Pet Owners Beware: Animal Control Agencies Killing Dogs Over Unpaid Fees

Lily Dane

Keep a close eye on your dogs: animal control agencies across the US are hitting pet owners with large fines for small violations – and some are killing the pets of those who can’t afford to pay up.

CNN Money posted a disturbing article titled "Dogs Killed Over Unpaid Fines" that exposes the atrocities:

In a number of cities across the country, animal control agencies are aggressively going after pet owners with big fines for small violations. Some hold people’s pets until they settle their bills, even if it means they end up killed. Others leave the dogs alone but issue arrest warrants for owners who can’t pay up.

Blood Money: These Companies and People Make Billions of Dollars From War

Lily Dane

War against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think they are going to profit from it. –George Orwell

The late United States Marine Corps Major GeneralSmedley D. Butler is perhaps most famous for his post-retirement speech titled “War is a Racket.” In the early 1930s, Butler presented the speech on a nationwide tour. It was so popular that he wrote a longer version as a small book that was published in 1935.

Butler points to a variety of examples, mostly from World War I, where industrialists whose operations were subsidized by public funding were able to generate substantial profits essentially from mass human suffering.

Serve and Protect is Now “Search and Destroy”

Lily Dane

Anyone who has been paying attention is aware that we have a growing domestic terrorism problem here in America.

And by domestic terrorism, I mean our militarized police departments.

Here’s how the FBI defines domestic terrorism, from their website:

“Domestic terrorism” means activities with the following three characteristics:
  • Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law;
  • Appear intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
  • Occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S.
Indeed, uniformed thugs police officers kill more Americans every year than terrorists do. In fact, we are eight times more likely to be killed by a cop than by a “terrorist.”

Lies Exposed: DOJ Admits “Missing” IRS Emails DO Exist

Lily Dane

In a stunning turn of events, Department of Justice attorneys for the IRS admitted that Lois Lerner’s emails DO exist on a backup server, but said they would be hard to find.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton broke the news today:
Department of Justice attorneys for the Internal Revenue Service told Judicial Watch on Friday that Lois Lerner’s emails, indeed all government computer records, are backed up by the federal government in case of a government-wide catastrophe.  The Obama administration attorneys said that this back-up system would be too onerous to search.
The DOJ attorneys also acknowledged that the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) is investigating this back-up system.

City Evicts Elderly Man from His Tent in the Woods – by Ruthlessly Demolishing it in Front of His Eyes

Lily Dane

Sam is a 70-year-old man who lived in Tent City, an encampment site in the forest in Lakewood Township, NJ.

He lived in a home he constructed out of a wood frame and tarps. Last month, the camp, which housed 80-120 people over the last ten years or so, was closed by local authorities. Housing structures in the camp were demolished.

Police State USA reported that Sam was one of the unfortunate souls who lost his home when the government decided to come in and destroy the camp:

FBI Scandal: Flawed Forensics Rampant, Impacted Many Cases

Lily Dane
Over two years ago, the Justice Department and the FBI began a review of thousands of criminal cases to determine if any defendants were wrongfully convicted based on flawed forensic testimony.

The review included 2,600 convictions and 45 death-row cases from the 1980s and 1990s in which the FBI’s hair and fiber unit reported a match to a crime-scene sample before DNA testing of hair became common.

More IRS and DEA Secrets and Cover-ups Revealed

The existence of an IRS manual that detailed a program used by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has been revealed. The manual funneled tips to federal agents and then instructed them on how to scrub the investigative trail clean.

Reuters reports:

A 350-word entry in the Internal Revenue Manual instructed agents of the U.S. tax agency to omit any reference to tips supplied by the DEA’s Special Operations Division, especially from affidavits, court proceedings or investigative files. The entry was published and posted online in 2005 and 2006, and was removed in early 2007. The IRS is among two dozen arms of the government working with the Special Operations Division, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency.
On Monday, Reuters reported that the sources of the tips included information from overseas NSA intercepts, domestic wiretaps, a large database of DEA phone records, and informants from other investigations.

Benghazi Insiders Fear CIA: “You don’t jeopardize yourself, you jeopardize your family as well.”

A few days ago, President Obama, White House press secretary Jay Carney, and several Democratic members of Congress referred to the Benghazi attack as a “phony scandal.”

CNN is now reporting that “dozens of CIA operatives were on the ground during the Benghazi attack.” The fact that the CIA was in Benghazi is not new information; the second part of the Benghazi attack was on the CIA annex there (of course, that part of the tragedy was not well publicized).

The bigger – and more telling – part of the CNN report is this:

Sources now tell CNN that the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing remains a secret. The CIA is involved in what one source calls an unprecedented attempt to keep the spy agency’s Benghazi secrets from ever leaking out.
The Obama administration is working awfully hard to keep information about a “phony scandal” from becoming public knowledge, aren’t they?

Congress: "Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on … Americans?" Clapper: "No, sir…not wittingly."

At a March 12, 2103 Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing, Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) asked Director James Clapper, “Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” Director Clapper responded, “No, sir…not wittingly. There are cases where they could inadvertently perhaps, but not, not wittingly.”

Here is a clip of that exchange:

In early June 2013, whistleblower Edward Snowden began leaking information that revealed that the NSA does, in fact, collect private data on millions of American citizens via PRISM, that this was being done at the time of Clapper’s testimony, and that Clapper knew this when he testified.

Mutiny in the Party? Prominent Democratic Intellectual Calls Obama a “War Criminal”

Dr. Cornel West, a prominent member of the Democratic Socialists of America, used to be an Obama supporter. Lately, though, the tide has turned, and he has been publicly referring to the president as a “war criminal”. West joins a growing number of former fans who no longer support the president due to his dubious ethics.

During a recent discussion on Real Time, Bill Maher questioned Dr. West about his labeling of Obama as a “war criminal”. West stated that he is “telling the truth about Obama” and expressed that while he doesn’t hate the president (and added that he prays for him and his family), he finds it outrageous that innocent children and civilians are being killed in drone strikes authorized by Obama.

“I called Bush a criminal,” he said, “and he only had 45 drones.”
