Banned: Chase Bank Says You Can No Longer Store Cash or Precious Metals In Your Safe Deposit Box

By Mac Slavo

Last week we reported that a Citigroup economist said that we need to abolish currency like the U.S. dollar, or at the very least, tax those who possess it.

The whole idea made no sense, unless of course you are a big government stooge whose end-game is complete control over people's assets and a desire to track the purchasing activities of consumers.

Now, a new report from Paul Joseph Watson at Infowars.com suggests that this may well be the goal. It turns out that it’s not just Citigroup who wants cash to be banned.

Prison Labor is Industry’s “Best Kept Secret in Outsourcing” and What Has Killed Your Job

Mac Slavo

There’s “free trade.” There’s “fair trade.” And then there’s what’s really happening.

The realities of globalization have made the price of labor somewhere between rock bottom and worthless.

Since the days of NAFTA, the WTO and a flood of cheap Chinese goods, major corporations – American-based and all the rest — have offshored production, taking advantage of virtual slave labor and the only edge that this kind of competition brings.

But now, American companies are taking advantage of something better than low-wage offshore labor – straightforward prison labor may be the best of both worlds for mega-corporations.

Food Chain Catastrophe: Emergency Shut Down Of West Coast Fisheries

Mac Slavo

Earlier this week Michael Snyder warned that the bottom of our food chain is going through a catastrophic collapse with sea creatures dying in absolutely massive numbers. The cause of the problem is a mystery to scientists who claim that they can’t pinpoint how or why it’s happening.

What’s worse, the collapse of sea life in the Pacific Ocean isn’t something that will affect us several decades into the future. The implications are being seen right now, as evidenced by an emergency closure of fisheries along the West coast this week.

Expert Says “Banning Cash” The Only Solution to Negative Interest Market Problems

Mac Slavo

As everyone knows by now, the Federal Reserve’s main tool in economic warfare has become hyper low interest rates and, thus, extremely cheap money for large institutions vis-à-vis the controversial reign of QE – quantitative easing.

Now, the how-low-can-you-go climate has created negative interest rates, meaning not only that many investments carry no return but that many deposits cost money.

Well-known Citigroup economist William Buiter says the solution to this backwards market is to rein in the appeal of normal currencies like cash – because it is “causing problems” for central bank manipulation:

“It’s Just a Training Exercise”: Army Special Ops Shoot Down Jade Helm Conspiracy Theories

Mac Slavo

The Special Operations Command for the U.S. Army may be preparing to blend in during its mock engagement of hostile populations in the U.S. Southwest this summer, but first it is going on the offense to counter the claims of “conspiracy theorists” about the true nature of the controversial Jade Helm 15 exercises.

A Global Financial Reset Is Coming: ‘A Deal Is Being Made Between All The Central Banks’

Dees Illustration
Mac Slavo

There is an unprecedented reset coming to world financial markets, and if you’ve been paying attention it’s impossible to ignore the signs. In fact mega-investment funds, governments and central banks have been secretly buying up and storing physical gold in anticipation of an event that will leave the U.S. dollar effectively worthless and governments around the world angling for a new global currency mechanism, according to mining executive Keith Neumeyer.

But before the reset can happen Neumeyer, who recently founded First Mining Finance and has partnered with billionaire alternative asset investors like Eric Sprott and Rick Rule, says that foreign creditors must first deleverage their U.S. dollar debt, a move that is happening right now and is evidenced by the recent strength of the U.S. dollar.

Once these U.S. debt holders unwind their positions, however, the dollar will be allowed to crash and we should prepare for a total financial, economic and monetary realignment.

Short on Cash, “Poor Americans Ending Up in Modern-Day Debtors’ Prison” Over Traffic Fines

Mac Slavo

For ages, those who were too poverty-stricken to pay judgments and other outstanding debts were locked up, and forced to work it off under prison labor, along with the cost of incarceration.

But it fell out of fashion, and became an unlawful and unconstitutional form of punishment in the U.S. back in the 1830s, as well as in most other countries. The 14th Amendment strengthened equal protection under law, that is until recent decades. With new found economic pressures and plenty of new fines and offenses, debtors’ prisons are back.

And it is a harsh reality for thousands of struggling Americans. Many more could join them if they aren’t careful.

In the Robotic Near-Future, Most “Will Live Off Government-Provided Income”

Mac Slavo

If you think the jobs market and larger economy are bad now, just wait for the future.

In the future, virtually everyone you know may be on the dole.

There are a lots of projections and scenarios about what to expect as technology advances to practically unimaginable heights.

Already many human jobs are being displaced by computers, and most trends point to a rise of automated assembly lines, computer-run logistics and services and robots to do jobs humans did before that.

China has already ushered in a workforce of robots, with less and less reliance on humans for anything.

What does this mean for the average American?

In a word: dependence.

Are They Arming for Riots Across America? Homeland Stockpiling “Less Lethal Specialty Munitions”

Mac Slavo

One of the biggest stories for years in the alternative media was the mysterious and foreboding purchase by Homeland Security of more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition.

Thanks to coverage on prominent sites like Drudge Report, the story reached into mainstream media, prompting official spin and downplaying of the purchase.

Now, a new Homeland Security purchase order listed on FedBizOpps  also raises an eyebrow or two, given the heated and divided political and social climate at hand. Just look at what happened in Ferguson…

Federal Report: The College Debt Bubble Is Collapsing

Mac Slavo

With all of that job creation being claimed by the Obama administration and disseminated by mainstream media outlets as signs of a sustained recovery you’d think most college graduates would have no trouble keeping up with their bills.

But new data released by the Department of Education tell a different story.

According to the report as many as 33% of American college grads with student loan debt are now in delinquent status on their repayments.

Bank Freeze Outs, Glitches and Holds Increasingly Locking Customers Out of Funds

Mac Slavo
This image was captured from a real ATM machine not long ago, and could be seen anytime for any reason by anyone operating on the digital grid.

If ever you needed a better motivation to get your funds out of the bank, this is a clear sign that a digital clampdown is coming.

There are increasing examples of technology failures and stricter bank policies that are keep people from getting their money.

And they are happening all across the globe.

Car Shot With Taser by Border Agents Bursts Into Flames

Mac Slavo

How widespread are the problems with excessive force by law enforcement in this country?

This shocking video once again raises questions about how much “less lethal” weapons like tasers really are during high stakes law enforcement encounters.

Dashcam video shows several Border Patrol agents descending on a vehicle at night, with one agent breaking through the passenger window and firing a taser at the driver, causing the vehicle to burst into flames.

Madness Coming To Gold Market: “There Are Thirty to Fifty Owners For Each Ounce of Gold That’s Out There”

Mac Slavo

Though the price of gold has seen a significant drop over the last two years from its all-time highs of about $1900 per ounce, many experts and analysts believe that Western central banks and their colleagues at major financial institutions have been manipulating the price.

The rampant manipulation is believed to stem, in part, from the formerly Rothschild-owned London Gold Fix, an organization made up of five large banks that make a daily determination of what the price of gold should be.

It is this unilateral control by Western banks that recently prompted the Chinese to create their own Shanghai Gold Exchange. What separates the two is that the Chinese will be using their currency, the Yuan, as the reserve rather than the U.S. Dollar. Moreover, unlike their European counterparts, the Chinese will be trading in actual physical dollars.

Government Orders Bank Tellers To Alert Police About Your Cash Withdrawals

Mac Slavo

How can you tell if you’re living in a police state?

The short answer is that you’re living in a police state when everyone becomes a suspected criminal or terrorist. And if the following report is any indicator, then welcome to the Reich.

The Justice Department has ordered bank tellers across America to contact law enforcement if they suspect your cash withdrawal may have something to do with illicit activity. There doesn’t need to be proof, or any sort of red flag indicator – merely suspicion by the bank teller processing your transaction is now enough to have you investigated by authorities.

Banned: FAA Says It Is Illegal To Post Drone Videos on YouTube

But Drone Striking American Citizens Is AuthorizedMac Slavo

If you’re like millions of other drone hobbyists in America who like to post their captured videos on YouTube then you could soon be receiving a legal notice from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Under existing FAA guidelines flying a drone for personal use is completely legal, as is recording video of your drone flight. But if you use the drone for commercial purposes, say for example to record an aerial view of a real estate property listing, then you’d be breaking the law.

But the FAA just found another loophole in their efforts to curb the popularity of drones.

Former SEC Director Warns Against Automated and Secretive Market “Rigged Against Retail Investors”

Mac Slavo

The former director of the SEC, John Ramsay, has stepped out to warn that market is rigged, and that the system is headed for a major correction “one way or another.”

Today’s financial ‘ecosystem’ is a set up for unfair advantage to those playing a game controlled by high frequency trading (run by automated computer algorithms) and secret ‘dark pool’ investors, as Ramsay sees it.Bloomberg reports:

The Great Middle Class Extinction: ''95% of New Homes Built for Rich or Poor''

Mac Slavo

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times all over again.

“Since 2000, 95 percent of new households in King County have been either rich or poor. A mere 5 percent could be considered middle income.”

That is a statistic reportedly true of Seattle – the heart of King County in Washington state – but which may well be a window into what is happening across much of the rest of the country.

Mac Slavo

As the post-Ferguson world continues forward dividing people against the police, escalations are occurring on all sides.

In an incident recorded from February 27, a Port Authority officer in New York was caught on camera chambering a round in a shotgun to intimidate a group of protesters attempting to block off an intersecting during a demonstration against police abuse.

Congressman Urges Protection for Power Grid Against EMP Attack

Mac Slavo

When it comes to an EMP attack, the question remains “when” not “if” the SHTF. Few other scenarios hold as much potential for disaster and disruption to the lives of everyone in society. At a moment’s notice, 300 million Americans could be made instantly desperate – and even likely to die in the aftermath. A single event could easily be enough to take down the power grid and render inoperable all the computers and electronic tools that individuals, businesses, banks and governments all rely upon.

Arizona Congressman Trent Franks recently reintroduced a bill intended to provide better security for critical infrastructure, with particular emphasis on the threat posed to the power grid by an EMP – which Rep. Franks points out could occur either naturally from a solar flare or by way of a targeted man-made weapon.

Obama’s Stealth AR-15 Gun Ban Targets Ammo: ''No One Can Import, Sell or Even Produce It''

Mac Slavo

If nothing else can be said about President Obama, he has adamantly stuck to one key promise – the one he made to the Brady Center to pursue gun control "under the radar."

The AR-15 is America’s most popular sporting rifle, and it has been falsely mischaracterized as an “automatic” firearm and an “assault” weapon. It has been demonized as a monstrosity via the Sandy Hook shootings. Bans on it and other so-called “assault weapons” have been attempted from every possible angle.

And now that those measures have failed to accomplish total gun control, the Obama Administration, hungry to undermine the 2nd Amendment and restrict gun ownership, is using backdoor regulations through the BATFE to ban the sale, import and manufacture of the most affordable ammunition for the AR-15.
