As DHS shutdown looms, Jeh Johnson Keeps Fear Alive With Terror Warning To Mall of America Customers

Just as the DHS congressional Feb 27th budget deadline and possible shutdown nears, a conveniently timed new domestic terror alert was issued today by Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson. Two weeks ago Jeh Johnson also warned that a lapse in funding would cause a “terrible disruption,” and “A shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security in these times is frankly too bitter to contemplate, but we have to contemplate it.”

Could this be another politically motivated scare tactic being used against the US Congress and the American people?

As a plethora of scandals continue to erupt in U.S. government, many are suspecting that an increase in terror drills (including one for chemical agents in the NY subway) and fake terror threats could be the harbinger of a real event -- false flag or otherwise. 

Austin, TX recently became the site for a leaked memo that highlighted a Homeland Security warning which seemed to show a legitimate specific threat that was hidden from the public. 

New York law enforcement reported earlier that a lethal nerve agent with the potential to be used as a Weapon of Mass Destruction sickened two customs agents working at the JFK Airport post office.

Did a Whistleblower Stop a Terror Attack in Austin?

A memo warning law enforcement of a possible terror attack at specific locales was officially sent out – but without authorization.

KXAN reported that the threat advisory warning law enforcement of a possible terror attack in Austin was ‘sent out by mistake,’ claiming that “someone released an official memo that they shouldn’t have, and that has caused fresh worries.”

Yeah, “worries” that only lend credibility to the suspicion that an inside-system terrorist attack may have been planned for Austin, Texas, but has now been brought to the public’s attention – possibly by a whistleblower who leaked the Homeland Security warning without authorization.



While the threat advisory was reportedly sent to law enforcement without official permission, it was, nevertheless, verified as authentic and based upon an actual Homeland Security warning.

While U.S. embassies around the globe have been shut down and travelers cautioned over a vague terror threat officials claim resembles pre-9/11 activity, law enforcement and counter-terrorism authorities in Austin, Texas did not issue a warning of terror threats to residents, despite a city-specific threat sent only to law enforcement.



A Homeland Security warning about ‘Possible Terrorist Threat to Venues in Austin, TX in August,’was sent out July 19, 2013 warning of “unconfirmed” possible “random terrorist attacks” that – while supposedly “random” – specify several targets, noting supposed “plans to plant back-pack style bombs on 6th street on either 8 or 9 August.”

Announced embassy and consulate closures continue all week. Perhaps longer if ordered. Doing so facilitates deception.

It's to silence lawless NSA spying critics. On Sunday TV talk shows, Republicans and Democrats agreed. Terror threats justify NSA surveillance, they claim.

According to Senator Saxby Chambliss (R. GA), there's "an awful lot of chatter out there." NSA monitors it electronically. "If we didn't have these programs then we simply wouldn't be able to listen in on the bad guys."

Senator Lindsey Graham (R. SC) said, "The NSA program is proving its worth yet again."
