The Washington Department of Social and Health Services is about to change the very nature of who is or is not responsible for making life-changing decisions for your children. Whether you agree with yearly flu vaccines or not, the following report from Tacoma, Washington should scare the hell out of you because if the government moves forward with their threats then every child in America will effectively become a ward of the state.

A state bureaucracy is threatening a mother with removal of an infant unless her entire family subjects themselves to flu shots.

This is the dilemma that foster parent Jamie Smith is currently facing. The Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is giving the Tacoma family until February to comply with the mandated regimen of influenza vaccines — imposed on every member of the family — or else they will lose their youngest child, a 2-week-old foster infant that was born on Christmas.

This particular case involves a foster child, but make no mistake, the state, should they choose to do so, can utilize the same strategy against you and your biological children.

By all appearances, Daniel and Alexander Meitiv are smart, responsible parents who want to instill independence in their children. They don’t like to throw caution to the wind, but they do believe that kids should be granted some freedom, so that they may learn how to take care of themselves from an early age.

They practice what’s known as “free range parenting” as opposed to hovering over their kids and showering them with fear and paranoia like most parents do these days. Katerina Jeleva Continues Legal Battle to Rescue Son From Child Protective Services

Back in May, I wrote an article entitled, “Utah Woman Has Son Stolen By DCFS Agent Despite Declaration of Innocence by Court and Social Services,” where I discussed the case of Katerina Jeleva, a Utah mother who has been victimized by an out-of-control Child Protective Services system. If you are new to this case, I encourage you to go to the article linked above in order to understand the background behind this update.

In short, when Katerina was served with a Protective Order by her ex-husband during the midst of a divorce proceeding, Katerina’s son was immediately taken from her by DCFS agents along with armed police. Yet, after repeated interviews and investigations by psychologists, sex abuse investigators, and other DCFS agents, it was determined that there was absolutely no evidence that Katerina had abused her son.

Soon after her son was returned to her, however, Katerina was served with yet another Protective Order by her ex-husband – this time with the help of rogue Guardian ad Litem, Amber Ruder. Once again, after the filing of the second Protective Order, Katerina’s son was forcibly removed from her, with police literally taking the child from his mother’s arms.

California SB 1476 Means Government Takeover of Our Children and Family

Senator Mark Leno from San Francisco, California, has introduced SB 1476 that will amend California’s current two-parent-per-child to allow an expanding of the definition of who can qualify as a parent by eliminating the current definition.

Leno claims this bill is in the best interest of the child.

The bill “would authorize a court to find that a child has presumed parents notwithstanding the statutory to presumption of parentage of the child by another man. The bill would authorize the court to make this finding if doing so would serve the best interest of the child based on the nature, duration, and quality of the presumed or claimed parents’ relationships with the child and the benefit or detriment to the child of continuing those relationships.”

The Uniform Parentage Act of 2000 (UPA) establishes:

• A comprehensive scheme for establishing paternity through voluntary acknowledgement.
• Standards and rules for genetic testing.
• A process to establish paternity through adjudication.

While the UPA provides a legal relationship between a child and their parent(s), SB 1476 would expand the legal parental relationship to more individuals that the court deems are financially responsible to the child.
