Paavo Airola, Ph.D. a nutrition/vegetarian expert who dedicated his life to healthful eating, once said "... it would be better to eat a 'Standard American Diet' (S.A.D.) and do regular exercise than to eat an organic vegetarian diet but not exercise." I find GMO-foods to be health crippling and gut destroying, but definitely see his point - but both organic and exercise are ideal together. Eating great but not moving just won't work - stagnation is now considered a form of silent death and movement is heavily researched for it's endorphin-releasing mood enhancement. I wonder about the effectiveness of exercise that isn't truly enjoyable because maybe it's just going through "the movements."
