revealed that they herded people into a grope-down area after disembarking a train in Savannah, then later lied by saying that people went voluntarily.  And, today, Judge Napolitano weighed in for FOX News on his interpretation of what the TSA has done already to violate our rights, and what we can expect from any government initiative that involves more surveillance and control:



So far, based on TSA conduct that has run the gamut from creepy behavior to sexual assault, there is absolutely no reason to trust them, or their representatives.  If they are given the technology being worked on by DHS in partnership with NetBio to harvest DNA in real time, it's a safe bet to say that their hands will be firmly placed in our jeans -- and our genes.
