Will the "cyber threat" be the next bin Laden?

John Galt
Activist Post

Osama bin Laden and the shadowy network of terrorists he supposedly spawned has been the perfect template for controlling physical reality.  The fear created by 9/11, and the even worse fear of having it happen again, has bludgeoned common sense from the average person.  The Constitution itself has been overthrown, unleashing roving bands of state-sponsored goons to interrogate, molest, and kill with impunity.

And this is only what is happening in America.  The engineered financial collapse of the planet has led to a near-worldwide insurrection, whether it is directed specifically toward banksters, or merely in response to soaring food prices in areas already on the verge of starvation.  Globalists are attempting to head off Arab unrest by staging controlled opposition to bring the masses back in line, and to an extent it has worked, albeit in predictably messy fashion.  However, formerly isolated collapse/revolts such as Iceland, Ireland, and Greece are beginning to spread across Europe in a seemingly unstoppable wave of largely non-violent protest.  The response by government to this threat has been to restrict peaceful assembly and bash heads in lieu of proposing sound solutions and redressing legitimate grievances.

The acceleration of the violent police state response has not been without consequence for the controllers.  An increasing number of people are beginning to see what living under hot tyranny can really be like.  More importantly, it is evident from videos in France, particularly, that people the world over are beginning to awaken to the true culprits who are bringing about their debt slavery and loss of freedom.  This is due in large part to the one place where freedom still rings: the Internet.

Computer expert says US behind Stuxnet worm

A German computer security expert said Thursday he believes the United States and Israel's Mossad unleashed the malicious Stuxnet worm on Iran's nuclear program.

"My opinion is that the Mossad is involved," Ralph Langner said while discussing his in-depth Stuxnet analysis at a prestigious TED conference in the Southern California city of Long Beach.

"But, the leading source is not Israel... There is only one leading source, and that is the United States."

There has been widespread speculation Israel was behind the Stuxnet worm that has attacked computers in Iran, and Tehran has blamed the Jewish state and the United States for the killing of two nuclear scientists in November and January.

Iran Acknowledges Espionage At Nuclear Facilities

Ali Akbar Dareini
Associated Press

TEHRAN - Iran revealed for the first time Saturday that some personnel at the country's nuclear facilities were lured by promises of money to pass secrets to the West, but said increased security and worker privileges have put a stop to the spying.

The stunning acknowledgment by Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi provides the clearest government confirmation that Iran has been fighting espionage at its nuclear facilities.

In recent weeks, Iran has announced the arrest of several nuclear spies and battled a computer worm that it says is part of a covert Western plot to derail its nuclear program. And in July, a nuclear scientist who Iran says was kidnapped by U.S. agents returned home in mysterious circumstances, with the U.S. saying he was a willing defector who was offered $5 million by the CIA but then changed his mind.

The United States and its allies have vigorously sought to slow Iran's nuclear advances through U.N. and other sanctions out of suspicion that Tehran intends to use a civil program as cover for developing weapons. Iran denies any such aim and says it only wants to generate nuclear power.

Iran's semiofficial Fars news agency quoted Salehi as saying that some nuclear personnel had access to information about Iran's plans for "foreign purchases and commercial affairs." The report did not elaborate on the precise nature of the information or the timeframe over which the spying took place.

"Now, these routes have been blocked. The possibility of information leaking is almost impossible now," Salehi was quoted as saying.

"Our colleagues were awakened. ... The personnel and managers have all reached the conclusion that this is a national issue and that we should ... resolve our problems among ourselves."

Salehi is also the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. His predecessor, Gholam Reza Aghazadeh had said in April 2008 that some of the nation's nuclear scientists had been approached by the West but did not accept offers to spy.

Saturday's revelation was the first public word that some personnel have engaged in espionage. With the announcement, Iran appears to be trying to raise public awareness about what it says are plots by the U.S. and its allies to derail Iran's nuclear activities.
