Human Rights Watch FAIL: Uses Photo of American Bombing Destruction To Condemn Assad

Source
Brandon Turbeville

Putting its hypocritical and biased nature on full display once again, the alleged human rights organization, Human Rights Watch, was recently caught in an attempt to fabricate “evidence” of Assad’s use of barrel bombs in civilian areas for the purposes of further demonizing the secular Syrian government.

On February 25, HRW posted a photo of a devastated civilian area in Syria with the tagline “Syria dropped barrel bombs despite ban.” The “ban” HRW is referring to is the ban on bombing civilian areas that applies to both sides in Aleppo after the United Nations stepped in to save the Western-backed terrorists from annihilation. Assad’s forces had surrounded the city and had cut off a major supply route for the death squads from Turkey thus making the ultimate elimination of the jihadist forces a virtual inevitability.

Human Rights Watch: "Syrian Rebels" Guilty of Torture, Murder

As West's narrative unravels - cognitive infiltration begins.

Tony Cartalucci, Contributor

US, UK, NATO, Saudi, and Israeli backed terrorists carrying out a campaign of systematic atrocities in Syria have finally been acknowledged and reported on by Human Rights Watch, who has for nearly 2 years intentionally portrayed the conflict as one-sided violence carried out by the Syrian government alone.

With evidence and admissions emerging that the so-called "Syrian rebels" are in fact Libyan terrorists, armed, funded, and flown in by NATO to cross into Syria and attack government troops, organizations like Human Rights Watch have faced deteriorating legitimacy, even with watered-down admissions like their most recent report titled, "Syria: End Opposition Use of Torture, Executions." In the report, Human Rights Watch admits that "armed opposition groups have subjected detainees to ill-treatment and torture and committed extrajudicial or summary executions in Aleppo, Latakia, and Idlib."

Much of the torture described by Human Rights Watch involves obtaining false confessions by victims, admitting tat they are "shabeeha" militia men. The Western media has long excused terrorists operating in Syria for their atrocities, claiming that the victims were "suspected" shabeeha. It now appears, as was suspected all along, these victims were innocent, and the Western press, the BBC and CNN in particular, were complicit in covering up egregious crimes against humanity

Human Rights Watch: Obama Directive “Essentially Nullifies” Child Soldiers Law

UN Dispatch

Foreign Policy’s intrepid reporter Josh Rogin first posted last night on a White House memo in which President Obama exempted four governments from the Child Soldiers Prevention Act, a 2008 bill that bars US military cooperation with countries that recruit child soldiers.   The short presidential directive reads:

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, pursuant to section 404(c) of the Child Soldiers Prevention Act of 2008 (CSPA), title IV of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 (Public Law 110 457), I hereby determine that it is in the national interest of the United States to waive the application to Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, and Yemen of the prohibition in section 404(a) of the CSPA.
I just spoke with Jo Becker of Human Rights Watch who told me this “essentially nullifies the law.”  The Child Soldiers Prevention Acts, says Becker, mandates that the State Department list governments that recruit child soldiers. In June 2010, six countries were listed: Chad, DRC, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia and Burma.  By issuing such a sweeping waiver, Becker says the administration has effectively undermined the law.  ”It gives us no leverage to deal with the recruitment of child soldiers in these countries,” she says.
