Watch "Unveiled And Lifted" in Full Today

Amanda Warren

This beautiful documentary lit a fire in me - like no other - to approach freedom and consciousness in a radical way. Too many of the "awakened" walk around with broken spirits. Sometimes we forget that true freedom comes from the highest love from within - otherwise, what purpose do our actions serve? Are we going about resistance the hard way? Fighting coercion the way puppet masters intended ... What we resist, persists ... but what if we each took our personal power back in our tiny corner of the world, realized our precious worth and it burst forth in a cascade effect that never ended?

Unveiled and Lifted, is a new type of documentary experience from Lifting the Veil with Cari-Lee and Justin. It fuses music, art and substance to first show an engaging assessment of current problems and confusion, and then big pro-active alleviation - all of which resonate with the viewer. It is power based, versus fear based. It can alter inner blocks and remove false illusions.  First it unveils, then it lifts...

A U.S. Senate subcommittee report this week called into question efforts to curb drug exports from Latin America, suggesting that billions in tax dollars had been wasted in no-bid contracts with no oversight on how the money was being spent or whether efforts were succeeding.

The report comes just a week after a panel of formerly high-ranking officials -- including the former presidents of Switzerland, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, along with a former U.N. Secretary General, a former U.S. Secretary of State, the prime minister of Greece and the former U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights -- called for the drug war to shift its focus from enforcement and interdiction to medical treatment and harm-reduction policies.

"It's becoming increasingly clear that our efforts to rein in the narcotics trade in Latin America, especially as it relates to the government's use of contractors, have largely failed," Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Contracting Oversight, said in a media advisory. "Without adequate oversight and management we are wasting tax dollars and throwing money at a problem without even knowing what we're getting in return."

What is there in life that is so special? Is it the witnessing of all that is around us, is it the laughter or is it the pain that is something that we are all hooked on in one way or the other? Let`s stop ourselves for a minute and breathe and than ask ourselves what is really going on.

Where is our true purpose on this Earth? Is it really watching television, working our asses of at work and being all grumpy about our lives, because we do not have enough this or that, or maybe enough time? Time for what may I ask? For gossip, spending money, bragging and feeling over the moon about some accomplishment? For feeding in to our ego`s needs which ever way is more satisfying to us and the environment that we come from? And what else do we do just for our own amusement? Let`s not forget about a team sport that is very popular in our society: putting other people down and making them wrong, so that we can feel superior and worthy. So our ego can say back to us: "Yes, I am the best, I am right, I am more, etc". And that is all going on while explaining to others how conscious, how very good and righteous you are, because you recycle, or give to charity, or............

The federal government has been forced to respond to the accelerating backlash against new TSA measures which have outraged the nation, with TSA Administrator John Pistole and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano set to meet today with executives from the travel industry and heads of pilot associations.

Following intense and sustained focus on the issue by the Drudge Report, Infowars and Prison Planet, Reuters reports that, “Executives from the travel industry, including online travel sites, theme parks and hotels, were set to meet Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Pistole on Friday to discuss their concerns that security is crimping travel.”

The feds were forced into action after five prominent pilot and travel associations, along with a flight attendants union, vowed to boycott naked body scanners as well as the new invasive pat down procedure, threatening travel chaos. The backlash has also been characterized by new cases of individuals being abused at the hands of the TSA, stories which continue to pour in on a daily basis.
