Larry Jegley, Pulaski County, Arkansas Prosecuting Attorney, will hold the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Agents accountable for any violations of the law.  Mr. Jegley stated that he is "deliberative" concerning any allegations of  criminal activity, including allegations against TSA agents.  Mr. Jegley also stated that he is not singling out TSA or any individual/agency but he is capable and willing to review the facts of any case brought to him.  Furthermore, he expressed his confidence and support for local law enforcements ability to investigate any allegations of abuse at the Little Rock International Airport.

According to the Pulaski County Government website:
The Sixth Judicial District of Arkansas includes Pulaski County and Perry County. The Sixth Judicial District Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is one of the busiest in the state. Pulaski County includes seven hundred seventy-one square miles and an estimated population of 352,164. Perry County includes five hundred fifty-one square miles and has an estimated population of 10,450. Pulaski County is primarily responsible for prosecuting crimes involving state officials because it includes the state capital.
The prosecutor and the administration of criminal justice protect victims of crime and citizens at large and seeks restitution for crime, punishment and rehabilitation of criminals and youthful offenders.
Our society experiences a wide variety of crimes including killing of children, child sexual and physical abuse, abuse of the elderly, heinous murders, abuse of dangerous drugs, domestic violence, sexual assault, assault on police officers and teachers, gang violence and writing hot checks. The Sixth District and law enforcement apprehend and prosecute criminals and achieve a good result that will benefit society.
The invasive pat down procedures were rolled out across the nation on October 29, 2010.  Since that time increased consumer anger directed at the TSA has been reported nationwide.  Recently, a TSA Agent employed at the Little Rock International Airport was arrested for stealing prescription drugs from passengers.  As a result of the recent changes in security measures, especially the invasive pat downs, which include touching breasts and genitals, many people are choosing alternative methods of transportation.

Mr. Jegley who plans to travel for the hunting season, will not use the airport.  He indicated that he prefers to drive distances of 15 hours or less due the long delays at airports caused by the increased security measures.

After speaking to Mr. Jegley, I was reassured that Pulaski County, Arkansas has a deliberative, fair-minded, Prosecuting Attorney who will protect the citizenry from any abuses, even those administered by the Federal Government.
