Man Left Sitting in Prison for Months for "Possession" of Vitamins

Amanda Warren

Unfortunately, the police state has reached the point of consummation. While a person should be able to go out unmolested and carry vitamins, supplements, food, protein drinks to go or even ride in a car with a dirty spoon on the floor - each individual runs the risk of the dreaded "drug-dealer" accusation. That accusation is only the beginning of a cascading nightmare.

While it should be a no-brainer and an easy situation to clear up, it simply isn't with such a mucked up system that treats citizens like heinous murderers.

This was the case for 31-year-old Joseph Burrell of Mankato, Minnesota. Last November, Burrell was jailed in a parking lot for possessing a "white powder" after police stopped him for driving without lights. Some kind of field drug test falsely identified it as amphetamine drugs, writes John Vibes.

School Cop Inflicts Brain Damage on One Kid, Punches One Who Cut in Line

Amanda Warren

It took investigation into security camera footage to prove that indeed, a Louisville, KY school officer was terrorizing and assaulting children. Unfortunately, it also took two different incidents before the situation was taken seriously.

This is worrying on many levels. The school resource officer at Olmsted Academy North Middle School was 31-year-old Jonathan Hardin, of the LMPD. He was not removed from the position after the first assault - another soon followed.

In January he pushed and punched a 13-year-old in the face, knocking the kid to the floor, whom he believed had cut in line in the cafeteria. He charged the student for menacing and resisting arrest (!) and acted on it under lies. The middle-schooler then had to be treated at Kosair Hospital.

11-Year-Old Girl Pushed Down, Pinned and Held at Gunpoint in Home

Amanda Warren

One of the perils of having an alarm system is - which is worse? The thugs who might have invaded your home or the ones dispatched to the "rescue."

In the case of one family, the home alarm system had been inadvertently turned on last Sunday, leaving them blissfully unaware of what would happen next.

No knock. Not even a "we're here to help!" Two Groveland, Florida officers let themselves into the home through the garage. Guns a blazin' - only to find a little girl watching television on her bed.She must be the burglar! (Yeah, right.)

At this point, all the focus of police force they could muster beamed in on her, as they began "protecting" her.

An ongoing story concerning a former South Carolina police chief who killed an unarmed man has recently received a great deal of national attention. Much of the press, even in the alternative media, has been positive because it marks one of the rare times an officer even makes it into the courtroom after taking a life.

Any hopeful expectations of justice came crashing down, however, when on Tuesday morning a hung jury prompted the judge to declare a mistrial.

Bernard Bailey had come to his daughter's assistance when now ex-police chief Richard Combs pulled her over for a broken tail light in 2011. Unbeknownst to Bailey, Combs had taken out an arrest warrant on Bailey for obstruction of justice. He sat on it for seven weeks until....

Tips from MSM: How Not to Get Raped By a Police Officer

Amanda Warren

Recently, a string of Oklahoma law enforcement officers have been outed for untold numbers of female sexual assault victims at their hands while on duty. Some lurid details appear in this Associated Press story.

Have you seen the picture on the right floating around online? Were you shocked by it like I was? While it doesn't accurately depict exactlywhat was said, except for the words inside quotes, it is indeed the underlying message.

Actually, it's much, much worse than that if you view the news segment it was taken from. Here below we have not only Captain George Brown's comments on protecting oneself from sexual assault by cops, but a news segment with tips - subtly suggesting that women should get used to the idea of potential rape while interacting with police.

Cops Admit On Video That They Targeted Activist

The question of who the police really work for was answered by the police themselves following the Jordan Valley Big Loop Rodeo in Oregon on May 19.

Whereas it is the duty of true public servants to uphold the Constitution for each individual citizen, such was not the duty of Oregon's Malheur County Sheriff's Department.

It all began when an anti-rodeo activist, Steve Hindy, had been targeted for harassment by the rodeo board representing the rodeo he was protesting against. You see, it was they who called in the directions to conduct an illegal traffic stop. After all, what are those (paid) "relationships" with the police department for, right? And, naturally, where there is one instance of a corrupt police department, there are often more to be cited. The revealing video below explains.

If you wish to call the Malheur County Sheriff's Department, the number is (541) 473-5510.
Sheriff Brian Wolfe can be emailed at: bwolfe@malheurco.org
Dan Norris, District Attorney, (541) 473-5127, dnorris@malheurco.org

Please let us know what the sheriff and district attorney have to say about this outrageous conduct!

New Court Ruling Makes it Easier for Police to Track Your Cell Phone

A Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling this week will make it easier for police to track your movements through your cell phone after the court decided police aren't required to obtain a search warrant to track you.

The case involved a 2010 law enforcement request to obtain 60 days of cell phone location records from two cell phone companies. The government wanted to identify which cell phone towers a particular phone number had connected to in order to place a suspect at the scene of a crime, and submitted a request under the Stored Communication Act ("SCA") for access. The magistrate judge denied the request, understanding that records revealing your daily movements could show where you worship, what your medical conditions might be, and what political issues might interest you, not to mention who your friends and family are. It therefore rightfully ordered the government to apply for a search warrant supported by probable cause before accessing this sensitive data.

Federal court: no warrant is required for law enforcement to track your location via cell phone records

A federal appeals court has ruled that law enforcement agencies are not required to obtain a warrant in order to track your location through your cell phone records.

This is hardly a surprising decision given that other judges have said that cell phone users have “no legitimate expectation of privacy,” some in the house have said no warrant should be required to acquire geolocation data, and the Obama administration claims location data is not protected by the Fourth Amendment.

The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans supported this trend earlier the week by overturning a federal judge in Houston, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The court ruled that cell phone records are the property of your carrier and thus are not protected by the Fourth Amendment’s probable cause standard.

Police Defend Bank that Looted Wrong House, Won't Return Items or Pay

Ohio takes the cake again on Activist Post by being a state that defends bank robbers - that is banks who rob.

Katie Barnett of McArthur came home a few weeks ago to find everything in the house gone. She eventually discovered that First National bank mistakenly foreclosed the wrong house -- but kept her stuff. Not only did they clear everything out like the Grinch, but they changed the locks. Their actual foreclosure target had been the house across the street.

This matters not to the bank president who responded to her $18,000 estimate for wrongfully stolen goods with a firm:

We’re not paying you retail here, that’s just the way it is.
But they make no attempt for remedy and the actual translation is: Oops, nothing we can do now. (Without the Oops)
